"The Villa" - Private Cottage with Views & Shorefront

This private, comfortable camp sits on a hill overlooking scenic Roberts Harbor on the east side of Vinalhaven island. A wooded, single-lane road opens to a clearing where this one-level, shingled camp awaits with its pretty ocean vistas and 400' of secluded, picturesque shoreline. Visitors are treated to ocean views from the family room, dining area, kitchen, and two ocean-side bedrooms. The master bedroom has a cathedral ceiling and its own bathroom with shower. One guest room has three twin beds. The smaller guest room has one twin bed. Newly renovated kitchen.

Enjoy your morning coffee or a good book on the front deck. From there, you'll likely see ospreys and bald eagles cruising by overhead. A very short walk takes you to the shore where you can sit and enjoy more of what makes Vinalhaven like no other place on earth.

Vinalhaven boasts the largest lobster fleet in Maine. Pick up some fresh lobster in town for a dinner to remember. Take a leisurely walk (town is just 1.5 miles away). Bring a picnic to Lane's Island Nature Preserve with its pristine, protected shoreline. Watch the busy fisherman at the docks while enjoying casual dining in town. Come get away from it all.
