We enjoyed our stay at Tillery lake. It was peaceful, relaxing and we will definitely be back!! We have stayed at other Vrbo properties, but Tillery has been the nicest so far. Thank you Kristen for your rapid response and allowing us to stay at your home!!

Tillery Time is just what our family needed- we were in town for a long weekend/whirlwind of pre-wedding, wedding, and post-wedding events. The house was a relaxing and fun respite each morning and evening as we returned. Such a peaceful and beautiful setting. Our adult children and their spouses enjoyed the outdoor living room, game room with pool and ping pong tables, and the video arcade machine with a multitude of games! We also used the kayak and paddle board and played some board games. The owner graciously let us enter a little earlier as we had flown in the same day as the wedding rehearsal- what a relief to be able to get ready and not feel rushed after long airline flights. We would certainly come back! A perfect spot for us!

Enjoyed privacy and quiet of this property in the off season. Cabin was comfortable and clean. Might not be suitable for young children or the elderly that canā€™t negotiate the numerous stairs to the water.

House was incredible and exactly as described. Host was a great communicator after we had a few questions on how to reset stuff due to an incredible lightning storm that caused power surges. The house sits in a great Cove with deep water and a very functional boat dock that we fully utilized. We plan to book again on our next trip to the lake. We would recommend this house and host to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the location in the quiet cove. Plenty of items to use. The grandkids had fun learning to use the kayak and paddle board. Fishing was a big hit. We all felt at home at lakefront retreat.

Relaxing Getaway

The house is exactly as described and more! I couldnā€™t believe how many ā€œwater toysā€ came with the house. The mattresses/bedding in every room were very comfortable. We had friends staying on the main part of the lake and the water was really crazy with the holiday weekend at their rental so it was so nice to retreat back to calm waters in the cove! Plenty of space to dock our boat as well. We will definitely rent this house again!

Quiet cove lake house

We had a great 3 day getaway at Lake Tillery. The lake house was perfect and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the dock and outdoor amenities were exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for sharing your place.

Ideal family getaway!

We spent a wonderful, relaxing week at this property with our 2 boys, ages 8 and 10. The house is beautiful and provides so many ammenities! The kayaks, life jackets, paddle board, fire pit, arcade table, pool/ping pong table...you felt like you didnt have to leave the property for anything! The boys loved the spiral staircase too! The location is so quiet, peaceful, and relaxing, and the lake is gorgeous. The host promptly responded to any communcation. We highly, highly recommend this property!

Awesomeness

The house was beautiful and very clean. Sitting in the screened in porch was so relaxing and the view of the lake was breathtaking. We used the fire pit and enjoyed the evening breeze from the water. Wonderful Weekend Stay

We traveled to spend the weekend and attend our sonā€™s Senior Day lacrosse game at a nearby university. This property was just as advertised and gave a place to briefly host some of our sonā€™s teammates and. parents after the game before heading out to a celebration at nearby Uwharrie Brewing Company. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay again.

Peace and Quiet

I messaged Kristen the morning after getting in late. I described to her how happy I was to be sitting on the porch facing a beautiful view surrounded by a canopy of tall native trees. Spring was just around the corner and the birds were perched on their limbs, singing their glory that the cold grey winter was at its end. I sat quietly, listening to natureā€™s morning whispers as I held onto my piping hot coffee. As the day went on, our family awoke and we made meal after meal, played games, pool and enjoyed our paceman tournaments. We read, watched movies, hiked local trails and explored the small towns. Although not in its active season, we enjoyed the immense quiet and peace of the lake house and its surroundings.

Perfect little get away

This was the perfect little getaway. We had everything we needed, the kids had so much fun at the dock and in the lake. There was plenty of space and seating for our family and my daughterā€™s family. We enjoyed playing cards and having dinner on the screened in deck. The game room was perfect for the rainy times. All in all it was perfect for our time with our kids and grandkids.

house was great, views were great, amenities were great, communication with host was great. nothing but 5 stars all around. had a great spring break getaway with our older teens. quiet cove, quiet neighborhood, quiet neighbors. everything you need is on siteā€¦ like being at home. i dont have one negative thing to say. i could go on and on about how great it was. we will be staying here again.

We loved our stay. Owner was very responsive and house was in a great location. Would be a PERFECT location for riding UTVs in Uwharrie. Look forward to booking in warmer weather so we can enjoy the lake and some Tillery time!

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL HOME AT LAKE TILLERY.

My family and I have been visiting Lake Tillery for many years. It is one of our favorite lakes. We have finally found a house that exceeds our expectations. We stayed for only 3 nights but we will return. My husband fished from the dock and had very good luck and so much fun. My kids really enjoyed the game room. The arcade was fun and fabulous. The ping-pong table and pool table were excellent. The house is spacious, comfortable, warm, everything was extremely clean. The beds have been the most comfortable beds we have ever had. We all slept great. The kitchen is spacious with everything you need to cook your meals. It has a wonderful view of the lake. Nice TV's and many spots to relax around. Everything is spectacular and we want to return very soon. Thanks to Kristen for sharing your sweet home with us. You are so kind and so wonderful. šŸ’— sharing your house with us.
