Welcome to 503 Summer House! This beautiful 2 bedroom oceanfront condominium is tucked away in the gated community of Wild Dunes - a true, serene getaway.

The king master bedroom includes an updated en-suite and access to the oceanfront balcony, meaning you'll wake up to a view of the sea each morning. The second bedroom hosts a queen bed and a twin bed and an en-suite as well, and is separated from the master by the living room, dining area, and kitchen.

Enjoy the convenience of the community pool and pathway to the beach being just an elevator ride away. You'll also find the golf course nestled just across the road from the complex. Dining, shopping, and nightlife are all just a short car ride into the center of Isle of Palms. If you're craving a little history, take the 30 minute drive into Historic Downtown Charleston!

The combination of the recent renovations, coastal charm, and proximity to both the beach and the city leaves nothing left to be desired on your vacation. We look forward to hosting you soon!

Location was great. Had a little trouble with the door when we arrived but made a phone call and immediately got help to troubleshoot and get in. Condo was comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to get started.

Great Location

My family and I stayed here and loved the convenience of having the pool and the beach just a few steps away. The view from the deck was lovely and a great place to sit and relax.

Beautiful with great views. We loved the large covered patio and. The unit was spacious and well appointed. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and the host was generous with towels and all the extras needed for a great stay. Easy access to the nearly private beach. Be sure to check tide charts. The pool was fabulous when the tides were high, so you will not miss out on sun and fun time.

Good ocean views from balcony , bed was comfortable. Take your own towels and washcloths ,we had only one washcloth in master bathroom. TV in secondary bedroom did not have any cable or TV reception.

Relax and Enjoy

Overall impression was that this was an updated unit, very comfortable.The master bath had a musty smell which was reported as well as a sink which would not drain. Other than that, everything was perfect.

A quick trip

The condo is in a great location with beautiful views. It was clean, however the large silk plants in every room were covered with dust. We had a bit of trouble getting the digital lock to work, but the maintenance supervisor responded quickly. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Great condo and location in Wild Dunes!

This condo is in a perfect location within Wild Dunes. Stocked kitchen, plenty of room, with 2 large bedrooms each with own bathrooms. There is also a huge balcony with great ocean views. Highly recommend!

Well deserved vacation ❤️

I loved Sumner House I could just move right in and never leave. The condo was perfect for me and my sisters planning another trip for next year. I highly recommend this place i promise you, you won't be disappointed. We we're close to everything shopping dining anything you needed it was there.

BIRTHDAY TRIP

This was a trip for my moms 75th bday, the property was great. check in and check out were very easy. being right on the beach was what my mom requested and the condo did not disappoint. would recommend sweetgrass to anyone looking for a great location to stay.

Fun trip

Unit was very comfortable and nicely equipped. Summer House is a great location and the the Wild Dunes community is top-notch. Unit's top floor position made views particularly lovely. It was a great stay!

Property & view were great. The parts that were NOT great were around some essentials the homeowners/mgmt skimp on. ZERO spices & I mean ZERO. No salt & pepper or non-stick spray. Nothing. No trash bags. No extra TP or Kleenex. We bought a lot left there to pay it forward AND we were traveling by plane, not roadtripping in SO keep that in mind. - Not all of your guests are able to bring in these ESSENTIAL supplies.Management company was good about addressing two issues in a timely manner, including a broken garbage disposal that caused a leak under sink.

Beautiful Comfortable Beach Property

Beautiful beachy decor and pleasing colors. King bed was as comfortable as our own at home. Not exactly what I call oceanfront but oceanview…a very good oceanview but I do prefer being able to see OF snd like the sun to shine on balcony at least part of the day. Few items to make someone aware of:Deadbolt on front door not working Door of second bath would not lock going into second bedroom Refrigerator making noise my husband felt indicated it may be dying Sliding door from living area would not lock

Our winter getaway

Everything looked nice. There were, however, a few issues we discovered. They didn’t have any paper towels for us or dishwasher cleaner so we had to make a trip out to get those things. We noticed a lot of the dishes and silverware looked dirty so we wanted to wash and sanitize those! The description said those things would be available in the condo. Otherwise, it’s a great location with a lovely view!

Hate to leave tough reviews, but honesty is the best policy. The unit was not in great shape. The screen to the deck was broken, the windows really didn’t open well, half the outlets were broken or not”n-functional, the batteries in the TV remote and one of the two smoke detectors were super low or dead, a couple cabinets in the kitchen were loose, the light in the master bathroom flickered for about 2 minutes when turned on, the master bath sink didn’t drain well, there seemed to be a slow leak below the kitchen sink, and there was no soap when we first arrived!Points to Sweetgrass properties for delivering soap the next day, so high marks for that. I’m sure they would have addressed some of the other stuff too, but no one wants to be the inspector for the rental company on their vacation.Again, it stinks to leave tough reviews, but even a basic inspection of the property and maybe a few hundred dollars in repairs (except for the electrical issues which could potentially be significant) would solve this and make the unit acceptable. If you have a choice in the building try Avant Stay. We stayed with them in the unit next door last year and everything about their unit and their service was great. They even threw in a bunch of free rentals (chairs, wagon, umbrellas, towels) for the beach.The building location overall is great, but buyer beware on this particular unit—as it needs some work.
