The lavishly renovated, listed farmhouse in Riederau am Ammersee (17J 1770) with up to 360 square meters of living space is the jewel for the guest with a sense of something special and well-known as the Gründerhof and former museum Stohrerhof. The holiday home has just been added to the catalog "The best of the region". With its 12 rooms, 5 fireplaces, a 1,000 square meter garden, its historic chapel and many extras you do not miss out on anything. Jetty, lido and of course the Ammersee are within walking distance 10 minutes from the farm. 3 restaurants are in the immediate vicinity in the village. Hiking and cycling trails start right outside the front door.

Munich is 40 km from Historischer Gutshof, while Augsburg is 45 km away. Both Munich and Memmingen airports are 65 km away.

On three floors you have found exclusively a truly special holiday home:

BASEMENT: The spacious hall (22sqm) on the ground floor, offers direct access to all rooms. In addition to the cloakroom (5sqm) incl. Shoe shine machine can be used directly in the farmhouse (28sqm) with oven, jukebox, games and a large table (for up to 12 people). We paid special attention to the historical demolition of this 18th century room.

To the living room closes the modern and fully equipped joiner's kitchen (20sqm), with high quality kitchen appliances (dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, raclette grill for 12 people, toaster, citrus Press, kettle, bread maker). Dishes, glasses and cutlery are provided for up to 12 people.

Next to the kitchen you enter the lounge (21sqm), which with an exclusive sofa bed (1.90 x 2.00) can also serve two other guests as a bedroom.

Even from the spacious hall you reach one of our bedrooms (30sqm) with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00) and a single bed (0.90 x 2.00) and a Sena Aire Safari travel cot (0.94 x 0, 66 with a load capacity of up to 15 kg) with direct access to the large 1,000 square meter garden. This is followed by the exclusive bathroom (8sqm) with underfloor heating and towel dryer. High quality towels are available for each guest.

The former chamber (13 sqm) of the manor is our third cozy bedroom with a comfortable double bed (1.80 x 2.00). This is also adjacent to the tasteful bathroom (8 sqm) with underfloor heating and towel dryer, which is tiled with the highest quality Canadian green slate.

Washing machine and dryer in the EC you can use.

BELLE ETAGE: The historic wooden staircase leads directly into the stately upper floor with four further rooms. The light-flooded hall provides direct access to the beautiful and bright bedroom / living room (28sqm) with two high-quality Lambert lobby armchairs and an exclusive leather sofa bed by Franz Fertig (1.80 x 2.00) and timeless USM Haller shelves. There is a music system (Bluetooth enabled) with designer boxes and CD's, as well as a flat-screen TV and various games available. The fireplace in this room invites you to many cozy hours. Firewood is provided.

The three other rooms upstairs are the dressing room (20sqm), a bedroom (21sqm) with double bed (1.60 x 2.00), and the 30sqm bathroom (heated floor, towel dryer) with shower, bath, fireplace and one of two Side walk-in toilet with bidet. All these rooms stand out for their modernity, but also for their exceptionally exclusive appointments, with fine Jatoba flooring, Canadian green slate, freestanding bathtub, open fireplace, spacious shower room with heated shaving mirror, onyx washbasin and last but not least high quality Dornbracht fittings. In the bedroom there is also another TV available. High quality towels and bathrobes are available for each guest.

PENTHOUSE: In April 2019 we finished the penthouse in Gut Stohrerhof, which with its almost 100 square meters unique in character allows up to four other guests a special holiday experience. This loft-style living unit in the attic of the founding of Riederau am Ammersee consists almost of a single large room, has another open kitchen with microwave, oven, Bora hob, coffee machine and all the amenities of a fully equipped luxury kitchen.
With two bathrooms and toilets fitted with an American woodworker's wood washbasins and a generous shower with rain and hand shower, heated shaving mirror and ambient lighting, you'll quickly find yourself in a very special place.

Our two double beds (1.80 x 2.00 m) are among the special highlights. At the push of a button, both beds push on request electrically to sleep from the knee sticks. An old barn door offers in this generous ambience the possibility to find a retreat in this loft. And it is particularly pleasant that at the touch of a button, the double beds, whether made or not, disappear again in the knee skirt and the large room is unrestricted as a living room always tidy available.

We do not want to conceal the fact that in the spacious seating area with its exclusive leather sofa and leather armchairs you can enjoy a wonderful view through the fully glazed façade or enjoy the romantic fire in the fireplace.
