The property is approximately 2 hours from NYC. The house is situated on 5 acres along the Neversink river. The front of the property has a private 1100' beach front with a view of a mountain and open sky from the rear ( great for star gazing). In the process of being renovated ( 85% complete), this 100 year old house has a nice sized kitchen with new appliances, 1 full bathroom, 1 half bathroom with washer /dryer, a cozy living room, dining room, study and 2 connecting bedrooms, on the first floor. The second floor has 2 bedrooms that come as part of the rental package. An additional 5 bedrooms are available upstairs for a separate fee per person. There is plenty of parking space. The house is 5 miles from the towns of Rock Hill and 6 miles from Monticello, respectively, where you can find groceries, gas and restaurants at either location.
No smoking or pets. You will have the house to yourself.
The price listed is for 4 persons/4 bedrooms.

*Additional persons are an added $25.00 per person per night.
Maximum persons at 10 people.

Sweet spot

The private beach at the home was great, so relaxing, bald Eagle flew right over us, tubes to float in river. Home was very large, clean and well stocked with essentials. Beds were very comfortable, loved the back deck and huge yard to hang out on. We really enjoyed our time here while visiting for concert at Bethel Woods.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely farmhouse located on the Neversink River. It is the perfect place to unplug and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. The children had a fun time catching tadpoles and minnows in the river and floating down the river in their tubes. Every evening we watched the groundhogs and deer come into the yard. The house had plenty of games for us to play in the evenings. During the day we explored the Catskills. Hiking to waterfalls, riding a railcar, and going to the indoor water park. It was a great family vacation and we will surely be returning to do more exploring.

Great stay- loved the river!

Thanks for a great stay. The river was so peaceful- we even saw a beaver family while enjoying the water. There was plenty of room for our big group.

Very nice family place.

A wonderful family gathering place for our special event. Went tubing on the river, saw bald eagles diving there, and visited somewhat nearby cascading falls. A place reminding us of how we lived a number of decades ago; a pleasant place and pleasant surroundings. Also, importantly, thoughtful hosts providing special contributions for the reasons we all gathered. Enjoyed everything.

Stay during trip to Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center

My family and I came to stay here for two days to attend a concert in Bethel Woods. The town itself where this home is located does not offer much. It took us about 45 minutes to get to Bethel Woods. The home is situated near a beautiful riverfront, which we had access to and enjoyed. Unfortunately, our trip was hampered when my husband and daughter were attacked by many wasps (they each have about ten wounds from stings) when they sat on the nest that is attached to the bottom of the wooden bench swing on the property. In that general area where you will see chairs and a fire pit in the picture, there are wasps swarming around. We tried to destroy the nest with insecticide and by physically knocking it off the swing, but it regrew the next day. We brought the fire pit and chairs from the table across the lawn to another area where we could safely sit. The owners provided a gift of s'mores materials and wine--which was very sweet of them. It was a very unfortunate experience complicated by the fact that they felt uncomfortable during our stay. Overall, we were not overly impressed with the comfort of the home. The shower upstairs is basically a metal box with a rusted floor. The hot and cold handles are reversed--it took us a little while to figure that out ! Overall, this is not a place we would book again when attending a concert in Bethel.

My sister Maria and I (Tony) manage and co own Woodridge House with 3 other siblings. Mom and dad were proud parents who instilled the importance of family, education and love, ideologies we still abide by. We are a close knit family that are grateful for the house and its ability to make us closer and appreciate the outdoors. Some of my siblings, including myself, have moved to a new chapter in life, retirement. We come from a myriad of life careers in medicine, law enforcement and the arts. We remain very close in part from the time shared at the house and the priceless memories that are cherished in our hearts.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Woodridge House has been in the family for over forty years. It was my fathers dream to have his children and their children gather under one roof. Dad provided us the ability to attain a collective of loving memories of us swimming in the river, hiking in the mountain, baseball, volleyball games and awesome barbeques, in which we shared with extended family and dear friends. Recently, my siblings and I discussed the future of the property and felt strongly that Pop's dream should be shared and extended to others, so they in turn can build there own wonderful family memories also.

The property has a beautiful view of mountains during the day, awesome star gazing at night and a wonderful river front to swim or just relax by.
Cooking and eating outdoors or by the river
Flat fields allow for any imaginable sport to be played .
We have had amazing soft ball and touch football games along wonderful outdoor meals
