Located in a quiet area of West End, this three bedroom waterfront condo has stunning ocean views and a private 1800 square foot rooftop terrace.
The open floorplan condo has a large kitchen and dining area as well as a private rooftop terrace complete with bathroom and outdoor BBQ and dining rea.
The condo has 1600 square feet of indoor living area plus a 200 square foot balcony with a BBQ, table and chairs, and lounge chairs. It has 2 bedrooms with King Beds. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and glass doors that open onto the balcony. The second bedroom has a Jack and Jill bathroom that opens to the bedroom and the living room. The third bedroom has a queen bed. The kitchen is great for cooking and is fully equipped. The ice and water from the refrigerator are purified for your drinking pleasure. There is a large dining table, breakfast bar, and living room. The living room has a HD Flat Screen with HD TV channels (a rarity on Roatan) and TVs in the two main bedrooms. There is a washer and dryer in the condo as well. It is a great area, very quiet, and safe.
It also has an 1800 square foot private rooftop terrace complete with gardens, lounge chairs, a dining area, an outdoor BBQ area, and a full bathroom. Guest access Guests have access to the entire space Other things to note Mid rental maid service is included for rentals of 7 days or more. For rentals over 14 days, weekly maid service is included.
The rate does not include electricity.
Electricity is quite expensive on Roatan. So Instead of charging fees for laundry, A/C , and so forth, it is easier and fairer to charge to for electricity instead. We read the meter at check-in and check-out, subtract the allowance, and use the previous month's bill to determine the charge per kilowatt hour.
We found that including electricity in the price made people want to get their money's worth by leaving the A/Cs constantly on at full blast and every light in the place on. Not only is it eco unfriendly, it meant we had to tack on an extra $250 / week to the rental rate.
We have a fantastic year round breeze that comes straight through the condo if you leave the windows open. The master bedroom opens onto the balcony so you can leave the sliding glass door open and get a nice ocean breeze. The other bedrooms have screened windows that can also be left open. You might not even need A/C.
If you are energy aware (use the AC only at night, put your towels on the clothes line to dry instead of in the dryer, and turn off lights when not in use) I would say the electricity will be around $10 - $20/ day.
If you don’t use the AC, you most likely won’t go over the allowance.

Amazing stay in a great location
Was really happy with the unit and the location is amazing. Everything is walking distance and it's quiet enough that you don't ever realize that you are minutes away from the bars. Caroline was so helpful with recommendations and would definitely come back again

Beautiful views, great West End location
Beautiful condo, our family loved our stay here. Plenty of room, storage space, seating for 5. There were books on the shelves to read and the upstairs outdoor terrace was awesome...including a hammock! Bathroom needs cleaning up there though. Very relaxing. I would give 5 stars for a few extra amenities in the kitchen. We had to purchase paper towels/napkins, toilet paper, laundry soap, and there was no dishwasher soap, so rather than buying some, we just washed by hand. These are basics we have found stocked at other bookings. Also, the listing talks about taking advantage of the full ocean breeze to save money on the air conditioning. The breeze is wonderful and there are screens on most windows, but there are no screens on either of the two large sliding glass doors. That's where most of the breeze comes from. We kept them open in the daytime, but the bugs were too much for that at night. Otherwise we enjoyed it very much!

Perfect location. Condo met all our needs
We’d loved our stay at Mangrove Dock. It was in a perfect quite location of the West End with sunrise views of Mangrove Bight and sunset views of the ocean. Very close walk to West End restaurants, bars, and shops. Caroline was an exceptional host and very responsive to our questions. The condo was very well-stocked and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The balcony and rooftop were fabulous. The pool was very nice as well. Filtered water bottles were delivered to the condo entryway, so we never ran out. We met several people on the island who all talked about how wonderful Caroline, our hostess, is, and she did not disappoint! We will definitely be back! We found an incredible driver who took us all over the island while we were there. We did have a bit of a challenge finding the condo when we first arrived because there are no street names or addresses. Be prepared to tell the driver to take you to Mangrove Dock condos. Although the furniture and drapes were a bit worn, it suited our needs. You will not be disappointed in booking this condo.
