Upon entering this beautiful 8th floor condo, step out onto the balcony and take in the sweeping view of the spectacular Gulf of Mexico. The spacious, open-concept ensures that your vacation accommodations are comfortable, luxurious and contain everything you need to fully enjoy your time here. The comfy sectional sofa is perfect for curling up and watching the large flat screen with the family. The bright, beautiful kitchen features granite countertops, a tile stone backsplash and a breakfast bar with seating for three. The dining table has room for an additional six, so your whole party can dine together or play board games at the large table. Rest comfortably in either bedroom with the plush furnishings and comfortable mattresses. The master suite features a king bed and a bathroom with jetted tub. Step out onto the balcony directly from the master suite and let that view be the first thing you see in the morning! The second bedroom has two twins. The unit was clean, but it needs to be painted, water damaged sheetrock replaced, sliding door to porch was broken, microwave door handle broken, kitchen cabinet door handles need to replaced, poor workmanship.

Amazing Location But Dated Condo

This is the second time we've stayed at this condo and in the two years we were last here the condo has not aged well. It definitely needs a lot of updating, everything was showing its age. The location is just amaxing. Its a 8th floor unit with views that make you happy. We'd stay again if they upgrade.

October 2024/Fall break

We loved the location. We visited with our 15 yr old daughter and her friend. The condo was as advertised. My only complaint was the huge cockroach on the kitchen floor the first morning when we woke up. This caused us to run a load of dishes/cutlery in the dishwasher to make sure everything was clean before cooking/eating. Also, it would be nice to have beach set up included. There weren’t many people utilizing it this time of year, but we still had to stay behind the beach setups.

lovely beach condo

Lovely spacious and clean condo with lots of natural light. Everything you may need is provided. Close to the beach, view of the pool. Did not find wifi password in condo. Contacted host through vrbo app but did not get a response. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo.

Great location and property

The actual unit wasn’t as up to date as the pictures made it seem. Very dirty looking baseboards, patches on wall that haven’t been finished but have been patched for a while, broken dresser. The biggest issue was the chair rental since this unit doesn’t come with chairs. The kid handling the chair rental doesn’t have a clue and charged me however he never reserved ours each morning like he said let alone our friends who’s units did come with chairs.

Excellent location

I enjoyed my stay. The place looked just like the pictures. All the information I needed was sent to me and I also received a phone call in regards to my stay. The neighborhood was wonderful. Everything was wonderful! I felt right at home!!! I hope to book the same condo for all of my Destin Florida stays!!

Enjoyed our Stay

Condo was great, no complaints. As advertised. We enjoyed it very much. Great balcony view of the water, and spacious living area and master bedroom. Kitchen fully stocked with appliances/utensils etc. Very good. Only negatives were not associated with the condo itself, but the overall property. -parking was a challenge late after evenings out. -entering the property at the gatehouse was sometimes annoying, often having to wait in line while conversations were had. Property needs a keypad, or scan reader or something. -The beach....early every morning 2 rows of beach chairs are setup umbrella tip to umbrella tip along the entire length of the property. Only "owners" are allowed on the front row, in which case you can rent chairs from the second row, with no view of the water, and no way to get to the water without squeezing between people's umbrellas and "stuff". If you setup your own chairs BEHIND both of them, the view/access situation is only worse. The only option was to setup in front of them, but this was dicey because you become at mercy to the tides. We were fortunate to find a "rise" of sand, and the tide washed around us. It was off putting, and although the condo was great, I wouldn't come back to this spot for that reason alone. I spent a lot of money for a BEACH vacation, I don't want to feel restricted on the beach.

The condo was as pictured. It had a great view and it was nice we were right on the beach. We could hear the surf on windy days with the doors closed. The building and the condo itself are older but everything worked. The king mattress was comfortable. Everything was very clean. We enjoyed the use of beach chairs, mats, etc. Take note, there are no supplies for cooking.

Best beach access

Place was clean and she assisted any questions had upon arrival. Love staying at this location because of the easy beach access, she also had beach chairs.

Short getaway with grandch.

My husband and I brought our 3 grandchildren for a short beach getaway and this did not disappoint. Perfect location, directly on the beach, beautiful water and the condo was beautifully decorated as well. We loved our time here and will be back, only down is we needed more days.

Nice Getaway

It was a great getaway. Condo was not very clean. It had all the basic amenities needed. There weren’t many extras. No beach chairs, no smart TV, etc. Property was great! Beach was perfect! Overall it was a good trip.

Nice Place

Very Clean, a few issues at first, Refrigerator was not on but management resolved issue quickly, one the elevators was not working for the first day or so, but it was resolved. Overall a good experience.

Nice condo but wouldn’t stay again

Nice condo/location but wouldn’t stay again. We had so many issues with check in on her first day that I just would not be able to ever stay at this condo again. The property had this condo under someone else’s name so we ended up having to sit outside in the heat for over an hour while they straightened it out. It took many phone calls and conversations with different people to get it resolved. Then we left for a while but had to leave our door unlocked because The code wouldn’t work and when we came back it automatically locked itself which left us sitting outside on the porch for over an hour waiting for someone to contact a manager to let us in. It was the worst first day of vacation we have ever experienced. They finally got us in the condo and me and my very cranky family were able to get some sleep, the next day they replace the lock and we didn’t have any more issues and they also comped us a dolphin tour which was nice but nothing other than a refund for the nightmare day could’ve made up for the disaster that was our first day of vacation. There was also confusion with the dolphin tour but it was easily resolved. Also A lot of the condos come with chairs on the beach but unit 288 does not. Despite all of the issues the unit was nice and the view was beautiful. There could have been more accommodations for people that flew in like beach towels and such.

Family Vacation

Great stay, clean property, very spacious and an amazing view of the beach. Pictures were exactly what we found at the location. Right on beach, couldn't ask for a better location.

Staying on the beach

My family love staying at the property. Great view looking out into the beach, swimming pool, tennis court, and other beach houses. It is just perfect. Home on the beach, very comfortable and relaxing. Thank you for allowing us to stay on the property.
