Actually, we never stayed. When we arrived, after figuring out our unit entered through the back, we couldn't make the code work. We tried reaching the owner to no avail. After about 30 minutes, we called VRBO and had to endure hard-to-understand customer service folks who had no authority to help without my reading them the riot act. We had to take a video of trying to get in, then waited another eternity before getting them to agree to put us up for the night in a downtown hotel since they couldn't reach the owner either. After tons of prodding I also got VRBO to agree to continuing to pay for our stay if we didn't hear from the owner by 9 a.m. the next morning. As you can guess, we did not hear from the owner, but I then had to deal with another hour of wranging VRBO to do the right thing, What was supposed to be a leisurely weekend after a stressful week just turned into more stress. As suspected, we never heard from the owner and VRBO did put us up after far too much annoyance. I finally heard from the owner this morning after we had checked out of the hotel. On a good note, VRBO paid for the hotel and is in the process of refunding our . I worried I was going to have to fight for that. I've never experienced anything like this before and don't want any of you to have such an experience, which is why I am saying stay far away. It may look nice from the photos, and it may be nice... but why create more stress in your life!

Not what we had hoped for

Definitely disappointed in our stay after having high hopes that maybe this would become a go to for us, since we travel to Winston Salem every 8 weeks or so. 1) We were given the wrong code to get in 2) Which meant spending a bunch of time on the phone with support and trying to reach the property manager which caused us to have to wait a few hours to get in the property. 3) One of the bed rooms wasn’t even cleaned after the last person stayed, the property manager did offer to have the cleaning person come back out. 4) No hand soap to wash your hands after using the restroom. 5) No toiletries provided I am not normally one to complain and if it was one of any of these issues I probably wouldn't have even mentioned it, but when you combine all of them together, very disappointing.

Nice property

The house was exactly as it was described. I was happy to see there was parking available. We were very comfortable and had what we needed. Although it was just me and my husband, there was plenty of room if you had additional family or friends with you.

Very pleased with this property. Just needs a few tweeks

Great location in a nice quiet neighborhood. Close to shopping and food. The OmegaHouse is 2 minutes away and was great for breakfast and inexpensive. Quick easy access to highways. The WiFi worked fine on our phones and laptops but it would not connect to the TV. Not sure if it was out of range or just an issue with the smart Tv's hardware. Also there were no clear instructions about where to enter the property. We arrived after dark and I felt awkward looking around for a door with a keypad. The parking is out back and the door we were supposed to use was not lit up, and the keypad was wireless and located on the door frame not the knob. Never seen one like that before so I assumed it was a camera at first glance, so I walked up the step to check the second level. This one had a keypad above the know but the code didn't work. I guess the owner lives there? Or rents it out? Then I made a closer inspection of the previous door and made it inside! It would be helpful to put a laminated sign that says "Welcome Renters" or something like that. Also mention in the listing that you get the whole First Level. And Enter out back. Also, I didn't receive the entry combination until about an hour after I sent a message to the owner asking for it, (which was about an hour after check-in time). Usually they send it multiple hours before check in. Thankfully we were still multiple hours away and I didn't wait until we got there to check the app for the code. But once we figured it out, everything was gravy. Kitchen is well stocked with basic cooking supplies and seasonings. Brita filter in the fridge. Beds were comfy. . Soft sheets and towels. Nice big shower. The extra half bath was a nice addition. Comfy couch. Also I didn't receive the entry combination until about an hour after I sent a message to the owner asking for it, (which was about an hour after check-in time) thankfully we were still multiple hour away and I didn't wait until we got there to ask! Great experience overall. Just needs a few wrinkles smoothed out!
