The Boch Hollow Farmhouse at Hocking Hills Hideaway Acres

Surrounded by Boch Hollow Nature Preserve, guests will have access to the newly renovated farmhouse and 37 1/2 acres abutting the beautify Boch Hollow State Nature Preserve. Trails meandering through the woods offer a private and relaxing hike. Animals such as squirrels, bunnies, turkeys, and many many deer frequent the property on a daily basis.Outside, the large front porch offers a swing and a glide for a relaxing setting where you can watch the sunset, stargaze or just take in the view. The back of the home offers a grass grill, a covered building and a fire pit.

Inside, the first floor are mostly all pine wood, giving the farmhouse an incredible rustic ambiance in contrast to the brand new furniture, appliances and electronics. Newly installed Mr. Cool mini-splits for AC/Heating, keeps the farmhouse at just the perfect temperature for you and your crew.
The dining area features an oversized kitchen table with 8 chairs with an outside view of the woods. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, utensils, and drinking glasses. We offer all new black stainless kitchen appliances. Paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, linens and towels are available.The living room has a sofa, loveseat, chair and a smart tv perfect for streaming the included Netflix account, or streaming any of your own personal streaming services. The first floor also a newly renovated bathroom with a large walk in shower and the master bedroom offers a king size bed with all new bedding and pillows. All of our bedrooms come with a ceiling fan and its own heating/cooling unit. The remote for the mini-splits are hanging beside the light and ceiling fan switches.The second bedroom offers two queen size beds with new mattresses, pillows and linens.The third bedroom offers two full beds and two twin beds with all new mattresses, pillows and linens.
As you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by a "pine wood paradise." The first floor wraps the farmhouse in a cozy, rustic vibe that perfectly balances the home's historical bones with sleek, modern upgrades. Every space has been thoughtfully designed to create an unforgettable experience, featuring four Mr. Cool mini-split units so that every bedroom can be dialed into your personal comfort level.
The heart of the home is our welcoming kitchen, filled with a wide variety of pots, pans, and utensils for the home chef. It features beautiful black stainless steel appliances, including a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. We’ve stocked the space with both a traditional coffee pot and a Keurig, as well as a starter supply of paper towels and essentials to make your arrival seamless.
Our bathroom offers modern convenience with a spacious walk-in shower, while the master bedroom on the first floor invites you to sink into a dreamy king-size bed with cloud-like linens. Venture upstairs to find our second bedroom with two plush queen beds, or the "sleepover paradise" in the third bedroom, featuring two full beds and two twin beds—perfect for families and groups.
As you make your way outside, you’ll find a true nature lover's oasis. Because we are nestled in the middle of a State Nature Preserve, you are in a front-row seat for a daily wildlife show. Relax on the spacious front porch for sunset watching and stargazing, or head to the backyard to soak in the 6-person hot tub. In the evenings, gather around the smokeless fire pit or cook a feast on the gas grill or giant griddle. We’ve got you covered with propane, firewood, and even roasting sticks for your marshmallows.
