Our condo, The Gathering Place, is located within Sandpiper Cove. Sandpiper Cove, located on beautiful Holiday Isle in the heart of Destin, is a private gated community only one to two blocks away from the grocery store, drug store, movie theater, variety stores, restaurants, and attractions. In fact, one of Destin's premier restaurants (Louisiana Lagniappe) is on the premises and only steps away from our front door.

Sandpiper Cove Resort offers you more amenities than any other resort on the Emerald Coast, with 43 acres of fun for you and your family! Amenities abound, including boat ramp, marina, docks (Boat Docking on site at additional cost), 24-hour security, six lighted tennis courts, five pools (two heated), three hot tubs, and a FREE 9-hole par 3 golf course.

Sandpiper Cove has gated private beach access, private parking, and a pavilion on the beach with a full service snack bar. The beach offers sailing, para-sailing, jet skis, and ocean kayaks. If you visit just once, you will understand why we call it our PARADISE home away from home.

The Gathering Place is a Two Bedroom-Two Bath unit located on the canal and a short walking distance to one of the most beautiful beaches in the U.S. If you love sugar white sands, emerald blue water, and swaying palms, you'll love our location. We offer Free Beach Service set-up that includes two chairs and an umbrella (March-October).three TVs, Free Wi-FI, one DVD player, washer and dryer, central heat/air, and a balcony directly on and overlooking the canal. Park your car at our front door and park your Boat or Jet Ski at our back door.

Don't worry about what you forgot to bring. From beach chairs, sand buckets, coolers, and condiments, we have thought of everything a family like yours may need.

Read a book or watch a movie from our personal selection while the kids fish or crab under the balcony .

Watch the sunset, then wander down to one of the hot tubs while the kids enjoy a swim before bed or play a round of shuffleboard.

Our favorite place at Sandpiper Cove!

Always love staying here! The owners are always so generous and helpful. Everything you need is in the condo. Our children love playing with the sand toys.

Another Great Vacation!!

This is our very favorite property in Destin! The property has everything we need and is always so clean and tidy. The hosts are very responsive and easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to come back next year!!

Perfect condo for our family

Our family loves Sandpiper Cove and love staying in this condo. It has everything we need beach chair set up, 5 pools. My son amd i love the par 3 course. Can't wait to cpme back.

Great vacation

We had a great time! Had everything we needed, my son loved fishing off the back porch, my kids loved the pickleball courts and the umbrella/chair set up was great! Do want to add the master bed is pretty firm for those who prefer a softer bed. Thank you!

This was our second time staying at Sandpiper Cove. The beach is beautiful and just a short walk away. This condo worked well for us. We love having beach equipment available. This was our 2nd stay at sandpiper cove, but first at this condo. We enjoyed it so much and hope to come back in the future. Condo was well stocked with everything we needed and more, as well as very clean. Perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed feeding the fish and ducks everyday from the patio and watching the boats come and go. Sad to leave, thanks for a great stay.

Great Location and Relaxing Stay

As always, our visit to this condo was the highlight of the summer. It is a great location, well-appointed, and the hosts are great to deal with when you have questions. We have easy access to everything- close to a pool, a nice restaurant 100 yards away, and the beach is just a short walk.

Awesome as always!

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely loved it again. We were able to fish the canal, reserve our beach spot every morning, and cook for our kids with ease. All necessities are there for you. We will definitely stay here again because it’s our favorite place to stay at Sandpiper Cove!

Great Location and Great Condo

This condo is in a great spot for beach and restaurant access. The condo has a lot of space for a family and is well stocked with helpful items in the kitchen and plenty of beach toys in the closet. Coming here is always a great experience and the owners are easy to communicate with if anything comes up.

Annual family beach trip

This is our second time staying in this condo we love it! The location is perfect for the beach and everything we love to do when we visit. My favorite is sitting on the back deck in the mornings and evenings. Everything is clean, well taken care of, easy check in and check out. We’ve already starting panning for next year! Highly recommend this condo!

Clean, Convenient, and Great Location

We've stayed here for three years straight and have always had a great experience. The condo is clean, quiet, and well-appointed, and the location is convenient to everything we wanted to do while there. The beach setup is a very nice inclusion and being able to get lunch without leaving the beach is a good perk, Rick's Sand Trap is located right on the beach and has good food. This is our favorite place to stay in Destin, a lot to love about it.

Family Beach Week 2024

We are repeat tenants at this condo because we had such a great experience last time. The hosts made everything so easy and we were very comfortable our entire stay!! Great Place!

Bruce, we really enjoyed our vacation at The Gathering Place. Your condo was very clean, comfortable, and homey. All the little extras from the kitchen supplies to beach supplies helped make the vacation fun. We really enjoyable watching the boats coming in and out of the canal from the deck. Cute and convenient place!

We really enjoyed staying in your condo! It was conveniently located between all our favorite restaurants and the beach. Everything was fully stocked, the condo perfect for our family. We loved having the back balcony as well. Our girls loved feeding the fish. We even saw a turtle our last morning! We discovered the local market across the street which had an excellent breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!

Great time in Destin

Comfortable condo in a great location. Short drive to shopping and restaurants. Also just a 5-10 min walk to the beach. The daily beach chairs and umbrella set up included was a nice touch. Especially since we flew down and couldn’t bring our own chairs. Also appreciated the closet with other beach items. Overall we had a wonderful time in Destin! Thank you!

This Condo Felt Like Home!!

We had a week vacation together with extended family and loved this condo. The entire rental process was easy and seamless!! The condo was very neat and tidy and felt so much like home. My kindle croaked while we were there and I was so thankful for the book selection, because how can you go to the beach and not read?? We had a great time and when we figure out our dates for Summer 2024 we will book this condo again!!
