Robin’s Nest

We had a great stay at Robin’s Nest. Every thing was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The view was amazing. The only drawback was the stairs to the 3rd floor which we were aware of. It is a great place and we had a perfect stay.

Great view

Robyn's Nest was great. View is spectacular. Rental had everything we needed. It was a very relaxing week.

Best view in OBX!

This was a dream location. I never wanted to leave this unit because everything we wanted was right there with the views from every window of the ocean. I wish the storm had not caused us to leave 2 days early though - was sad to have to leave. This unit was chock-full of everything you could possibly want. The only thing you needed to bring was fresh food & booze! The decor and furnishings are upscale, and the linens are top-notch. Why would you want to go find a restaurant with a view when you can order carry-out or cook in the VERY well-stocked kitchen and eat on the deck with THE view? Also, in the master bedroom, if you open the windows at night, you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. What more could you want? And the 62 steps (I counted lol) is good cardio, but don't do what I did and count steps instead of watching where you're walking and miss a step (going down) then look around to make sure no one saw you fall LOL! Great place, loved Avon, miss it already, want a re-do to have the full 7 days.

Another Great Stay!

We've been coming to the Outer Banks on occasion for 20 years, and this is our favorite rental. BEST views of the ocean, best spacious balcony, well stocked kitchen, and clean, updated condo. We enjoy the goodies in the guest gift basket as well. We hope to be back at 'our spot' next year!

Incredible!

This beautiful ocean front unit made for an idea beach vacation! The condo was beautifully furnished. The kitchen has been thoughtfully updated, and was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals that we could enjoy on the covered deck. We definitely got our steps in, as this was a third floor unit, but the view of the ocean, beach, and Avon Pier was worth it. My kids loved the easy access to the beach, and also enjoyed using the condo pool. Hoping to make a return trip next year!

Condo was great! Vacasa should be better!

Loved that this was oceanfront, clean, and well stocked for our needs. Perfect for our smaller family. The condo itself was great and we would stay again. It does have 62 steps to enter the condo. So if you have a hard time with steps, this isn’t for you. Vacasa failed to notify us that beach nourishment was taking place right in front of the condo. They worked 24/7 which made it very difficult to sleep. When asked why they didn’t notify us, all Vacasa said was “sorry for the mis-communication”. There was no Mis-communication, there was NO communication at all. We did have an issue with the washing machine that was rectified within a day. So, please stay at this condo - it comes with a brand new beach, but book it next year through a different realty company. The 5 stars are for the condo, not Vacasa.

Wonderful oceanfront unit. Well furnished and equipped. We had poor weather for our stay, so the view of the ocean and beach from the master bedroom, living room, and covered deck made all the difference! We’re already looking forward to another stay.

Amazing location

This is our second time staying at Robyn’s Nest. The location is amazing and we watched a full moon rise over the ocean on our first night. The condo is clean, up to date, and stylish. We would absolutely recommend it!

OBX Property

The property was one of the cleanest and well appointed condos we have stayed in. It had everything we needed. The ocean views from the deck were amazing! The property was close to everything we needed including grocery store and restaurants. The property being in Avon meant it was considerably quieter and more peaceful that our previous vacations in more populated areas. If there was anything that would influence the score is the stairs.

Our anniversary trip

My husband and I have been coming to Avon for 30 years. This is the first time it was just us, so we decided to rent a condo this time. It was wonderful, the views were great. The condo was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We are hooked!

A Week in April

Spectacular! The views are outstanding. The sounds of the surf are soothing and relaxing. Waking up each morning with the sound of of the OBX is unreal. There are a lot of steps to #7 but it’s worth it. We’re already booked for next year
