Beautiful spacious house perfect for large group

Martha was an amazing host and responded quickly to questions. House is beautiful, very spacious, lots of room and beds/bathrooms. Perfect for a big group!

Amazing host!

Martha was an absolute pleasure to work with. Communication was great throughout the entire time. She was so accommodating and hospitable for our group during our stay. House is clean and well kept. Room set ups are great - especially the dual masters with bunk rooms. Perfect for sleeping a large group. Hope to be back next year!

Good stay. Neighborhood not great. AC was not on when we got there. Some things could be a lot better. House is really nice. Communication could be better.

Yes i deeply apologize for not having the air on upon your arrival. It's definitely a developing neighborhood, lots of new homes. Sorry about the trailer homes that remain in the area. But im glad you enjoyed the home! That is our ultimate goal. Communication was great! Im sorry if I had to send reminders on venue being off limits. You guys were great and seemed like girls had a blast on the spacious back yard! Safe travels

Best place to stay for a local wedding

Our son was getting married in Cleburne and we wanted a place large enough for my family including my parents, sister’s family, and aunt’s family. This place is ideal for gatherings and we loved the large kitchen/ living area just to kick back and chat. Everyone was able to get ready with ease. Again very comfortable, although a bit off the road. But worth it. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Open spaces, lots of room, and lots of opportunities for improvement

Please read the whole review: The Good - Lots of space around the kitchen/living room/dining room. Four full bathrooms, as advertised, is a must with this many people as we had staying there (25), some good space around the house for getting outdoors (loved the firepit), tons of toys available for kids. The toys were a huge hit, and was significant bonus for those traveling from far away with small children. At our request, the host was kind enough to allow us to enter the home earlier than the advertised start time. The Bad - There wasn’t a pack n play available as the listing explicitly said there would be. After reaching out to the host we learned it had been broken for an unspecified amount of time. But worse than the lack of advertised sleeping arrangements is the fact that not all of the beds were clean. Several sheets had obvious dirt and even a streak of mud on them under the top sheet. When we discovered this we immediately stripped all the beds and washed the sheets ourselves. (Unfortunately, the host balked when we requested a refund of the cleaning fee.) We also didn’t receive instructions on how to enter the home until an hour after our arrival.

This is a perfect example of how essential is it to communicate your wants and needs with your host from the beginning. This allows us to prioritize the most important essentials. Communication through the stay is just as important, particularly when the cleaning is not up to standard. Document and share the findings, Give the host the opportunity to address or agree on a solution. In this case, I wished the bed situation would have been pointed out right away and not the day after,

I’m not sure where to start… I was in town for a celebration of life. Waiting for the checkin information, she was late sending it. Very unusual for VRBO hosts. Then shortly after I arrive at the property, I get a text from her telling me that she will have people “touring” the property over the weekend. Ummmmm, I’m sorry, what?? I’m hear with my small children, not cool. The house states it was two king bed suites (false). The house has one king bed and the other room has a king headboard with a queen mattress. The beds in this property were stiff as a board. So hard that I literally checked to make sure it wasn’t a box spring I was sleeping on. Sheets were stained, as were the towels. The house was FILTHY. When I say FILTHY, I mean it. It smelled like vomit and fried food. There were splatters all over the walls, baseboard and furniture. Some of the rooms had large holes in the walls or sliced up drywall. Missing baseboards throughout. The doors were broken as if someone punched them. Everything was broken. The fridge and freezer had broken handles. Dishes were dirty in the cabinets. Pots and pans were falling apart. It lists the kitchen as fully loaded, could be further from the truth. The cabinet had old used fry oil in them, expired food and empty salt shakers. It was a very cold weekend (15 degrees at night). The heater could not keep the house warm. The water heater also could not produce enough hot water. This house felt like a neglected college dorm. Too trashy!

Im stunned at the review after the fact. Wished something would of been communicated during the stay. I would of most certainly addressed. I apologize if your stay became sour after I reminded the you the Event Center in the back was off limits and no one has permission to enter (after camera captured your guest going in). I understand kids are curious but my team was working inside, and yes we had potential clients going to see the venue, which has a completely different entrance on a completely different street. No interference with the actual airbnb. Aside from this hiccup, you guys were great as my review reflects. Didnt imagine my request to not enter the venue would come with such sabotaged review. Anyhow the kids seemed to have had a great time in their play area!

Muy Buena Comunicacion y la propiedad excelente para la Familia

Martha y su Esposo fueron excelentes anfitriones hicieron hasta lo imposible por que mi boda y mi fiesta saliera como planeaba, la casa fue estupenda pude tener a todos mis seres queridos conmigo, la casa es muy espciosa y tranquila, Gracias y lo recomiendo muchisimo, me quede encantada sin duda volvere a reservar mas estadias aqui :)
