This classic Cape Cod cottage rests on a hilltop along the shore of Megansette Harbor with a stunning harbor and sunset view. The public beach is within walking distance as is the shining sea bike path with multiple bike shops along the way for renting bicycles and other equipment. Additionally, fantastic coffee shops and top-rated restaurants are all within walking distance as well. This house is a nod to nautical days gone by with a view that can't be beat.

Our stay with 7 adults at the Cape Cod Cottage was excellent! The cottage was spotless and well appointed. It certainly filled our needs as we attended a family reunion at another location nearby.Certainly we would consider returning in the future if the need arose.

We had a great weekend in this beautiful home! My family and I were in town for a cousin’s wedding and unfortunately weren’t able to explore the area as much as we would’ve liked, but the hosts offered tons of options and were super responsive. The house has a lot of charm and we loved waking up and drinking our coffee on one of the porches! Thank you, again!

Wonderful Bachelorette Weekend

We stayed at this house for my bachelorette weekend and it was great. The best part was the view from the porch. The living area downstairs was more spacious than I expected, and there was plenty of space to sit and eat in the dining room area. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. We enjoyed the beaches nearby. Overall, a house with a lot of charm that can fit a large group in a great area of the Cape!

College Reunion Weekend Stay

My friends and I plan one weekend a summer where we get to see each other and spend some time in the sun. The host, Lillian, was one of the most kind and welcoming hosts i’ve ever had! We had a wonderful time at the beautifully located property, from walking to the beach to grilling in the yard, it was one of the best weekends ever. Thank you Lillian!

This is a great property with friendly owners!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property! The owner, Lillian, was super helpful with everything and had amazing response time! The only thing is there is one small shower, so if you have a big group, it may take some planning to have everyone shower, but it wasn't a problem for us!

Perfect cape cod getaway

Nothing but great things to say about this property . It was the perfect location for our girls weekends/bachelorette weekend. The home is spacious and stacked with towels and beach chairs to use at the beach that is walking distance away. Both the host and her mother were fabulous, as well. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nightly sunsets…wow!

This “cottage” is fantastic. It has so much character and was such a wonderful place to stay with our family. The sunset every night was so beautiful from the deck. Lillian is a wonderful host and, gave us so many tips on where to visit during our stay. Can’t wait to visit again!

Lovely older Cape home with fantastic location

Great location, great owner easy to reach, well stocked with fantastic wrap around porch with sea view. It is an house with quirks but very responsive owner. We loved the character of the home and would happily stay there again.

Beautiful Ocean Sunsets

The view from the wrap around porch is amazing. What a relaxing place to sit and enjoy being on Cape Cod each morning and evening. This was a great house for our weekend getaway. It’s close to beaches and the bike path, with a short drive to downtown Falmouth. We will definitely be back!

Magical house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lillian and Rosan's beautiful home. The house feels like something out of a movie, with a charming blend of historical character and modern renovations.The upstairs bathroom is perfect for little kids, while the downstairs shower may require a shower cap if you want to keep your hair dry. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the view from the porch is spectacular—a perfect spot to relax and watch the sunset.There's a calm beach just an eight-minute walk away, which was ideal for our family.Rosan and Lilian, the hosts, were warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable.

Short visit for Falmouth Road Race

Lillian's home is a perfect spot in North Falmouth- easy to get everywhere and away from most of the annoyances of the Cape. Great old house- everything works but it is a bit rustic. There's only one shower, but that's the only drawback. Great neighborhood, too. And Lillian is a big help and has a wealth of local knowledge if you need it.

Perfect weekend at the Cape!

We stayed at the cottage for a girls weekend and it was lovely. The house is so charming, and everyone had a great time. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch with our coffee in the mornings and watching the boats go by. The host was especially helpful, and her mom was very sweet and brought over a book of walking trails in the area for us to explore. There were 7 of us in the group and there was plenty of room for everyone. Highly recommend staing in this cottage!

Beautiful Setting/Uncomfortable Beds

This house is in a gorgeous setting. The farmers porch was a relaxing place to enjoy views of the bay in the morning and stunning sunsets in the evening. Unfortunately, only two of the beds had comfortable mattresses. One mattress was old and worn unevenly so that no matter how one slept on it the person rolled to the middle and had an awkward arch in their back. The twin beds had very thin mattresses. The futon in the living room was fairly comfortable. The hostess was very nice. This property would be a gem with a few updates.

Great cottage with a view

We combined three families for this trip to cape cod. The property gave us plenty of space. We spent most of our time on the porches, of which there are an abundance. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch swing, enjoyed dinner on the back porch patio dining table and enjoyed wine in the evenings watching the sun set over the ocean. With seven of us, there were beds for everyone and plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed the bike trail and walking over to the local beach. Great house with a great location!

Great weekend

This house was really great for our trip. There were 9 of us total and everyone had a bed to sleep in. The view of the water from the porch was definitely a highlight. The owner was very helpful and nice. She has a house right next to this one on the same property. It is walking distance to a very nice beach. The house and beds are definitely on the older side. There’s also only one shower (the other bathroom only has a bath tub). Overall I would recommend this house!

Awesome location, AC and bathrooms a little challenging

The house is a lovely New England giant with a great porch and a short walk from a nice beach. The AC is comprised of individual units in each bedroom, and one for the main living space, and it was hard to get comfortable on a very hot and humid August weekend. I think it would be fine for most of the summer. There was also only one shower, which was very small. Just keep that in mind if you're going to full the house with beach goers.

We had a lovely week at this charming Cape cottage. The owners are kind and helpful. (Their home is on the property.) We enjoyed the quirks of the older (early 1900s) home. The kitchen was well appointed and the house was stocked with linens, bath towels, beach towels, and beach chairs. Check out was easy with no long to-do list. Grandparents and grandkids all got to spend a lot of time together playing games in the living room and sitting on the porch enjoying the beautiful ocean view. A lovely neighborhood beach is an 8 minute walk or just a few minutes by bike. Beach has lots of shells so bring water shoes. The beach is by a small harbor that is excellent for kayaking or paddle boarding, and there is a dock that we enjoyed jumping off of. The bike trail is not too far away. Some of us rode bikes to the trail but often with the kids we took cars and parked at the lot. The location and views would be hard to beat. Wish I was still there.

excellent location and great views

The location is excellent in North Falmouth very close to the Shining Sea bike trail. There is a wmonderfull view on the Ocean from the main deck. The living room, dinning areas are very large. A lot of linen (excellent quality) was provided. The kitchen is fully equiped. Please note that this is a old typical Cape Cod style house, so an old building. The mother of the owner is living on the same lot (convinient or not for some). The shower is rather small. Maybe the kitchen and the 2 bathrooms need a little update. But the house is so nice and the location & views are perfect, so you will love this place. The owner replies immediatly.

Great porch and water view

We had 4 families (including children) staying together. The house was spacious, nicely decorated and immaculately clean. The wraparound porch was especially nice. It had a beautiful water view. It was raining on one of our days but we could still sit out on the porch because it was covered. The host was friendly and easily available, in fact she lives in the house next door. The neighborhood is serene and safe. A short walk to the water. Falmouth Center is a short drive away. My grandchildren loved the candy store! The only downside was the sleeping /bed configuration was awkward for our particular group. This was solved by asking my son to bring an air mattress. It would be great if the huge bedroom with the trundle had an additional twin bed. We had a great stay and I highly recommend this property.
