A beautiful and unbeatable view of the Gulf of Mexico awaits in this amazing beachfront home! Rolling waves meet white sands on this property where you can swim and surf all day and relax during the night. Perfect for groups or families, spending your time at this beach getaway will cause your cares to melt away. Drive into town to discover local eateries, arts, entertainment, and family-friendly attractions.

Upon entry, you'll be greeted with a bright interior and natural light, thanks to the many viewing windows. The living room invites you in to watch a movie night on the large TV above the fireplace. The open floor plan promotes togetherness and no conversation will be missed! Prepare grand meals and beach picnic snacks in the spacious kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and a floating island breakfast bar. The lovely main bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed and a luxurious en suite bathroom. The two guest rooms have access to a private balcony that overlooks the gorgeous view. The kids will love bunking down and making memories in the fun bunk beds. Dine alfresco on the spacious sun deck with comfy patio furniture, watching the amazing sunset.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We stayed 4 nights and 3 days. House was perfect accommodation. Location was perfect. Just out of the busy town, right on the beach with a beautiful view. Plenty of room for our family without feeling crowded. Plenty of room for parking. We had no issues or complaints about this house. Would definitely consider renting it again.

All was great! The door lock was a little difficult. But location was great! The house was beautiful and accommodating. Location was right on the beach and close to everything.

Great house, lots of room.

Large single story house. 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas, 3 bath. Worked out great. Back deck is very nice with lots of seating options. Beach didnt get too crowded even during peak season because its largely just the families in houses near you.

Amazing location

Overall it was a great property and we would return. The short walk through the sand to the beach was amazing, and we could walk back for snacks or potty breaks with our toddler quickly and easily. The only downside was that the deck could use some work. There were some rotting boards and spindles coming loose which worried us, having 2 little ones there. Also the garbage disposal did not work. We did try to call the number to report it on our first day with no answer or return call. Not a huge issue because we easily got by without using it, but it was full of small bits of old food (assuming from previous guests) that would gurgle up when the dishwasher ran. Otherwise the house was very clean and accommodated our 2 families (4 adults, 2 toddlers) very well.

Spring Break Stay at La Gloria

The house was not as clean as expected. Sand was in the floor upon arrival, stains all over the walls, sinks took forever to drain. The fan in the bunk bed room did not work and made an awful noise when you tried to turn it on. The outside furniture was okay…one set was old and worn in we were afraid to sit on it. Over all for the price I expected a more cleanly environment.

Beautiful House

The house is well maintained and exactly as described. We loved the decor and comfort of the furniture. The view from the great room and back deck is amazing. We could see dolphins jumping in the Gulf when we were sitting at the dining room table! We were pleasantly surprised that the parking is under the house so that our vehicles were protected in case of storms. The location was perfect for meeting up with my siblings and the spouses for a vacation, as we came from 3 different states. Since there were three couples, it was perfect that each couple could have their own bedroom with an adult sized bed and a bathroom, and there was sufficient parking for all of our vehicles. I needed to contact the property management to let them know about a couple minor of maintenance issues. I used the company’s app to text them, and they responded within minutes. The only potential issue for some guests might be with accessibility, as the only way into the house from the parking area is by way of a very steep set of steps up to the front door. Beach access is fenced off from the street, which is a good security measure, but the stairs up to the back deck and rear entrance to the house could also be an accessibility challenge. Overall the La Gloria house met all of our expectations. We could not have been happier with our experience staying there and would not hesitate to rent the house again.

Home was beautiful

The home was beautiful and in a great location. The only thing was we ran out of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, trashbags, and laundry soap. The kitchen had all of the utensils and pots and pans to cook, but no spices. Not even salt or pepper. Also the deck had a ton of railings hanging and falling off. We had 2 small kids so we had to watch them closely so they didnt fall off. Overall we had a great stay though!

Pleasant Surprise

We have had bad luck in past with cleanliness and overall upkeep of beach front rentals specifically. This far surpassed my expectations. My husband and I agreed we have not been to another VRBO rental that was this clean. My only negative is there were zero throw blankets in the home, so that would be a nice addition. The house is spacious and has beautiful gulf views. My toddler loved the bunk room and having his own space. We would love to stay here again, as it was the perfect size and location and very reasonable price.

Beautiful stay

Was a good location and a nice home. Appears to have been recently remodeled. There were no beach chairs nor beach towels provided. There are several nearby shops where these can be purchased. Not an issue for us but there is not a grill provided. Just fyi. Enjoyed our stay!

Lovely layout and location…with some areas for improvement

We really loved staying in this home! The layout was perfect for our little family and the location can’t be beat. Everything was clean on arrival and the check in/out process was very smooth. It’s worth noting some areas that could be improved upon, though, especially for families with young children as there are a number of safety issues on the property that would affect them in particular: - On our arrival we found two windows with corroded latches. The windows were two of the floor to ceiling windows so Littles who could get the windows open could easily just tumble out to the ground about 14 feet below. I called Vacasa 4 separate times about this and they did eventually send someone out who affixed a wooden block to prevent the windows from being able to be lifted, but it was a temporary solution and one that needs to be fixed in order to make this place (permanently) safe. - the other major safety issue we encountered was around the railings and balusters on the porch and stairs at the beachside. Several of them are rotted out. Ask my toddler, he found every single one that he could possibly fall through because it was broken and/or the screws were pulled out. There were probably about five areas that needed repair. Honestly, the deck is in really poor condition, as other reviewers also noted, and they should probably just rebuild it all together. But at the very least, it should be reinforced and made safer. - Speaking of which, the balusters on the deck are very wide. My 11 month old baby could crawl through them and fall to the ground if we hadn’t had a super close eye on him. my kids really know how to find safety hazards, don’t they? ;) - Home could really use some extras, such as beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, buckets etc. I understand that Vacasa is minimalist in what they offer in short term rentals, I am a STR host myself and I get it, but it is extraordinarily wasteful for those who fly in from out of town to have to go buy these things just for one week. - no string lights on porch as advertised (as also mentioned in other reviews from months ago.) some nice warm ambient lights, even solar lanterns, would go a long way at nighttime on the porch. Other than this, it really was an absolutely wonderful stay and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. We are so grateful to the owners were opening up their lovely home to renters!

Make a Memory!

A vacation should help you make memories, right? This house does just that. We loved the open floor plan, the deck overlooking the beach (the covered deck was especially appreciated on rainy days), the well-equipped kitchen and the two family rooms. The bedrooms are clean and nicely decorated. The house smelled good, was clean, and felt like "home" from the moment we arrived. Sure, there are a couple minor suggestions (which we've shared with Vacasa), but none of them detracted from a house that made it easy to enjoy a family getaway at the Gulf Coast. The location is excellent, the beach is literally just steps away, and the Vacasa team were helpful and responsive when we had questions. Go make a memory!
