With 1100' of deeded beach access, you can enjoy the stunning emerald water and sugar white sand without having to fight the crowds at public beaches. Hang out in the shade at the Rick's SandTrap beachfront bar and enjoy drinks and food while you watch the waves crash. For those that enjoy the harbor, you can access the Destin Harbor right from the canal and marina in Sandpiper by boat or paddleboard. Louisiana Lagniappe is located within 200 yards of the unit and you can enjoy fine dining and happy hour right overlooking the Destin Harbor and SPC marina. It's been voted Tops in Destin many years, and is one of the best hidden secrets in Destin.

Our unit also looks directly over the pool, so you can watch the kids right from the balcony chairs with no worries. And Sandpiper is a gated resort, as well, for your safety. Our unit is a short walk, or drive for those who prefer, to the gated private beach access that is fully equipped with Tiki Bar and restrooms. And enjoy your coffee or a few drinks with a view of the pool! Walk out from the unit and directly onto the 9th hole of the par 3 pitch and putt golf course at Sandpiper and play all day for free!

The HarborWalk Village is just a few stoplights away, so you can be there within minutes. Or simply ride the Harbor Taxi from the dock/marina in Sandpiper and leave the car behind while you enjoy the nightlife on the harbor!

Be sure to take the short walk or quick drive to the end of Gulf Shore Drive and enjoy some time on Norriego Point. It's a secret gem in Destin that many don't know about. It offers secluded jetties with quiet water that is perfect for snorkeling and for the little kids. Or you can park your beach chairs on the harbor and spend the day watching the largest commercial fishing fleet in Florida come in with the day's catch while the sun begins to dip.

If you need supplies, you can access Target, Walgreens, McDonalds, etc just outside the resort and without fighting any of the Hwy 98 traffic.
