Dunes Escape - Minutes from Indiana Dunes National Park

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us. We sincerely apologize that the gardener arrived at 6:30 AM during your stay. We understand how disruptive that must have been. We have addressed the situation immediately and will no longer be using that gardener moving forward. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as it helps us improve the experience for future guests. Thank you again for your understanding, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.

Dear Aniyah,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback following your recent stay at our property. We are pleased you enjoyed your weekend and found our home beautiful and accommodating for families. We strive to provide our guests with a comfortable and 5-star experience, and we take all reviews into consideration as they offer valuable insights for us to improve our service. However, we found some aspects of your review needing clarification, particularly regarding the scores for cleanliness, house rules, and communication. Firstly, as hosts, we prioritize maintaining a high standard of cleanliness for the comfort and safety of our guests. If you encountered any cleanliness-related issues, we would have appreciated specific feedback to help us address them effectively. About the house rules, we want to make sure that all our guests know about them before confirming their booking. The rules, including no covering of outdoor cameras and no smoking of cannabis, are intended to ensure the safety, privacy, and comfort of all our guests as well as the preservation of our property. We noticed during your stay that these specific rules were not followed. As hosts, we take these violations seriously, but in this case, we decided to extend grace and allow you to continue your stay. It was essential to address this with you as part of an open dialogue. On the topic of communication, we strive to be as communicative and responsive as possible to all our guests. During your stay, we maintained clear, timely, and above-and-beyond communication. If you experienced any shortcomings, we welcome your detailed feedback to help us improve. We value your opinion and are always open to constructive criticism. However, we also believe in a fair and balanced review process. We have contacted VRBO regarding this matter and provided them with our perspective and relevant evidence, as this review may not accurately represent your stay at our property. Despite these challenges, we are grateful for your visit and hope that your overall experience was positive. We would be happy to host you again in the future with a shared understanding and respect for our property rules. Best regards, Jake & Stay Haven Team
