Watch the stars at this unique and tranquil getaway. The property is on nearly 10 acres with spectacular views. Relax in the hot tub and enjoy the panoramic view.

There are three bedrooms and 2 full baths. The tv's have Dish TV and there is satellite Internet service.

The kitchen has all the cookware and utensils needed to prepare meals.

Complimentary breakfast items included.

The outside has a gas grill with two covered picnic tables.

Parking is large enough for an RV.

Only 20 minutes frome the Joshua Tree National Park entrance, 15 minutes from downtown Joshua Tree, and 12 minutes to Tortise Rock Casino.

Beautiful home about 20-30 min from Joshua Tree National Park entrance. The coffee cart was much appreciated: they had pods, grounds, and tea available. Sunrise was beautiful from the front porch. Showers had good water pressure & temperature. Kitchen was well-equipped. We had a little hiccup with check-in only because the guests before us evidently left late with a big mess, so the house wasn’t ready until an hour after we arrived, but that wasn’t the owner’s fault. This is a great spot for people who want to be in a quiet area of the desert!

This was an amazing stay and definitely somewhere we'd love to make our way back to in the future.We had a total of 6 students with us, and were making our way back to California. This was the perfect midway stop (not too far from Joshua Tree).Robert, our host was super responsive and easy to communicate with.Apple Maps initially brought us to the wrong location, but once we found our way, it was super easy to check in and get settled in.We absolutely loved the decor and layout of the place. The bunks were perfect for having all our male students stay together, with our female students getting the other rooms.The jacuzzi with the view of the stars (as well as the hot water shower next to it) was definitely a highlight! Thanks so much for the nice stay.

We had a wonderful, relaxing night at this beautiful, comfortable home. We made s’mores over the fire pit and enjoyed the hot tub and hammocks. We wish we’d stayed another night. It was a quick, easy drive to Joshua Tree NP in the morning. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at a fully stocked, family-friendly house. We knew right when we walked in that it was the right place, when we spotted the "Weird California" book. We happened to be there during a full moon, so the outdoor seating and hammocks were wonderful for nighttime views of the sky. Tip: look for the hammocks during the day as they're a ways back. If you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the resident roadrunner in the morning. The hot tub was great after long days hiking at nearby Joshua Tree, or not-so-nearby Mojave. Everything you need is there - cookware, dishes, laundry supplies, towels (both bath & "beach"), toiletries. . . Even coffee and spices. I usually only look for bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, and kitchen/dining situation, so the coffee bar was an unexpected bonus.Although the host mentioned the internet being "spotty" it was great for us. A little slow, but worked fine even for the virtual work meeting that one of us had.There's a cleaning service for the hot tub, which occurred while we were there. The people cleaning it were very friendly and also asked if we needed anything. The host was also very communicative and available to respond to any requests/questions. Check-in and out were very easy.

Nice, Quiet Property

Really enjoyed the property. Far enough out to be away from any hustle and bustle but convenient to restaurants, etc. Very clean, well stocked. Friendly host. Convenient to North and West entrances to JTNP. Well worth staying at.

How could we fall in love in one night!

I don’t know, but we did! Everything was perfect for us, and our large family. We love trying new places but if we visit Joshua Tree again we will certainly be staying here!

Comfy home and spectacular stars

Our family had a wonderful stay. The house had everything necessary to prepare meals at home - we cooked, we grilled, we had smores over the firepit. The hot tub was great, even in the cold. And the stars were spectacular at night, as described, though we never figured out how to work the telescope properly. D Robert was great - easy to communicate with and extremely responsive. Loved our time here - wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful Home in Remote Area with Great Host!

We loved our stay here. We were a family of three (Mom, Dad, and 3-year-old) from LA plus a family friend coming from NorCal. Booking and communicating with the host were very easy. The house and grounds was fantastic, comfortable, and well-stocked, including the kitchen (utensils and appliances), bathrooms (toiletries and towels) and living areas (games/toys and bedding). The host answered all of our questions promptly, gave clear instructions, and even provided some food items to welcome us. The stars at this location are great, and sitting by the fire, or around the grill, or in the hot tub made this a great place to relax outdoors. It is very remote, but there are a couple of neighbors who you may hear a bit, but we didn't have any issues with them or them with us. I highly recommend this property, and may even make it my go-to spot in the area if I'm ever back around!
