A lovely stay in Chia
Pros: The bedrooms are bigger than pictured, aircon works really well. Kitchen well equipped (although a bit small). Huge bbq and great patio overlooking Chia and the mountains which we sat out on all the time. Franco the host is super friendly and helpful, contactable by WhatsApp and very responsive. He even gave us a couple of gifts! There are a few restaurants in walking distance in Chia but booking advised. Great base for the beaches of southern Sardinia. Fantastic pool, cleaned every day 2 days. Pool towels and separate bathroom towels provided. Just a lovely peaceful stay.
Cons: Not huge negatives but should note that the beds are very firm (think this might be typical of Italy / Sardinia) - could be worth considering mattress toppers for them. The kitchen space has a sofa and dining table in it but isn’t really a lounging space, this was fine for us as we spent most time on the terrace, but again something to note if you are expecting lots of comfy sofas. Would be great to have hand soap provided in the bathrooms. None of this would stop us staying again though.
