Welcome to Floridays...a quiet place by the lake

Relax in the sun and enjoy a drink by your private pool in the bug free lanai. Tie up your boat to the private dock or go out for a sunny day on Lake June-in-Winter. Ski. Boat. Fish for world class Florida large mouth bass. Or just unwind at the party cove! It's a short 5 minute ride through the canals to beautiful Lake June.

This home is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Walk Lemon Road in the mornings and meet the friendly neighbors walking their dogs.

Floridays was renewed in 2022. Everything from the furniture to the light switches are new. The kitchen holds modern appliances and kitchenware that didn't come from a garage sale.

Keep your boat tied to the dock (for the time being there is a boat stored on the boat lift). You can even store your boat trailer in the extra large garage. Fish from the dock!

There are 3 outdoor security cameras, NO cameras inside. A doorbell camera. A camera in the dock for the boat. Last a camera in the lanai. If the lanai camera makes things uncomfortable please cover it with a cloth. It's only there to monitor the back entrances when the home is empty.

We have stayed at Floridays 3 times now. The home is wonderful. The pool was great. Sitting on the lanai having morning coffee, while overlooking the pool and canal, was so relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The neighbors were all friendly and all the dogs had fun together. We will be back again. Just a wonderful, peaceful place. Maybe, one day, Mitch will sell it to us. LOL!

Beautiful home!

This was our 2nd visit here. This home is well taken care of, it looked just as nice as the first time we stayed there 2 years ago. As soon as you walk in, you feel at home. Love the layout. The kitchen has everything you would need. The pool is so relaxing and the outdoor furniture makes it a great place for morning coffee as you look out at the pool and the canal that takes you out to Lake June. Really peaceful. Neighbors are very friendly and all the homes and yards are taken care of. We hated to leave, it was so relaxing to us. One day we hope to be able to live somewhere in the neighborhood in a home similar to this one. This one would be perfect, but I think they are going to keep it for their retirement years.

Perfect house!

We recently spent a long weekend with family in this wonderful home. It was clean and stocked with absolutely everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The host was responsive and super helpful with all questions before our stay. I would highly recommend this rental!

What a home away from home should. The house was clean and tidy. It was a breeze to get in. Owner has the house very organized. The stay at this property was very delightful. My wife and I have rented over a half a dozen of properties like this, and this by far was the best experience.

Ed’s birthday weekend

Mitch’s property was perfect! The home was roomy, well stocked with everything you could possible need and beautifully decorated. It was perfect for my husband’s birthday weekend. Our adult children and their spouses along with our toddler grandson enjoyed all of the homes spaces from the large and cozy sectional internet the living room to the pool deck with a large table and sitting area. My husband loved the boat dock and the boat lift to keep his tracker boat up out of the water and under cover. We will definitely keep Mitch’s property saved in our favorites.

Couldn’t ask for a better place! The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors were extremely nice. The house was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Enjoyed the pool and sitting out on the canal dock enjoying the evenings. Will definitely book again.

Lake Placid Rental

Beautiful home … very comfortable for us to stay there. Great location for anything in the Lake Placid area. Pool area was outstanding … has a large covered sitting area so you can get out of the sun if you choose but still be part of the pool side activities. Highly recommended !!! Jeff

Perfect peaceful getaway

Such a quiet and peaceful little escape which was just what we were looking for! The house was spotless, everything was new, towels soft with no odors, beds and pillows were comfortable. (My kids loved the big overstuffed comfy couch!) Kitchen was well stocked. The pool was great and used a lot! My son caught bass right off the dock and often walked to the end of the road and fished at the empty lot. We met several neighbors that were all very friendly!

Beautiful

Mitch was extremely responsive! The location and property was perfect for us! We were able to use the dock for our 22ft pontoon. The water temperature was perfect for our daughter. We even nailed a few bass during our stay. Thank you for wonderful experience.

Another home run!

This was our second year renting this house and it did not disappoint! Everything in the house runs great, the pool is awesome, and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well set up for cooking - plenty of pots, utensils, silverware, plates, glasses etc. The owner, Mitch, is very easy to communicate with and very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to return to this fabulous rental and location!

Great place - would rent again

The house was absolutely wonderful! The house has every little thing you might need and even some you didn’t realize you needed. Mitch was amazing and always replied quickly. My husband and I spent the month “working from home” at Mitch’s place. I inquired about someone to walk our dog and Mitch set us up with someone. He had the house cleaned half way thru our stay - at his expense. It’s the little things like this that makes the house head and shoulders above the rest. On another rental site it lists the beds as cool foam beds. Please be aware that these beds are very firm. Great neighborhood and very friendly people. Great location. Found an excellent church in Sebring - Grace Bible. Thank you Mitch for everything - you and your house are amazing!

Lovely vacation home

Wonderful home

If I could buy this property, I would! Clean, open design, rooms were big. Kitchen had everything you needed. Loved the shower in the master bath. The saltwater pool was great. Furnishing of home was great. Nice, quiet neighborhood. My family very much enjoyed our stay.

Floridays Vacation

We had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful and comfortably furnished. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We appreciated having the extra room in the garage to park our boat trailer and also having the dock and slip right behind the house made fishing everyday very convenient! The pool was very relaxing and we used the grill several times. Little touches inside the house were appreciated (nice soft thow blankets, fully stocked utensils in kitchen, floats and pool noodles, plenty of beach towels). We had a fabulous vacation and give this rental a 5/5!

I am a early retired Bible professor from a Christian university in Ohio. My wife is a CPA tax accountant, and a partner in her firm. We plan to live in our Lake Placid home in winters starting in 2024.

I like to fish. My wife enjoys life by the pool and on the lake.

The Lake Placid area is a world class location for largemouth bass. April 2023 I caught my personal record, a 30" largemouth.

It was important to us to create a premium experience for our guests. We think (like our past guests) you'll like staying here.

Lake June is a large freshwater sandy bottom lake containing water. Rent a boat from Lake June Pontoons or tie up your own boat at our dock. Go fishing, or skiing, or simply unwind with music and cocktails at the sandbar (there's usually a boat party you can join).

Enjoy morning coffee or an evening beverage in the lanai by the pool. You'll hear doves, owls, wood ducks, and many more. One can see Great Blue Herons, Whooping Cranes, and a large Great Horned Owl. Now and then adult Sandhill Cranes walk their young right though the back yards. Sometimes you can see otters play right on the dock. Then at the end of the day it's hard to beat a south Florida sunset.

Open the sliding glass pocket doors and enjoy the outside-in on cool days. Enjoy an outside dinner at the big table in the lanai. Or stay inside and make yourself comfortable on furniture chosen to maximize comfort, often an afterthought in other short term rentals.
