Lake LBJ Water Front Cottage on River Canal 2 Boat Slips

Start your Hill Country "stay-cation" at this perfect water front cottage! Located a scenic 70 minutes from Austin or San Antonio, it's an easy get-away. Gorgeous park-like yard provides plenty of space for fun and relaxation. You'll love the fun cowboy retro décor and comfy furniture.

The cottage has a large living/dining area and a kitchen with a large serving bar. Sleeps 7 comfortably; The cottage amenities include satellite TV, DVD, BBQ gas grill, all kitchen utensils, blender, toaster, drip coffee maker, microwave, and full size washer/dryer. The bedroom has a king size bed including all linens for the bed and bath. Also includes a futon (sleeps 1 adult or two children), a full bed with all linens and pillows included. The leather sofa in the living room has a queen inner spring mattress.

The property is on the waterfront of a Colorado River channel connecting to Lake LBJ. Expansive waterfront provides easy access for water fun. Fish from the dock day, take a cool dip in the water or float on your air mattress -- no boat is needed to have fun in the water at El Rancho Pescado!

WE CAN ACCOMODATE A GUEST BOAT. BOAT LIFT IN THE COVERED DOCK IS NOT AVAILABLE. WATERCRAFT CAN BE RENTED FROM LOCAL VENDOR AND CAN BE DELIVERED TO OUR DOCK.

Perfect Cottage for a Christmas Getaway…

We stayed three nights in this lovely cabin. It was beautiful and cozy…warm and comfy, the perfect place for our quiet Christmas vacation. We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The host is friendly and helpful. We hope to visit again soon.

Our Favorite Spot

This is by far our favorite getaway spot. The owner is fabulous and the house is perfect. It’s cozy and has everything you could possibly need.

Lake LBJ Getaway

Perfectly centrally located in Kingland, on a quiet road and cove, but close to everything. This home met all of my families vacation needs including being able to bring our dogs. I would definitely recommend this rental to others.

Awesome property

This is a wonderful waterfront property with huge tree's nestled on a quiet street in Kingsland. A perfect weekend getaway and the Owner was extremely helpful and made the stay 5-star. Would definitely come back to this spot and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place with a great yard!

Perfect River Getaway

The Cottage and Property were awesome, so much personal attention to details. There was plenty of room and had everything needed in the kitchen/bathroom. Great communication with property management. We had a great time.

Idyllic Escape from the Hustle and Bustle

This property is the perfect escape from the day to day grind. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or family gathering El Rancho Pescado checks all the boxes and will not disappoint. Thank you to our wonderful hosts Judy and Robert for opening their home up to us and we look forward to renting this wonderful space again annually.

Very Relaxing and had everything we needed

We enjoyed fishing day and night, making s'mores on the fire pit, and kayaking. The house and property are quite spacious. Beautiful blue bonnets (in March)! High quality outdoor gas grill, plenty of cooking amenities and a nice HEB close by. The owner was very friendly and responsive and even checked on us when a storm came through.

Our family enjoyed our stay so much! It was perfect. We loved fishing off the dock and using the kayak. The kitchen was well stocked with every thing you would need to cook. We really hated to leave. I would definitely return and recommend it to friends.

Charming Cottage and Relaxing Getaway!

I highly recommend El Rancho Pescado for a relaxing getaway! This adorably charming cottage has all the comforts of home plus a beautiful view of the lake! It has everything you need for your watercrafts, a fire pit for your smores, an outdoor dining table for your meals and most importantly, plenty of fun in the sun! The property is so gorgeous and the lake access was perfect! We spent a week there and we can’t wait to go back! Please don't wait and book your vacation at El Rancho Pescado now!

This guest brought their own jet ski so our double jet ski ramp was perfect for them. They also told me about all of the exploring they did in the area of Inks Lake with their young daughter and how much they enjoyed it. They also were glad to spend their vacation time with their doggies!

Spring Break

We love the Moonshadow Ranch property! It’s perfect for two twelve year old boys (fishing right off the boat slip and plenty of space to explore), and two parents who need peace and quiet to read and recoup from the daily grind. The new windows are beautiful, fit perfectly with the architecture, and provide privacy in the bathrooms. We look forward to our next stay at the ranch!

We had a great stay.

The house was located in a perfect spot for us on the lake. The cove was nice and quite with very little traffic. The house was clean and well maintained. The only complaint is the futon bed in the closet was not very comfortable. We will be coming back. Thank you to the owners who shared there house with us.

Thank you so much for your comments! We certainly do hope you return soon. I recommend adults should sleep on the king size bed or the queen size hide-a-bed within the large leather couch in the living room. The hide-a-bed was recently purchased and it has an inner-spring mattress that is quite comfy. We have provided queen size linens as well. The futon and day-bed are best suited for a small adult or young children. In my experience, this is true of most all futons or day-beds. After your stay, we also replaced the king-sized mattress.

Thanksgiving stay

This is my first experience with a Vrbo property and my husband and I were happy. The place was clean, in a quiet area and equipped with anything one would need for a weekend stay. My only suggestion is that some type of nonslip mat be placed in the master bath as well as something to hold onto when getting in and out. Overall the experience was very positive and I would certainly return.

Beautiful property! Very relaxing atmosphere, comfortable amenities and lots of great outdoor seating areas and well maintained yard. Just what we were looking for on our extended weekend getaway. The rental process was very easy, the owner Judy and Robert were fantastic to work with and the online access to nearby attractions and business establishments made everything effortless. Great little house wit plenty of room

Everything was perfect. Lots of parking, beautiful huge oak trees, A/C worked wonderfully, kitchen was fully equipped, and the boat lift was sooooo convenient that it makes me want to change lakes. Boat docks are prohibited on our lake. We would definitely stay in the property again. It is a one bedroom and will sleep several people, but would recommend for small families, not couples. Wonderful experience overall!!!

Blast from the past

This is really a very large one bedroom casita with two full baths. Inside is comfortable and roomy. The decor takes you back to the Texas Hill Country in the 1950's. The outdoor area is wonderful. There is ample outdoor furniture on the water front. Very quite and private. Nice place to watch the sunset and have a glass of wine. We can highly recommend it.

Charming Texas Getaway!

I surprised my husband with a weekend getaway & this was the perfect place! The inside was cozy and spacious for the two of us. You will love the kitchen. We spent a few hours fishing outside, but the colder weather made us decide to cozy up in the living room, watching Western movies and sipping wine. Truly a treat. Our dachshund loved the property, and there were even stakes with leashes to keep him close. We can't wait to return.

Birthday weekend

Thank you very much for a wonderful weekend. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The dogs and husband are wore out from all the boating, fishing and swimming. Your property was perfect. There was always a cool place in the shade with a view. The pictures do not do El Rancho Pescado justice. :)
