It is a wonderful location. A beautiful walk through the dunes to the beach. Loved the pet friendly touches. The fluffy towels were abundant. If you are tall...the bathroom cabinets are quite low and the shower heads are perfect for shorter folks.

The house was clean and tidy, with great, comfy furniture. Lots of windows, making it bright and open. The kitchen is well-equipped. The bedrooms are well-kept, and very clean. We appreciated the single story home, with just a few steps to the front door. Loved having laundry in the main bath. This was a girls' weekend, and we had a great time!!

overall great property items that need work are as follows.slider screen, main bath toilet seat, raise shower head in master shower, blank cover put on light pole outside. I was a bit surprised of a charcoal bbq and expected a gas grill but thats my bad.All and all great place for 8 guys to say.

Cute Red Ocean House

Outside of the main hub but not far. And on top of the dunes to beach front and ocean waves. Building sand castles, beach fires at night and family together time. What more is there to enjoy! We had 3 generations with 8 total people. Six would be better number for the house, but we all loved being together. Thank you for sharing the spot.

Overall disappointing. Place was clean, but if moved a bed or side table, found rubbish and a pair of socks!Place was old, which was fine really, but pieces were really cheap and uncared for. Curtains over the door were too small, and hard to pull open and close, and when we did the whole curtain rail fell apart! Tall lounge lamp, the attachment or the bulb to the pole was broken and the blub hung down touching the shade, so we didn't want to turn it on as it was a fire hazard. No mirrors or hangers in the bedrooms. outdoor space was so small and the plastic chairs so large it was hard to sit and chat even with only 3 of us staying. fireplace not working. there also so many rules and don'ts that it was hard to feel relaxed. The shower in the ensuite so low one had to do the limbo to get the upper part of the body even wet!Communication from the property agent was really poorly written and some of the instructions were incorrect. For the cost it did not feel like good value at all, almost they were trying to gain as much profit as possible. Shame really as it was a great location and could walk to the beach,

Great getaway!

Had a great weekend! The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you need and the beach access is excellent. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Overall a good stay

This is an older property and there are things some people might find off putting about the age. We found the location, the number of beds, the comfort of the beds and bedding to be lovely. The location and short walk to the beach as well as the view from the house and the lovely grounds were also excellent. The house was clean but the age of the house makes it harder to be pristine. The laminate floors are a plus however the downstairs carpets are very old and May add to the misty smell. The water is on a well and has a sulfur smell this was kit a deal breaker and it does get better if left running for some time.. overlap this house met out needs and we had a wonderful weekend on the beach.

Long Beach House

Easy to find, easy keypad entry, neighborhood was quiet, house was clean, plenty of dishes, towels and cookware. And the beds were comfortable. It is a big deal to me for the beds to be comfortable.

Long Beach Stay

We had a great time at this property. With all the amenities and location, it allowed us to relax and be at home. With 8 people in reservation, the property was well equipped for our needs.

Vacation house

We came into town for the sand castle festival and the house was perfect for all our needs. It was close to town and the kitchen was well outfitted with dishes, pots, pans and cooking utensils. We enjoyed the board games and puzzles in the evenings. The path to the beach was overgrown halfway down, but we were in town at the beach most days. The fan in the main bathroom in the hall did not work, but it was a minor inconvenience. We would stay again if we come back into town!

Great dog friendly place with a sizable yard near beach!

This place was perfect for an intimate gathering of family. Our dog was delighted with being able to play ball in the back yard and go for walks to the beach. Each room was comfortable and having 2 bathrooms available for 6 people was terrific! We would definitely pick this cottage again. Thank you owner and VBO!

Great weekend getaway

We had a great stay! This was our second time at this property and will definitely come back. We love the quiet neighborhood and that it’s off the Main Street. It also has a trail to the beach. It’s a great place for kids and pets!

Spring getaway weekend

Spacious home was perfect for a girlfriends’ getaway. Kitchen was well-equipped, and open to the living area. Clean, comfortable and just steps from the beach and minutes to attractions.

Nice place. Needs updates.

Carole’s place is nice. This is our second stay there. Between stays (1.5 years) some things have been broken that need fixed. The kitchen cabinet door swings open randomly. The master shower is so low it hits you in the stomach instead of the the head, and many of the doors have scraped things. When we checked in we received a message that we needed to pick up a key. There was no key and no lockbox sign. I called. Was supposed to get an address texted to me because there is now a lock pad on the property. Never got a text with the address. Good thing I have stayed before and knew where to go. My daughter also lost her blanket there. I’ve messaged. We will see if I get a reply. Also all the patio chairs are broken so there’s no where to sit on the deck. This was very disappointing on some very sunny days! On to the good-the house sleeps a lot of people. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and coffee as well as some spices. The walk to the beach is pleasant, although the path was flooded so we had to ask the neighbors to use their access. The beds are Comfy and it’s a cozy place away from the craziness of downtown. Updates and better communication would make this the perfect place.
