Second time staying in cabin 2, stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. Cabin is big enough that a family of 4 can spread out and have some space. Cabin is very well maintained and has almost everything you’d except food of course. The front porch is great for watching the sunset or just taking in lake views. We had a thunderstorm come in off the big lake and it was amazing to watch it over the hills. The lake is shallow and a good place for kids to kayak or swim, also caught some nice fish. Cabin is close to restaurants and other tourist activities but the lake itself is very relaxed, very few boats and jet skis moving about. Great place to stay for vacation.

We used the cottage for family to stay at during my dad's funeral and it was perfect. Great location and had everything we needed. Would rent again.

It was the perfect place for the two of us. Comfortable furniture and bed and especially liked the big shower. Hosts were very nice and helpful.

Perfect quick getaway

We lucked out searching VRBO for a few night stay midweek and stumbled upon this lovely cottage. The lake was peaceful, we loved the kayaks and the dock. The cottage was small but very clean and comfortable. We are looking forward to returning!

Nice property

We enjoyed the dock, kayaks, and firepit that the property offered. Good location to explore nearby areas such as Frankfort and Glen Arbor. The cottage was clean and just big enough for my family of five. We would stay here again.

Great place to stay

Cottage was small but perfect size for the two of us. Quiet peaceful lake, loved sitting on the screened porch watching the herrons and ducks. Didn't use the available rowboats, kayaks or SUP's this year but looking forward to a future stay with kids and I'm sure we will use them.

Stay was great. Can’t beat the views of the sunset right outside your back door. So relaxing! Owners were very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely go back.

This cottage is lovely and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the dock with our coffee/cocktails. It was windy while we were there, so we didn't go in the water. The lake is shallow for quite a way out and has a sand bottom. It is located a few minutes from downtown Frankfort. Beautiful location.

Great little lake cottage

We stayed over Labor Day weekend, great little cottage with beautiful views of the lake. The lake is very quiet, very few boats. The lake is quite shallow near the cottage which was nice for the kids, they both learned to kayak while we were there. Short distances to some great tourist attractions, but once you’re done with people you can retreat to the cottage for peace and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage had a great lake view and easy access to the lake with beautiful sunsets. The cottage was clean with a comfortable sofa and beds. Kitchen had what a short rental would need for food prep and dining. Walk in shower was perfect! Very peaceful, rarely any road noise and the stars at night were brilliant! Our hosts were the best- friendly and helpful! One of our best stays with Vrbo. Would definitely return.

Relaxing Stay

Lake is not busy and shallow for kids to play. Tons of paddle boards, kayaks, and row boats available. Only 10 minutes to Frankfort. Very lovely cottage with everything we needed to get away. Thanks Peter!

Very nice place on the water with new furnishings. Exceeded our expectations.

The rental was in excellent condition. Completely remodeled with all new furnishings. The host was very helpful. We used the kayaks, paddle boards and boats. Our rental was on the water with very nice view of the lake. Would highly recommend.

Bedrooms?

Loved the property but there are not 3 bedrooms in the cabin as advertised. There are 2 bedrooms plus a hideaway couch in the living room.

Sorry for the confusion, this was the 1st sentence in property description. "This is cottage #2 of 5, two-bedroom waterfront cottages on 265' of frontage..." I tweaked the sleeper sofa description to "living room sleeper sofa".

Cute little house

This property this a bit farther than i thought but an easy drive from Frankfort- 12 miles. It is listed as 3 bedrooms, unless i misread it but only 2 and then a couch in a small sitting area. The house was nice and clean and next to a super cute dock and sitting area outside. Very peaceful.

If you want a quiet place to relax and enjoy a private lake, this is your spot. Cottage has been gutted and completely renovated into a modernized, two-bedroom home with a beautiful kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms and open family room. The lake is quiet and peaceful with great fishing. Kayaks and rowboats were available on-site for use. Excellent communication with host. Would book again.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We loved this home and will definitely be back. My husband and I brought our 2 grandchildren 11 and 8 for a 4 day summer vacation. This home is totally remodeled. Very clean. Kitchen is well stocked. The screened porch was perfect to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. The waterfront is perfect. There are numerous row boats, paddleboards, tandem kayaks and small kayaks all are available with the cottage. The water is crystal clear and shallow for all to enjoy. Plenty of chairs and picnic tables with a gas grill. The owners are at the resort and are very helpful with anything you may need. Young or old it’s a perfect home. Beautiful view of the lake

Great two bedroom cabin. Lots of windows, awesome kitchen and bathroom. for those who cook it would be helpful to have a few more kitchen utensils like a steamer. Otherwise, no complaints. We used the fans a lot and found that you have to be fairly tall to be able to reach the chains to control the fan and the light. Also good idea to bring in the chair cushions from the screened in porch because they get quite wet when it rains. Another suggestion would be a few throw rugs, particularly in the bedroom because the floor gets quite sandy, and it would be nice to have something to get the sand off the feet before getting into bed. Peter was responsive and friendly As was his wife. Would definitely come again.
