Just a short stroll from the beach and Discovery Coast Trail, this modern retreat offers convenience with downtown Long Beach within a mile. The fully equipped kitchen and open living area make it perfect for cozy gatherings, featuring a flat-screen TV for movie nights. Indulge in the lower master suite's luxury with a jetted tub, separate shower, and private patio. Enjoy outdoor living with a fenced yard, fire pit, and propane grill. Extras include clam guns, fishing gear, and thoughtful amenities like quality linens, soaps, and paper products. Experience tranquility in this quiet neighborhood – no parties, just relaxation.
Beach Access: • This home is a short 10-minute walk to the beach and Discovery Coast Trail • 20-minute walk or 3-minute drive to downtown Long Beach
Pets: • Up to 2 dogs allowed • $25 per dog per night cleaning charge, plus taxes. • Not declaring your dogs will result in a $500 fine per dog • Large dog crate, dishes, leashes, blankets. Are available for your furry friends.
Parking: • There is only room for 2 cars; one COMPACT car in the garage and one in the driveway. • On-street parking is not allowed. Cars parked on the street or blocking driveways will be towed. • Additional public parking is available along the Bolstad Beach Approach and in three large lots on Oregon Ave. S. between 3rd St SE and 5th St SE in Downtown Long Beach. • 110v trickle charge outlet outside. No extension cord provided.
Children: • Children two and under do not count as part of the maximum occupancy. • Plastic cups and plates for children. • Puzzles and Board Games • Pack'n'Play is provided.

Relaxing Stay
The place was clean and cozy. The fenced in backyard was great as well. The neighborhood was nice and quiet but accessing the beach trail was a little further than I thought, still walkable but hard with a senior dog.

We had such a great time for our family get away! The rooms were clean, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances, no spices/oils. We had a 2.5 year old who had a great time playing in the sand in the back yard. We ran out of propane on our first night after a very short use and the hosts were very responsive and replaced it quickly which was great! Would stay again.

Great place to enjoy Long Beach
We were happy with the accomodations. The place was clean, well-stocked and laid out perfectly for two couples. We are long-term Long Beach vacationers who know the area well and it's worth the money. I would have given 5 stars for location/neighborhood if parking was a bit better for a second vehicle, but we managed and parked it around the corner. All-in-all, very happy.

Nice & Clean
This area was peaceful for the most part. The people across from us were installing concrete to expand their front yard area so it was noisy while they were there. Other than that, it would be nice to have larger kennel for our dogs.

Very cute place
First time in Long Beach, and we enjoyed our stay at the Laughing Seagull. The only reason I'm not rating the place 5 stars is due to the fact that we chose the house based on the wonderful spa bathtub to enjoy only to find out that the water heater is not big enough to accommodate filling up the tub. Also, we could not find the remote control for the fireplace, so that was a bit disappointing. Other than that, it is a nice location, quiet, clean, and just a short walk to the beach.

Thank you for reviewing your stay at Laughing Seagull! We were not aware of the hot water issue, and since you have stayed, the owner has replaced the hot water heater. As for the fireplace, there never was a remote but a wall switch to turn it on. We hope to have you return again to be able to fully enjoy all of the amenities we have to offer!

Close to beach and spacious

Bloomer provided a pre arrival handbook and directions, handy if you like the details. Location is easy to get to from the city. The unit was spacious, we were 3 adults 3 kids. There is a short walk to beach. They had two adult bikes in the garage available for use and a clam scoop! We noted a minor detail needing repair and they offered to fix right away. You could pedal from the house along the dunes to the "downtown" in about 10mins. We felt it was good value.
