This cabin is probably great for some, but not for a family with a kids. My kids found a bullet and razor blade in the room they were staying in. When I messaged the owner she said my kids being scared was ridiculous. The shower had a used open bar of soap in it which I found gross. There were a lot of personal belongings around like a belt hanging by the bed in a room, hats, etc. I also let the owner know of a wasp nest outside of the cabin and she said it’s the northwoods so I shouldn’t have a problem with it. I don’t think my kids getting stung is the vacation we’re looking for. It says there is a grill to use but all propane tanks were empty and the owner said if we wanted to use it we’d have to go fill a propane tank in town 35 minutes away. We didn’t feel filling a whole tank to use it for a day for the owners to use the rest was okay. If they don’t want to have propane they should have a charcoal grill and list that so you know to get charcoal. The lake is unusable unless you use the kayaks only. You can’t swim or get a boat through the weeds. We left early because of rhe safety concerns and when I asked for a refund for the day we weren’t going to be there due to concerns the owner refused. This is the worst VRBO we w stayed at and we’ve stayed at many and never ever had an issue so this was very disappointing and was a huge waste of money unfortunately.
