We recently renovated and refurnished Sapphire Sunrise.All recent photos. Airport Location for St. Thomas is STT - Cyril E. King Airport.
THE LAYOUT:
"Sapphire Sunrise" Villa has two floors, so our condo offers comfort and flexibility for couples, families or friends. There are Living & Sleeping spaces on each level along with balconies. The top level is the Main Suite with King Bed, large work desk, sitting area, master bath and private balcony. The main level living room has a Bassett Queen Sleeper sofa, a double vanity full bath, full kitchen, dining area and large balcony. A totally flexible space to use how you travel.
THE LOCATION:
Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina offers the best location on the Island. We are located less than a half mile from the ferry boats to St. John (car or walk on) and to Red Hook where all your entertainment and dining needs will be fulfilled! After you book I will share my personal guide to the best things to do on and off the water, some great choices for excursions, the best dining spots and much more!

Our resort is the place to be if you want instant access to the beach, coral reefs, oceanfront salt water pool, 4 bars, 4 restaurants, a coffee shop, beach boutique and full marina for fun! You can take boat trips, sunset sails, fishing trips, ride jet ski’s, go parasailing, take the jet boat ride, book private charters, do a full day dinghy rental and so much more, just steps from our front door! Everything is right here on site at Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina. Our ideal East End location is half a mile from Red Hook where you will find many great restaurants, bars, shops and the Harbor with Ferry Service to St. John and BVI's! THE VIEW:
“Sapphire Sunrise” is Located Directly On Sapphire Beach, Unit E-308 offering Spectacular Direct Ocean Views overlooking St. John and the British Virgin Islands, the Caribbean Sea and Sapphire Marina to the side. Our Condo is on the third and fourth floors at the Top of Building E, at the quiet end of the Beach and 20 steps to the Marina. From this location, just a few steps to the water, you have an unobstructed, panoramic view of the Sapphire Blue Caribbean Sea. The condo faces East allowing for lovely Trade Wind Breezes if you like to open the doors and windows and hear the sounds of the ocean. You will enjoy the boats coming in and out of the Marina morning and night, as they provide a perfect view while you enjoy your coffee, cocktails or glass of wine. It’s all so breathtaking that most guests don’t ever want to close the blinds on the glass doors! In the evening the glistening golden hour sunlight dances across the sea as the night lights of St. John begin to take over, providing a magnificent backdrop for the star filled night sky!
THE BALCONIES:
Each level has it’s own spacious balcony with seating and tables for dining al fresco! The dual balconies allow for everyone to have their own private spaces to enjoy the morning sunrises and amazing night skies!
THE BEDROOM:
For your sleeping comfort in the Top Floor Bedroom Suite we have a King size Bed upstairs, featuring a Simmons Beautyrest King Pillow Top. The bedroom also has a new 55" LG Smart TV with Apple TV and DVD/BlueRay player and movies. We also have a large work desk, with unlimited 50 MB Fiber WiFi, so you can vacation while you remote work if needed.
THE BATHROOMS:
Both bathrooms were recently renovated and updated with crisp white subway and herringbone tiled showers, new vanities, sinks and faucets and all the other amenities, including hairdryers. Upstairs has an extra spacious vanity, walk in shower with modern glass styling. Downstairs has a large double vanity with double sinks and walk-in herringbone tiled shower as well. Both feature new Moen Magnetix Shower heads with lots of settings for everyone's personal preference!
THE LIVING ROOM:
The main floor has a 55" Sony Smart TV with Premium Cable, Apple TV for using your Netflix, Hulu, etc. We also have a Basset Queen sleeper sofa in the living room for 2 guests. The main level has a full bathroom with double vanity, storage closet & large balcony as well. This allows for 2 guests upstairs and 2 guests downstairs comfortably.
THE DINING AREAS:
We have three great spots to enjoy your meals! The main floor dining table and bar seating. Then the two balconies each offer a table and chairs for more intimate, ocean front dining, which is what most of our guests tend to use.
THE KITCHEN:
The Full Kitchen is equipped with a large double door Refrigerator w/Ice Maker, silent Dishwasher, Glass Cooktop, Convection/Microwave Oven and Crock Pot. We have all the appliances you need like a KitchenAid Drip coffee maker that also grinds beans, toaster, powerful Ninja blender and more!
THE RESORT:
Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina has everything you need to take the perfect Island getaway to St. Thomas! We have a most spectacular and famous white sand beach, boasting waters with colors you can’t even really describe. The sea grape trees provide natural sun protection throughout the day as you lounge in your resort beach chairs, provided for free and placed for you each day by our beach attendants. The inviting pool has 2 levels, with the sapphire blue and turquoise waters on both sides, so you can swim while staring at the mesmerizing ocean!
Our marina also offers all sorts of boat trips, sunset tours, snorkel trips, jet ski rentals, parasailing, jet boat rides, dinghy rental and of course FISHING trips! There’s also an on-site Taxi Stand where you can always catch a 3 minute ride to Red Hook for bars, restaurants, shops and the St. John Ferry.
From “Sapphire Sunrise” you can be anywhere on the resort including the ocean, pool, marina activities, restaurants/bars, coffee and ice cream shop or taxi stand within 20 seconds to a 3 minute stroll, with all the peace this unit offers with no building to the south, just views of the boat filled marina and open ocean! Special Tip - Try a walk out to the end of the Marina docks at night....then look up, a dreamy star show awaits you!

The Beach Buzz Coffee Shop - Great coffee drinks, smoothies, breakfast sandwiches/bagels, snacks, sundries, bottled water and soda and an ice-cream counter!
SeaSalt - Our newly opened 5 Star 2nd floor oceanfront dining restaurant! Available on OpenTable for bookings.
Paradise Pie - Our newly opened pizza cafe on the beach! They offers amazing pizzas and a second oceanfront bar with views you won’t want to miss!
Sudi’s Restaurant and Bar- Located next door, right up the little driveway hill by the Marina. Just a 3-4 minute stroll away. They have fantastically famous fish tacos (and shrimp too) along with burgers, pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, salads and more.
(Two more dining venues plan to open this year including an upscale rooftop steak and seafood restaurant and a famous local sushi restaurant.)
THE TECHNOLOGY:
We have provided 50 MB FIBER internet service because our guests love to share photos of their “Sapphire Sunrise” experience with their friends and family. They also love streaming their favorite entertainment for relaxing nights in after “tough days” at the beach on our Smart TV’s, Apple TV's with the Netflix App and other apps you can log on with you accounts. We have wireless bedside chargers with, power, USB and USB-C ports. We also have a digital keyless entry system and a hotel-safe for your valuables.
THE ISLAND:
St. Thomas has many attractions and activities within easy driving distance such as Magens Bay, Coral World, Hiking Trails, Sky-Lift, Zip Lining, Botanical Gardens, Drake's Seat, and more. Colorful downtown Charlotte Amalie, the capital city, is a 25-minute drive and offers duty-free shopping. A 15 minute ferry ride will take you to St. John and a 30-minute Seaplane flight or a two hour Ferry ride will take you to historic St. Croix.
No passport is needed by American citizens to visit the US Virgin Islands of St.Thomas, St. John, Water Island or St. Croix. Bring one if you want to make side trips to the British Virgin Islands.
Minimum age of booking guest is 25. Children age 12 - 17 only. Maximum 4 Guests. No Smoking. **We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance to protect their vacation investment. VRBO offers coverage, as do outside providers based on your needs.
THE STAY DATES:
Please note, we have 2-3 night minimum stays typically for April through Mid December. Winter stays are a set 7 night booking, from Saturday through Saturday, from mid December through April 1st typically. Many winter guests, depending on origination location, book flights to Puerto Rico SJU airport and then take a separate flight on Jet Blue, Silver Airways or Cape Air. Jet Blue is often the cheapest! In some markets this method can save as much as 40% on the total flight cost.

We currently live in NW Arkansas after living in Indianapolis, Florida, Minnesota, California, Brazil and the Middle East in the last 15 years!
We've traveled to over 87 countries throughout North America, South America, Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Scandinavia, Russia, the Middle East and more! We've spent time in some of the most beautiful places on earth, which includes traveling many times to St Thomas! In 2020 we decided it was time to own a little piece of paradise here for ourselves, so we purchased and remodeled our first new space that we now call "Sapphire Dream!" It was our escape from the cold Minnesota winters, but now we left the super cold behind thankfully! We added 2 more beautiful property at Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina over the past few years. Now when we are not there with family and friends, we love are sharing our 3 remodeled beach homes at Sapphire with wonderful guests from around the world, so they can experience all that St. Thomas and the USVI's have to offer.
