About this space
Make memories at this unique dog friendly home- Woodhaven West. Our spacious cabin has 5,200 sq ft of living space & 15,000 square foot lot, walking distance to the lake. Enchanted wooded, enclosed backyard with a real running stream that kids love to explore. Two large patios - 1 w/ a gas bbq; 1 w/ a fire pit/seating. Flat driveway & level home entrance (no stairs to climb up/down upon arrival w/ luggage!). Main level: master bdroom w/ en suite bathroom. 3 bd / 3 ba in lower level. Short drive to the famous Lake Arrowhead Village w/ lake front restaurants/shops. Close to Sky Park @ Santa’s Village, Lake Gregory for boating, fishing, swimming, hiking and more. If you want to head up the hill to Big Bear for a day trip it’s also an easy drive and only about 20 miles away.

The entire home (all 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms), large backyard with Adirondack chairs & swings, 2 car garage & 3-car driveway (with basketball hoop!) is open to guests (with the exception of one owners closet & the bottom floor utility closet). Fully stocked kitchen. Two large patios have plenty of space for different activities…eating, drinking, yoga, watching the Blue Jays etc. Lake passes available for guests to access lake trails.

Other things to note
Woodhaven West has fun activities for the whole group…a swing set in the back yard for kids, Adirondack chairs near by to sit under the trees, a basketball hoop in the front, ping pong table and magnetic darts, several board games for the family, a gas bbq for grilling and a fire pit with surround seating to roast marshmallows and make s’mores. Then when you need to relax, lay on the hammock to take a quiet nap while listening to the birds...

It also has a whole house back-up generator in case the power in Lake Arrowhead goes out (which isn’t uncommon). Our power is restored within seconds. In many homes you will be left without power for hours until the utility company turns it back on (not fun!).

We had a wonderful stay. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. Layout of the house was terrific with two entertainment areas on the main and lower levels so the adults could be doing one thing while the kids could be doing something different. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook, bake, etc. The big round dining table was great for meals. Sadly we didn’t take advantage of the outside because of the weather but it would be great on nicer days with a kids play area, two big decks, games and plenty of seating options. The creek was a nice touch!! We enjoyed that our host decorated the house for the holidays with a lovely Christmas tree and plenty of other decorations and Christmas mugs for coffee and hot chocolate. Very homey! We hope to return to Woodhaven West!

Lake Arrowhead weekend getaway

We had a wonderful weekend. The house was large and roomy for the whole family. The kids enjoyed the backyard with the stream and swings. We also enjoyed the firepit with smores! Deidre was great responding to emails. I would highly recommend this home. Beautiful setting with lots of trees!

Great Location

The stay was wonderful. Communication between host was great and timely. Helped with all our questions and concerns. We had a total of 12 ppl in our party and there was plenty of space for everyone to hangout and sleep. Each room has their own bathrooms which was nice. The bunk beds were fun for the kids and the lake was so close by and easy to find.

Perfect vacation

This is a beautiful, family friendly property. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. We had a wide range of ages in our family group, and everyone had a fabulous time and found so much to do. We will return for certain. Our thanks to the owner for sharing her home with us!!

Beautiful house in the mountains

Our family stayed Friday thru Monday. 11 adults, a 2 year old and 1 pet dog. The house is lovely, well appointed and comfortable.

Beautiful home!

We had an amazing weekend at this home. The host was very attentive had a few snacks waiting for us and coffee stocked up. Home was very clean. Overall , this was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be coming back.

AMAZING HOME, Super clean and spacious

We had an amazing time with family. The backyard of this house is like a forest and the kids had a wonderful time. Overall the property was superb! Super clean, super spacious, the owner is the sweetest and checked in on us all the time. Will definitely be back again. Loved this house!

Exquisite Property!

Perfect in every way (both inside and out). Host was incredibly gracious. There were amazing little touches throughout the property. The most ideal, picturesque setting for a romantic, cozy weekend getaway for my husband and me. Can’t wait to rebook with our family and friends!

The Backyard Seals the Deal

We stayed here with family for my son’s 6th bday and we all loved the property. The house has such a great layout with massive living rooms on both floors. The house was clean, up to date, and was FULLY stocked with everything you could ever need (spices included). The best part, however, was the massive fenced in backyard with a creek, swings, fire pit, plenty of seating, and much more. We will definitely be coming back

Wonderful place

The owners were very kind and very attentive. We loved that the home was very clean and had the perfect blend of being updated yet still retained a wonderful mountain home charm. They were responsive to all our questions and genuinely seemed concerned about our experience. The home was beautiful and the owners were great. . I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Wonderful New Year Getaway!

We had an amazing time staying at this vacation home in Lake Arrowhead with our family and friends for New Year’s! The house was incredibly clean, spacious, and cozy—perfect for a large group. It had everything we needed, from plenty of kitchen appliances to games that kept the kids entertained.The patio and backyard were lovely, offering a great space to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Deidre was a fantastic host, and we felt so welcome during our stay. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to create unforgettable memories. Highly recommend and hope to return in the future!

Beautiful home for a group!

We stayed at this home for a 3-day trip with our extended family (12 people- adults, teens, and kids) and had a wonderful time! The home is beautiful and comfortable with lots of wonderful spaces to gather. It never felt crowded and there are so many great activities both indoor and outdoor to keep everyone happy. The yard is very special with an amazing water feature, nice decks for dining, firepit, swings, viewing spots for wildlife, etc. Deidre is a kind, responsive host and was available for any questions we had. It was a great home for our group- thank you Deidre!

Wonderful Winter land Home

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home and loved every minute of it. The host, Deidre, is fantastic! She truly cares about her guests and did a check- in mid stay to make sure we were happy and comfortable especially since we were not expecting so much snow! Deidre made sure to leave all of the extras for her guests( food, drinks, towels, clean sheets, etc.) to ensure our comfort and safety. We were in search of a cozy, spacious, accommodating home and it far exceeded our expectations. Our dogs loved it as well as they have never seen snow! What a blast that was. Our primary residence is only 2 hours away and we felt as if we were staying in another country. This was truly a treat and you will not find a better host than Deidre!

Beautiful home

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location with lots of space. This house is awesome for kids and adults, beautiful backyard for kids to run around in and also having lots of games to play inside. There is lots of patio space upstairs and downstairs and even a fire pit to sit around and relax. It rained the first night we stayed and there was a big extendable awning upstairs that stuck out over the table so we were still able to sit outside and enjoy the weather and scenery. The owner was always available to answer any questions I had at anytime of the day and always responded very quickly. Not being familiar with the area she also gave us lots of info on stuff to do around the area and different places to go which was very helpful. Between the beautiful home and excellent service from the owner I would definitely recommend staying here and checking it out, you wont regret it!! I will definitely be staying here again and hopefully for a longer stay next time.

WONDERFUL HOME! Perfect for our extended family vacation!

We LOVED this home! It's even more beautiful and perfect in person than the photos. We were so happy we stayed here - I just wish we had booked at least 3 nights. From the moment we walked in it felt warm & inviting. Deidre (the host) ensured we had an easy time accessing the home and was always available for any little questions. She was fantastic to work with. We arrived in the evening and it was super easy to find (no crazy curvey roads) - we appreciated the flat driveway and no icy steep stairs to climb up with luggage and small kids like many mountain homes have. The two levels with large separate living spaces was perfect for our group - adults upstairs making home cooked meals in the large fully equipped kitchen & watching sports, with the kids downstairs on the big comfy couch watching movies. We all LOVED the outside area - that is why you need to stay at this house. Most homes in Arrowhead only have patios, but this has 2 large gorgeous patios PLUS a big enclosed backyard with swing set for our kids & fun places to explore. My husband & I / friends spent several hours sitting in the Adirondack chairs under the tall trees in the backyard sipping wine. That was my favorite. The smells and sights were unforgettable. We then moved to the patio and sat around the fire pit making s'mores and drinking hot cocoa with the kids. As the evening went on we ended up in a ping pong competition. There are just endless ways to enjoy this home. There is something for everyone.

My husband and I love the fresh mountain air, lake views and nature walks with our 2 rescue dogs adopted from local animal shelters. We wanted a home away from home to spend time with our two teenagers and extended family / friends so we bought this wonderful cabin in the mountains and decided to share it with other families to help them make special memories as well. It’s been a wonderful experience and journey! We’ve loved being a part of helping other families to make special vacation memories.

We loved this upscale neighborhood for its close proximity to the lake and the lake views when taking walks, easy access roads (wider paved streets) that weren’t so windy and narrow (which is especially important during the winter snowy months). We loved the mature trees all around and easy drive to town for groceries, restaurants etc.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

1) Most homes in Lake Arrowhead only have decks or patios. Our home has a very large enclosed forested backyard with a running steam! It’s wonderful for kids and dogs. It keeps them entertained in nature for hours. Inside this backyard we have a swingset, a live running stream and an upper deck for some quiet time with your special someone or by yourself. That’s a large reason why people choose our home.

2) We also allow dogs as we are a dog loving family.

3) We have a wide flat driveway entrance, which makes it very easy and accessible. No steep stairs to climb when entering our home unlike many other mountain homes. When arriving in the evening or in snowy winter months this is especially important. There are no steep icy stairs to climb with luggage etc.

4) We have two separate living areas - so kids can be downstairs watching tv while adults can be upstairs in a totally separate area if desired.

5) We are walking distance to the lake.
