Cottage on Clover. Charming, quiet walk to town.

Built in 1939, our humble Cottage on Clover offers historic imperfections that are tales of the past. Entry to the home by keycode via side door. The code will be sent just before check-in. Clean linens (sheets and blankets) are always provided for each stay.

~ 0.9 mile/15 minutes walk to the lake and town through the beautiful Historic Maple District!
~ 8 min to Grand Geneva Resort & Spa
~ 18 min to Burlington
~ 20 min to Alpine Valley

Guests can enjoy the yard and deck outdoors, as well!

Beds: Sleeps a total of 6 guests
Bedroom 1 - King Bed
Bedroom 2 - Queen Bed
Sunroom - optional bedroom during warmer climates - Twin Bed & Couch (offered during warmer climates as it does not have HVAC)

Parking:
Driveway (albeit tight) offers parking for 2 vehicles, and there is street parking for more vehicles, but city requires vehicles to be moved every 24 hours.

Some things to note:
Yard is not fenced in but it has a partial privacy fence. Guests have access to multiple streaming services to use with their services. Cable is not offered.

To the left of the laundry machines was a former bathroom that is under construction, but will not impede guests from using the washer and dryer.

The home is a bilevel and has about 4 or 5 stairs getting into the home and/or lower area (rec/laundry).

Pets are provided blankets on the couches. However, we ask that they do not lay on the beds if possible. We ask that guests bring an enclosure while they leave their pets in the home.

We absolutely loved staying at this adorable and very clean home!! It was close to downtown shops, restaurants and we even went to the beach. We loved eating at the Next Door pub which the owners highly recommended. Their pizza was soooo delicious!! We would definitely stay here again!!

Great place for littles

Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect rental for us. Easy walk to downtown, plenty of room to chat comfortably and a good area for us to play games and puzzles. Very clean and felt at home.

Cottage vibes

Plenty of options for things to do and places to sleep if more than 4 people. Loved the patio area and used the grill. This was my 1st VRBO experience and Mariana answered all my questions right away.

Cozy spot in a great location

We had a great stay at the cottage on clover. It was clean, well-furnished, and comfortable. Being within walking distance of the beach and several great restaurants was a huge bonus. Communication with the owner was good as well. Highly recommended!

Cute, quaint and cozy. Quiet neighborhood and short walk to downtown and lake - 10 minutes. Host very attentive and responsive to our needs. Several restaurants within walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great spot for a girl's weekend!

Marianna was a great host! The house was cute but and well decorated and stocked. Walking distance to downtown and the lake. Can't ask for much more!

Great for a college mini reunion

My college roommate and I got together for the weekend in Lake Geneva and this was the perfect place to stay! Convenient location within walking distance of downtown, comfortable, well stocked kitchen. A+ all around!

Nice quiet time

Mariana’s place was kept up very well and the neighborhood was relaxing and quiet while being just a short drive or mile walk into town. We tried a bunch of Mariana’s recommendations for food and she steered us in great directions.

Awesome cozy cottage

Everything abouth this property was first rate! It was clean, well stocked with a very comfortable mattress and short walk to everything we wanted to do. Also our host was fantastic on communicating with us. We would definitely return!

Memorial Day Weekend

Clean and cozy bungalow. Host is very responsive and the home is stocked with all the needed amenities to guarantee a comfortable stay. 15 minute walk from downtown. Pet friendly. 5-star rating and experience.

Great Stay

Charming home, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, nice backyard, great location, delightful neighborhood & sweet neighbors. The front porch was a wonderful place to start & end the day. The pups loved walking the neighborhood. Didn’t have a use for the game room downstairs, but it would be a great place for a family.

It was wonderful and clean though there weren't any lids for the pots or a strainer for making pasta. Overall though it was an excellent experience

Thanksgiving Family Getaway

Cottage on Clover was wonderful!!! The house is walking distance from downtown Lake Geneva and the lakefront. The home is clean, cozy and was very spacious for our group of 4 adults and a small dog! It has space really to accommodate 6-8 people, although you would only have 1 bathroom to share. We spent our Thanksgiving holiday at the cottage and enjoyed the various amenities that it had to offer. A basement full of various games (pool table, dart board, air hockey table), we didn't watch any movies in the basement but there is a space to relax and watch dvd. We brought some since we saw that noted in the home's description. We additionally shared meals around the 6 seater dining room table, Utilized the kitchen to prepare various meals and snacks for the weekend together. The cottage has two bedrooms that have very comfortable beds. As a family we utilize the numerous streaming apps (you must have your own accounts to login to) and were able to watch sports. This particular weekend was the big Michigan vs OSU game and the FIFA World Cup games! Additionally there is WIFI and I was able to get some work done that I needed! We brought our 2yr old dog with us and he also enjoyed some amenities ( doggie bowls, snacks, and the large back yard to run around in). The weather was 50's so a bit chilly for me, but was perfect for walking around since the sun was out the weekend that we stayed at the Cottage. Our host was very attentive and checked in on us via the VRBO app, gave some recommendations for things to do and answered general questions quickly. Top starts to Mariana and her Cottage on Clover

We have been visiting Lake Geneva for decades. When we were able, we bought our own slice of heaven and we're having so much fun sharing it with our guests!

It's quiet and away from the summer and weekend noise, but a 15 minute walk or so to town and Geneva Lake avoiding the costly parking fees while enjoying the beautiful historic nearby nearby neighborhoods. We love that we can get a glimpse of the lake after one turn from our humble cottage and that we have a yard to ourselves when we want to stay back at our our house.

The home comes with original arched headers, doors and hardware. The basement is perfect for hanging out - The home is fun for all generations to enjoy.
