The Bahama House on Green Turtle Cay - Coco Bay beachfront

The Bahama House is a beautiful 4-bedroom, 3-bath home on Coco Bay, just steps from the breathtaking Bahama blue waters. This fully equipped, beautifully decorated home features comfortable living spaces both inside and out, including a private beach, a nearby dock, and opportunities for snorkeling and swimming right outside your door.

The beachfront home, encompassing 2,500 square feet, includes A/C, a brand-new (2024) full-house generator, and a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a garbage disposal, recessed lighting, and stainless steel appliances, including an ice/water dispenser in the refrigerator door. All the amenities you have at home are provided. The spacious open living and dining area boasts cathedral ceilings, recessed lighting, a cupola, ceiling fans, a flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, and a desk with a VHF radio for island communication. The great room is an ideal spot to gather and share stories after a day enjoying the tropics. Surf the internet on our high-speed wireless network or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV.

A wraparound deck completes the home, featuring a 60' porch and a large sun deck where you can enjoy the magnificent views of Coco Bay by day and the incredible stars at night.

The master bedroom includes a king-size bed and sliding glass doors that open onto the outdoor deck. The master bath features marble countertops, two marble above-counter vessels, and a huge tumbled marble walk-in shower. The walk-in closet is equipped with suitcase holders, but all you really need is a swimsuit, beach towel, and casual dinner wear.
Three additional bedrooms offer comfortable queen-size beds, nightstands and dressers.There are two additional full bathrooms, each with a tub, tumbled marble, and a shower.

This is the perfect home for a large family or group. The Bahama House is right on Coco Bay, an excellent beach for walking, shelling, bone-fishing, snorkeling, and swimming. A nearby dock allows you to tie up your rental boat, and there is ample room to park a golf cart rental beside the house. Enjoy your private white sand beach right on Coco Bay, relax on Adirondack chairs by the pristine water, soak up the sun, or bring a float and dream about planning your return to paradise.

The Bahama House is a comfortable retreat where you can unwind, relax, and enjoy privacy. It’s just a short golf cart ride away from breakfast, lunch, or dinner options if you choose not to cook. Gather on the deck to watch the sunsets, stay in and cook, or take a short ride to Green Turtle Club or Bluff House for dinner. Alternatively, you can have a chef come and prepare a meal for you. The choice is yours.

What a wonderful place! Beautiful house in a great location, including a private beach with chairs... comes with 2 kayaks, all kitchen needs, even a first aid kit and plenty of beach towels, but the best thing is how much the host helped us prepare for the trip, sending lots of great information about the island and recommending a chef, taxi services, etc. . The local property managers were also "above and beyond" helpful.. including getting groceries for us before we even arrived!! They will help your group get to from the ferry dock and show you around the house. The experience at this rental simply could not be better...Over the top service in a fabulous house- WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

We have stayed in Green Turtle many times. This home was absolutely perfect for us because of size and location. It had all the little extras that made it a great vacation. Would definitely stay there again!

Peaceful, Beautiful Stay at Bahama House – A Memorable Family Trip

Our family stayed at the Bahama House on Green Turtle Cay for my in-laws’ 40th wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect setting for a meaningful getaway. The house was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and felt like a true retreat.We loved starting our mornings on the porch with ocean views or on the beach having a cup of coffee. Days were spent enjoying the calm waters of Coco Bay, snorkeling in Bita Bay, exploring the island by golf cart, and venturing out on our boat to fish and hunt for lobster. The location was ideal — quiet and private, but close enough to town and right on the prettiest beach Green Turtle has to offer.It was a relaxing, memorable trip for all of us. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

One of the best locations on Green Turtle

Just what we needed

Absolute PARADISE

This place is spectacular, so well stocked, but I have to start with the most amazing customer service experience I've ever had. This was our first time to the island. Allison proactively reached out to help us book golf carts, a boat, pre-order groceries and alcohol. She asked for our travel plans and we were met at the ferry dock by her team who walked us over to the golf cart rental and they carted all of our luggage to the house. They gave us a personalized tour of the home. I've stayed in well stocked homes, but this one takes the cake!! The kitchen has everything you need. I had packed some, but the kitchen has lots of spices, cleaning supplies, an abundance of plates, cutlery, pots, pans, bowls, bakeware, serving ware. There are also lots of tall Tervis cups with lids. The decor is beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice! Perfect layout. Great bedrooms, bathrooms, hanging out areas (inside and out), comfortable furniture, smart TV. Towels galore - both body and beach towels. An assortment of bug sprays, and similar items are available. The kayaks were fun! Steps away from the public dock to tie up your boat rental. The private beach with the adirondak chairs is so peaceful! We were able to feed the turtles and rays and had a few black tip reef shark sightings in the late afternoons. Fantastic laundry room and there was even laundry detergent. There was a lovely house guide with additional suggestions. I could go forever! 10 out of 5 stars!!

Amazing stay

We loved our stay at the Bahama house! The beach is right outside. The view from the house is amazing. And if you walk down to the dock you’ll see turtles and stingrays. The house has just about every equipment/water toys you’ll need to have a fun day at the beach. And the management team is super helpful with providing information on how to get there and planning of the trip.

great again as expected

we have been to the island several times and stayed at the Bahama house 2 times for 2 weeks each. The location is perfect, and the house is in great shape. plenty of swimming, sea life and of course rum punch make this a great island get away, enjoy.

Best house on the island

AMAZING!! From talking with Peggy before our arrival to the check in process, was above and beyond. The location of the house, the private beach, paddle board, kayaks and turtles and stingrays just steps away was more than we expected. We were on GTC for our daughter’s wedding and multiple people stopped by and said this was the best house on the island. It was truly a dream staying here. This will be the only house I book when we come back.

Great vacation

House was in a great location and well stocked and very clean and nice. Communication with Peggy was so nice and helpful and also Leslie took care of us getting settled in and helping us. We will definitely be back. Love this island and also this house.

Wonderful family reunion

Our family (7 adults) spent a wonderful week at the Bahama House. It could not have been more perfect from my first emails to Peggy full of questions to our checkout and ferry. The accommodations and whole house were clean comfortable and large enough that we had lots of room for group dinners and quiet conversations. The turtles and rays at the dock are magical. The snorkeling right offshore on the east side of the island is amazing. Take Peggy’s advice and do your major grocery shopping in Marsh Harbor. Also keep in mind that Marsh Harbor airport is not IFR capable so if the weather isn’t great you may not get in or out on time. This could mean a day or two delay. Flexibility is key.

The title says it all. We have stayed in dozens of vacation rentals all over the world in the last few years. The Bahama House on Coco Bay is as good as they get.

This house is so amazing and exactly what was explained. It was situated in the most beautiful bay, convenient to everything. The management was super helpful, I would take my family back to Green Turtle and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. We were spoiled! Thank you!!

Best house on the island!

This is my 8th year staying on Green Turtle and the Bahama House is by far the best house on the island! The house is beautiful and spacious and easily accommodated my family and friends. The location is perfect on Coco Bay, and I was able to keep my boat at the public dock. Can't wait to come back next summer!

Bahama House August Stay

Great property and location! Any Abaco vacation has certain obstacles, such as traveling in thunderstorms, power outages and surges (affect appliances), Noseeum bugs, etc. However, we had a really nice stay at Bahama House.

Return Trip

This house location and accommodation were perfect. We have been to the island 4 times. This was the first time staying in Bahama House and won’t be our last. The set up, AC, kitchen, WiFi, grill sitting areas, bed rooms all perfect for a great stay. Beach is 20 steps away, float in your own private ocean. Was very hard to leave.
