I walked him through the large living room and the wine cellar, and we expressed that if anything else was needed, we were more than happy to help. He kindly accepted our offer at the time. Regarding your request to cancel the second night, it was made on the same day, and as outlined in our cancellation policy, we require a 48-hour notice. Unfortunately, this is why we were unable to grant a refund for that last-minute cancellation. We understand that this may have been frustrating, but please know that our policies are in place to ensure fairness for all guests. We feel that this review reflects a larger concern with the cancellation rather than your actual stay, and we would have hoped you would have addressed these issues with us during your stay. If the stay had been truly unsatisfactory, we are curious why the feedback was shared only upon check-out.
