We are a "Gold Standard Facility" approved and listed under Saum's Landing, Placencia, BZ
Our home in Placencia can accommodates 4 guests comfortably and is right on a white sandy beach, spilling directly into the turquoise Caribbean sea. The rental includes two bedrooms both with queen-size beds, a queen size sofa bed, two full bathrooms, large picture windows that have a fantastic ocean/island views, large living room with a panoramic view of the sea, dining area, full kitchen, ceiling fans throughout, air conditioning, DVD player, Wi-Fi internet connection, outdoor patio with lounge chairs and dining table, outdoor dining under a palapa, BBQ, a three story observation tower, (watch the sun rise over the ocean and watch it set over the lagoon), you can swim, snorkel, fish, sunbathe, or relax under the palapa. If you are more adventurous, we offer 2 kayaks at your beckon call. We invite you to stay at our beautiful home where you will have the Caribbean experience of a lifetime.

Placencia offers fabulous diving, snorkeling and fishing. Placencia's beaches are the best in Belize. Local businesses offer daily trips diving, snorkeling, fishing, sailing, cave tubing, jungle tours, or visiting Mayan Ruins. The waters are noted for permit, bonefish, tarpon and many other fish. Belize offers the world's second largest Barrier Reef as well as numerous small islands (called Cayes) offshore which offer diving and snorkeling in the clear waters of Caribbean.

From the Placencia Airport you can rent a car or take a taxi to our beach house. OR A 5 minute cab ride from the Placencia Airport to Los Porticos where car, bike and golf cart rentals are available.

U.S. currency is accepted everywhere at an exchange rate of 2:1. English is spoken throughout the country.

PLEASE ALLOW 1 FULL DAY BETWEEN GUEST STAYS. Check-in is @ 3PM to 7PM (unless there are travel delays), check-out is @ 10 AM.

Our stay at Angel's Landing was beyond anything we imagined. Phil and Angela are incredinle hosts who've created a stunningly and peaceful beach front sanctuary. We loved our time here and were so grateful to spend our time in Belize in the perfect location. We'd stay here 100x's over, and look forward to our next visit.

Great view. Loved having the ocean and a pool steps away from us. House was clean and well stocked for cooking. Kayaks were an added bonus. The owners were very responsive and helpful.

Angie and Phil have the most amazing place! We loved every minute of our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. This listing was one of the rare occasions where the pictures really do it justice... It was everything we imagined from the photos. We loved the private pool and beach but we also really appreciated the quiet privacy of the location; off the main road and tucked away, and far enough away from the main attractions of Placencia that we truly felt like we were all by ourselves at times. The farthest tip of the peninsula was about a 25 minute drive but very easy and beautiful and we were glad to have some separation from the busier areas. Highly recommend staying here!

We had the greatest experience. Beautiful property, beautiful beach. It was quiet we felt safe Easy access to Placencia. The owners were fabulous and made our check-in super easy. The food, the culture the excursions were all noteworthy.

Great location and relaxing stay

Angel's Landing was in a great location to hike in the nearby national parks, explore southern Mayan ruins, and to catch the boat for our snorkel trip. The house and grounds are well maintained and clean. We appreciated the larger kitchen filled with amenities to accommodate eating in a few nights and making smoothies daily. The pool was a definite plus as the ocean was a bit turbid during our stay due to the recent storms. Angela and Phil were extremely helpful and responsive to our questions during our stay. Overall, we had an enjoyable and relaxing vacation in this bit of paradise!

Great stay in Belize!

The property is just as advertised. The house is clean and comfortable with amazing views of the sea during the day and star watching at night. The location was perfect for us. It's private and quiet and also close to many activities within a short drive. The hosts Phil and Angela were also great and provided lots of information about the house and things to do in the area. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely consider staying again in the future.

Idyllic getaway on the beach

The house was clean, spacious and in a perfect location - in a quiet part of the Placencia peninsula (off the main road)- but we were a fairly short drive away from other destinations we wanted to visit. The kitchen was well equipped so we could cook and dine there. The outdoor dining area on the beach was also lovely. And the pool and kayaks were terrific bonuses. The house has great views and a nice balcony overlooking the pool and beach.Our host Angela went above and beyond in being welcoming and helpful throughout the process - providing info on local destinations, suggestions on car services... and especially when our daughter arrived early - drove her into town so she could get groceries.

Paradise for 4

Property was just as expected and we were greeted by owners as we arrived to provide a quick overview. Great owners! We rented a car and drove from Belize City; it was a nice drive. Easy to drive down to Placencia Village 30 min or Hopkins. We preferred this location verse being in the busy parts of town. The kids (12 and 15) enjoyed the pool and beach. We fished everyday from the beach and the kayaks were a bonus. We ate at the Green Parrot three times; highly recommend. (Cedric was the best). Overall, 10/10 was just what we were looking for.

Had a phenomenal time. The place was clean and adequately stocked with most amenties. Pool, beach, and ocean were sooo nice. Perfect combination of sun, shade, and breeze made it hard to leave and go explore the country! Thanks Phil and Angie, really enjoyed ourselves.

Great location away from it all! Pool was perfect for our two young sons. About a 20-30 minute drive to the village. Would definitely stay at this property again. AC was a nice touch in the bedrooms.

We are die hard sailors. We choose Belize for it's pristine waters, beautiful culture, and it's friendly people. It is part of the Caribbean that still remains untouched. We have retired in Belize. When we are here, we find ourselves totally relaxed within hours of our arrival. There's no other place we'd rather be!
