Great view and access to town

We did a different adventure each day; Canmore has so many great trailheads etc around it. At the end of the day it was easy to walk to dinner from the condo.

Good property although microwave did not work and bbq did not throw very much heat.. ended up cooking burgers on the stove. Great location near everything.

Great location and friendly host

The location is awesome, right outside the national park, easy to get to, beautiful view and the roof top hot tub is a superb bonus. The host is very friendly and efficient. Underground parking spot is another great bonus in the winter time. We were very happy with the location.

Stunning views

Larry was very accommodating with his condo. Shopping is within walking distance. Loved the underground parking. The town is very cute and everyone in it is very nice and willing to answer questions on where to go and what to do. Would definitely stay here again!.

The place to stay!

It was great! The one thing that I wasnā€™t clear when booking -upstairs room is kinda open space - the light from downstairs would disturb your sleep. The greatest thing for us was - the condo has bed safety rails for kids. Location and the window view is awesome !

Wonderful place, amazing location

Our stay at this place was absolutely amazing! The hosts communicated with us when needed and kept us updated with changes. The space is really amazing - super open concept so it was easy to all hang out together and enjoy the big mountain views. Save on is super close, making it convenient for those last minute dinner shopping needs. The hot tub on the roof was the cherry on top of the cake! We definitely recommend staying here.

Incredible Place!

This was a great place to stay. I loved the views. We had everything we needed except face towels and a wine opener. There may have been a wine opener but we didn't find it. The roof top hot tub was amazing. We didn't want to leave.

Mountain Christmas

Well stocked kitchen. We cooked a whole roast dinner and had all the pots and pans we needed! Cozy space, great table for meals and board games, quiet building, easy access to amenities, close to groceries and a 5 minute walk to Main Street, big windows with mountain views, enjoyed the bbq. Too bad the hot tub was unavailable but our family had a wonderful Christmas getaway in the mountains!

Great Condo in conveniet location

Excellent Condo, better than we anticipated everything we needed. Kitchen well set up with equipment and staples to be able to be self suffient if you desire. Nothing we could fault...had an awesome stay. Supermarkets, restaurants, liquor stores within short walk and also beautiful canmore shopping centre. The weather closed in while we were here and we couldn't ask for a better place to be stuck inside great view of the mountains in this cosy warm condo. Lots of choices of entertainment, games, movies and the beautiful rooftop spa. Thanks Larry from Jo (nz) and Joan (aussie)

The location was great and the property had everything we needed. On the downside, someone decided to chip ice away from the rooftop hot tub at 06:30AM every morning and woke us up. It sounded like someone banging on the walls and ceiling. We went and spoke with the person which only delayed the noise until 07:15AM.

Great location, family friendly

We had a great experience at this property! The instructions for finding the parking garage, as well as getting into the building and condo were very detailed and accurate. I appreciated all the information as well. The condo itself was clean and had a great view of the mountains. It was perfect for us and our 1-year old. The separate bedroom was helpful for him to go to sleep before us, and we were able to enjoy sitting on the balcony or in the living room in the evening. There were also various additions specific for children such as high chair seat and plates/utensils (all in good condition). The location was great... within minutes to the grocery store, coffee, shops, and many restaurants. The only complaint we had was that it was pretty warm inside while we were there, even with the air conditioners running. It did cool things down overnight when we opened the windows, but sometimes took awhile to get to that point so made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Larry was very helpful throughout the process - very responsive to emails/messages. I sent him a message while we were there, and he called me within a few minutes to follow up. Overall, a great stay!

Great location + great owners = great stay

We have just got back to the UK from our (extended) stay at canmore crossing. Thanks to the volcano in Iceland and the flight ban across Europe we got to spend four more days in lovely lovely Canada. As this was unexpected Laurie, the condo owner, couldn't have been more helpful. We extended our stay on a 'standby' basis and this was such a relief as news of our departure was changing by the hour. Aside from that, the condo is great. Showing fair signs of wear and tear for a property of that age with regular rentals but nothing that puts you off staying there. What was nice was the, as promised, little extras. The beds were very comfortable, the linens and towels were in abundance and the place was clean, clean, clean. Also, what I liked in comparison with other rentals was that in the kitchen cupboards there were 'little' ingredients so you didn't have to go out and buy bottles of spices/ oils / marinades. Loads of crockery, cutlery and pots and pans, all of good quality. To agree with another review, it would be a little cramped with 6 adults, unless you knew each other really well, if you didn't by the start of a holiday there, you would by the end! We had three adults, one nine yr old and an infant and it was cozy. We did wonder why there were so many electric fans in the closets when we got there, when the weather turned warm, we found out why, this place gets hot! All in all it's a great place, easy to get to, easy to stay. Great location, great owners who provide all the information needed. Excellent find, I would love to return. nuff said.

Great place and amazing location

We really enjoyed the stay checkin and checkout process are extremely simple worked perfectly. Air conditioning could have been better as itā€™s summer it was really hot inside the unit . Other than that it a perfect location and well suited for our family . Will definitely recommend and consider this place again.

Prime Canmore Location

We enjoyed staying at this property quite a bit. Itā€™s clean, spacious, well-equipped and convenient to everything Canmore offers. There is plenty of nearby shopping and great views from the condo. Parking onsite is very easy. If you want to visit Lake Louise, itā€™s a good hour but quite a pretty drive. You can also see local wildlife by taking a drive on nearby Spray Lake Road.

Banff Vacation

Very convenient. Safeway nearby with fresh bread at 8 AM. Everything worked except the bbq burners would only slightly light, not enough to use. Also we could not figure out how to see a DVD, and the owner instructions to renter were sometimes inaccurate and maybe for a different property. Also would have been nice to have a Listing of available TV channels. None of these were a big deal to us.

Larry has been interviewed by news publications and spoken at VRBO property owner events on purchasing and running vacation rental properties

Laurie travels across Canada for her work helping other vacation rental owners decorate their properties.

Both of us are avid travellers. We have owned vacation rentals in Canada, USA and Costa Rica.

We still own 3 vacation rental properties with Laurie managing the bulk of our rentals. Together weā€™ve spent many months travelling the world (North America - 9 provinces, over 40 states) (World - 20 countries and numerous territories) not counting places weā€™ve been to individually. Our goal is to do a good job exploring this great world of our in the time we have here.

We are open to trading time at our properties during the off peak seasons. All our properties are fantastic to visit year around.

We bought this property for these reasons:

Stunning view of the 3 Sister's Mountain Range.
The sunrises off the balcony, or family room window are fantastic.

Central location between the new downtown core and the old quaint downtown. There isn't a more central condo complex to walk to both areas. E.g., Starbucks, Tim Hortons, grocery stores, restaurants (all within just a couple of minutes walking).

Roof top hot tub (3 hot tubs that are shared amoung units throughout the complex), gas fireplace.

Canmore is a great mountain town. It isn't as touristy as the Town of Banff.

Close to the Trans-Canada highway for when you want to drive in to Banff.

Very close to Elevation Place (public swimming, rock climbing) with access pass.

Other reasons:
