This log cabin gives guests direct access to the Wisconsin River and boasts modern appliances and quality furnishings.

Gather in the living room after a fun-filled day at the river. Prepare meals together in the well-appointed kitchen that features stainless steel appliances. Dine at the table fit for four, at the breakfast bar, or dine alfresco at the picnic table in the backyard.

Each bedroom has been uniquely outfitted with your comfort in mind. A loft features two beds and a desk workspace, offering an additional sleeping space for your group as well as somewhere to work or study from. A Pack 'n Play is also available if needed.

Thereā€™s so much to enjoy outside. Lounge on the spacious deck and soak up the sun while reading a good book. Make use of the complimentary canoe and kayaks to have fun adventures on the river. Lifejackets are also available to ensure water safety. At night, gather around the firepit and stargaze. Itā€™s the perfect spot to make memories.

The host went above and beyond. There were Thanksgiving Day gifts for us when we arrived. She also stopped by to bring us something we needed on Thanksgiving Day. The place was very clean. Well stocked with towels. And a picturesque setting by the river.

The cabin is cute but not clean. The layers of dust & lack of deep cleaning was evident. The kitchen lacked a lot of essentials - pots/pans/utensils were very worn. There were no kitchen towels, one roll of paper towels, and a ton of flies. We had to go out & buy fly swatters, strips, towels, glasses, & zip lip lock bags. The outside areas are a little overgrown. The view of the river & access to river was great.The beds were not comfy & could use a refresh. A DVD player would be a nice addition.

The Cabin location is great, isolated and private. Unfortunately, the Cabin needs upgrades, overall improvements and more attention from the owners. Bathrooms were fully stocked with supplies. One toilet was not even clean and clogged. There was left over dirty plates with food from previous guest. The TV did not work. There is no AC.

Very nice secluded spot and had everything we needed, although the frying pans were in really rough shape. Cabin could use a deep cleaning - the bedroom ceiling fans were dusty enough we did not want to use them. I would definitely stay here again, but would bring some of my own cookware.

Property was nice! Everything was a little tight. Wish trees and weeds were trimmed back a little further. No room on sides of vehicles to get in and out. Cabin was clean and beautiful. Dock was nice and kayaking was easy. Water was to shallow to fish. Bring plenty of bug spray as mosquitoes were very thick. Overall, nice property and highly recommend if youā€™re looking for a relaxing, quiet cabin get away.

Beautiful home and very spacious inside the home. However, we couldnā€™t enjoy anything outside because the mosquitos were terrible! We couldnā€™t enjoy a campfire, the water, nothing! Super disappointing especially since we weee there in the summer time, and unfortunately will not be back.

Great place to relax and wind down. House is beautiful and right next to the river which was what we were looking for. Unfortunately the fish wasnā€™t biting for us! However the mosquitoes were!! lol Remember to bring bug spray and citronella candles to sit outside. Upon arrival the manager reported that the tv wasnā€™t working, she had the maintenance man out the next day. He was friendly and fixed the issue promptly!

Getting Away From It All

Quiet, beautiful wooded setting right on the river! Beautiful view and comfortable, well furnished home decorated in a welcoming log cabin style! Close to the Dells but the house gets you away from all the tourists! A lot to do and see in the area! We would definitely stay here again!!

great getaway

really enjoyed being off the main area of the dells, it was quiet and nice. River access is great. It felt like staying at a friends cabin for the weekend. TV worked fine. There's no internet but it was nice to mostly be offline. Fridge is new and clean, same for dishwasher. Bathrooms were nice and new and clean, plenty of towels. AC kept us cool all weekend.

River View Getaway

We stayed at this home with two of our adult children and another couple. There was plenty of room for everyone. Everything was very clean and we felt very comfortable there. We especially loved the screen in porch and fire pit.

Gorgeous cabin and setting

Gorgeous location, and the cabin was beautiful inside. As previous reviewers stated, all the beds are very much on the firm side. Overall it was a great stay, mostly because the environment inside the cabin was so nice. We really enjoyed the indoors and the view. It's been a very rainy summer in Wisconsin, so as of mid-July the mosquitoes were horrible outside. Even with deet bug spray they swarmed us the second we stepped outdoors. We were not able to use the firepit at our mid-July stay, and even being down at the dock was a challenge....but given our weather, I would not assume this property is always so buggy in the summer. It's possible we just had back luck. We did get out on the kayaks, though, and that was fun. As for suggestions for improvement-- the cabin is in need of a look-over in the kitchen. New glassware, a new set of mugs, a larger frying pan, large cooking spoons, etc. We managed, but what was supplied for cooking and dining was sometimes pretty slim. The large electric griddle for pancakes was appreciated! We stayed at the cabin during a very hot, muggy stretch of three summer days, and the AC did a great job of keeping the house cool. I was surprised it was so effective! It had to be running full-blast most of the time, as it wasn't a whole-house unit, but with the rest of the air in the house circulating through the forced-air system, the AC worked beautifully--even for our kids sleeping up in the loft. We would stay here again, especially since many of our planned outdoor activities were at local state parks and in the Dells. There wasn't a need to spend a lot of time outdoors while at the cabin.

Okay.. but not for the price.

The pictures look awesome online. The living room and kitchen are nice. But that's where it ends. The beds were the worst beds I've ever slept in my life. Ticks all in the house. Coackroaches in the cabinets. Huge carpenter ants everywhere inside. The floors were dirty. The bathrooms were dirty. The "porch" area hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. The outside area was not kept up. No spring cleaning of any sort. The whole outdoor area was 100% not kid friendly. Kids couldn't be outside at all. The dock is NOT meant for fishing. The water is tea colored and mucky. There's trees all over in the water so do not come here if u want to fish off the dock like we did. Overall it wasn't the best experience I have to be honest. Won't be coming back.

Quiet River Cabin

Took the nephews and my son on a retreat. The cabin was clean and as described. The beds were comfortable, and rooms came with ceiling fans if you need them. The river was sandy with almost no rocks, leading to great swimming, boating, and fishing.

Family get together

We ended up staying at this beautiful location as a meeting point for 3 families. Gorgeous house that was generally well appointed. It fit our needs and provided us with many wonderful memories chatting, playing games and doing puzzles (which we brought) as we spent a fair amount of time inside due to rain. Plan accordingly as there is no washer and dryer available and no internet. That being said we were thankful to have had the opportunity to stay here and would definitely come back.
