Thank you for the wonderful review! We're so glad The Dunes Home was a great base for exploring the area — downtown Chesterton is such a gem and the Indiana Dunes National Park never disappoints! Thank you for such a warm and detailed review! We're so glad The Dunes Home worked well for your group and that the kitchen, patio and location all hit the mark. The gyro spot around the corner is a local favorite — great pick! We're sorry to hear about your teenager's fall on the stairs — we hope they're okay! We're looking into adding grip tape and improving the handrail to make them safer for all guests. We appreciate you flagging that. We'd love to welcome you and your family back anytime — country folks are always welcome here! 😄 — Eddi & the Sauve Stays Team

Thank you so much! I’m glad you had a great experience and appreciate your kind words. It was a pleasure hosting you, and you’re welcome back anytime!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review and the 5 stars! We're really glad the location, kitchen, backyard and beach toys hit the mark for your stay. You've raised some great points that we're actively addressing — the upstairs heat is something we're working on with a better cooling solution, and we're updating the listing to accurately reflect current amenities including the toiletries, travel high chair and gazebo so future guests have the right expectations from the start. We appreciate your grace in highlighting the positives alongside the areas for improvement. We hope to welcome you back and give you an even better experience next time! — Eddi & the Sauve Stays Team
