A welcoming retreat

We needed a place to stay for family members to stay while they were attending a celebration of life for their grandfather and great grandfather. The Huey Duck house was perfect.

Janice and her family are welcome back in a heartbeat! They left the Huey Duck House in excellent condition, we had very good communication throughout her stay before and after the reservation, they were clean, respectful, polite and followed all the Duck House rules. Nice kitchen, beds uncomfortable

The kitchen was nice and updated. The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets were not great quality. The sofa is "hard as a rock." Overall, it was a fine stay. Wouldn't seek it out for a second stay.

Hi Meg, I understood that you made this reservation for your two sons, ages 20 and 22, who attended the CU/Oregon game with their grandfather. I'm sorry to hear that your son's didn't like the sheet and the feel of the mattresses, but so far there have been no complaints from any previous guests. I'm not sure what type of sheets and mattress their were looking for. But the sheets and mattress were purchased at Costco. "Thanks for your feedback! It was a pleasure having your son's! GiGi~

Graduation

The unit is very clean, nicely appointed, and included a parking space and garage. It was great for a family. I’d suggest blackout curtains in the bedrooms for people who like to sleep in. It’s not in walking distance to town but only a 15 minute drive to campus. Very easy commute.

This property worked very well for our family on this trip. It was close to the family we were visiting and the event we were attending. The only real negative is the unit is pretty unappealing on the outside. The inside is a pleasant surprise. It was clean and had comfortable beds. The unit is compact, but with four adults and three children we were quite comfortable. We also expected it to be noisy because of how close is was to the main drag. Noise wasn't a problem either. All in all it worked out very well for us.

Kathy was a wonderful guest. Communication was excellent throughout her stay, and she was very polite and respectful. She took great care of the property and left everything clean and well maintained, as if it were her own home. We truly appreciated hosting Kathy and her family and would be happy to welcome them back anytime. We highly recommend Kathy to any host and would gladly host her again in the future. Huey happiness

What a lovely little space! We stayed here while moving our daughter for school. It’s very well equipped, and the use of the garage was wonderful. There is a bit of road noise for those who are sensitive to that. Overall, a great stay.
