Welcome to the Hummingbird House, a peaceful getaway located in a beautiful, serene neighborhood that is close to everything in Eugene. From virtually every window, there is a beautiful view. The house was built in 1973 and has original wood beams, open views of green space with an organic garden that beckons you to rest for a while. The house offers 2 bedrooms and a loft that sleeps 6 and is truly cozy and peaceful.

Location:
We are located in a quiet neighborhood with wonderful neighbors, yet just a 3-minute drive to U of O. Walking distance to Hendricks Park and Mission City Park. 2 minute drive to Laurelwood Golf Course, 10 minute drive to Autzen Stadium, 3 minute drive to Hayward Field. 3 minute drive to dining and entertainment. Close to many trails nearby.

The House
Hummingbird House is an 1800 sf ft, two level house built in 1973. As you first walk in, you will be drawn to the wall of windows with beautiful views of the green space in front of you. The house has all the modern amenities you need to feel comfortable without the excess stuff that weighs you down. Sitting in the living room, you will be able to see amazing sunsets and truly relax and be inspired to write, meditate, do yoga or whatever beckons you.

The house is stocked with everything you will need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. From a Nespresso machine, washer and dryer, quality linens and towels to quality furniture and unique décor items that we personally love and felt were perfect for this house.

Entertainment includes a 65’’ Samsung TV with Netflix and board games for the entire family. Of course, there is fast WIFI available.

Because the house is vacant at times, we installed three external cameras for security; at the front door, carport and the side deck.

In case you are coming with little ones, we have a Pack & Play, booster seat, baby bathtub and anti-slip tub mat, Baby shower gel and baby lotion along with books, games, toys and kid size dinnerware.

Guest Access
You will be given a code to use to unlock the front door for your self-check-in. There is ample parking for 3 cars between the carport and spaces along the fence.

We will not be available in person but always reachable for any questions or needs 24/7

There is parking in the carport (2 cars if parked tandem) and 1 car that can be parked along the fence.

The loft is an open space overlooking the living room below. We recommend that this space be used for adults only. Please take this into consideration when booking for your group.
