This property delivers more than advertised and was a delight to visit. Highly recommend. Well located, clean, spacious basement apartment. Neighbourhood shops makes grabbing snacks / coffee a breeze and the well stocked kitchen makes cooking and clean up easy. Hosts are easy to communicate with and are helpful and friendly.

This is a spectacular rental. It is private, comfortable, and decorated with style. The apartment contains every item you need and 100 others you didn’t know you needed. Four ways to make coffee! The location is fantastic— a quiet residential area with plenty of parking. Great restaurants, coffee shops, and a natural foods grocery store are walkable in two blocks.It is extremely easy to get to lower Kitsilano and the beach, or the UBC campus, or downtown. We would 100% stay here again.

We are frequent VRBO travelers and we absolutely loved Cool Kits for so many reasons! The location is perfect, easy to access the city and other areas while having a wonderful “home base” to return to and unwind. We took advantage of the beautiful neighborhood for leisurely walks as well as access to a great path for a long run (17 miles) for marathon training! Grocery stores and restaurants are plentiful. The house itself was spotless, well supplied with basic needs, good coffee options, laundry supplies and basic kitchen needs to cook meals. The hosts provided us with great communication prior to our arrival and checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had what we needed. We have stayed in dozens of different VRBOs and I would put this one at the top of the list. We hope to return and will definitely recommend Cool Kits to friends and family traveling to Vancouver. Stop searching and book it if it’s available!

My wife and I shared the apartment with another couple in August 2026.This is one of the nicest short-term rental apartments that I have ever stayed in. The owners have thought of everything. The apartment, which has all that you need for a comfortable stay, will make you feel at home as you visit Vancouver.The hosts, who provide the best PDF rental handbook that I have ever seen, were always available to make suggestions and help if needed.I can’t recommend this property enough. I hope to stay here again in the future.

Very welcoming host and a well appointed apartment - the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, a great laundry room, and comfortable beds. I could have easily stayed a month and explored what is a phenomenal location and neighborhood. 2 blocks from a great grocery store; easy to downtown; park near by. The puzzles and books for my kids was such an extra bonus. 5/5

Beautiful, cozy, and warm. We had a delightful stay. Grocery two blocks away, tonnes of shops nearby, but still a slower, residential vibe. The hosts were fantastic, from early check-in to treats left for our family. We appreciated every aspect of our stay. Our only regret is that we weren’t staying longer!

We absolutely loved our stay at Demitri and Jessica’s beautiful Kitsilano home! The location was fantastic: tucked into a lovely, walkable neighborhood that offered an authentic taste of local Vancouver life while remaining convenient for exploring the city.From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The thoughtful arrival treats—maple cookies and red wine—were such a delightful touch! Throughout the home, it was clear that our hosts had taken great care to anticipate everything their guests might need.The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped for preparing and cooking meals, with wonderful amenities including a Nespresso coffee maker and filtered water dispenser. The bathroom felt wonderfully luxurious, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like our own private spa.We especially enjoyed the cozy den and attached patio, which provided the perfect place to unwind after busy days exploring Vancouver. We also appreciated the practical details, including abundant adjustable lighting and plenty of electrical outlets throughout the home. Everything was thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience.Most of all, this was a warm, comfortable, and inviting place to come “home” to each day. Demitri and Jessica were gracious, thoughtful hosts, and their attention to detail made our stay extra special.We would happily stay here again and enthusiastically recommend this wonderful Kitsilano gem to anyone visiting Vancouver. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Fantastic stay with amazing hosts

We are so glad we chose this property for our weekend stay with our daughter and son-in-law! We couldn’t have hand-picked better hosts, and the home had everything we could have asked for and then some. The personalized touches upon arrival were extra welcoming, and our stay was comfortable, clean, safe, and relaxing. We will definitely stay here again!

Terrific property in Vancouver

Wonderful hosts, impressive property with lots of cool updates and amenities not typical for any of the many locations at which we have stayed. Great location with 5-15 minute access to almost everything in the city! Will definitely stay there again on next trip(s).

Great stay in Kitsalano

Great 2 bedroom apartment with lots of kitchen, dining and living spaces, including a very nice exterior patio. Great proximity to grocery stores and restaurants and easy to get to major attractions. Highly recommend this suite for your stay in Vancouver.

Great Location

Excellent property, it was very clean and very inviting with all the conveniences of home. It’s a 10 minute walk to broadway st and a 45 minute walk to Granville Isle. It’s 15 minutes by Uber to Stanley Park. We loved our stay. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Vancouver.

Best place we have stayed

The place is immaculate, quiet, perfect temperature. Beds are comfortable and bedrooms are dark so slept really well. House has many small but appreciated touches-tissue boxes, wine bottle, snacks, condiments and spices in kitchen. Excellent communication from hosts. walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend this rental

Demitri and Jessica have created a beautiful, homey space in Kitslano. The home had everything anyone could need. The location was within a quick walk to many restaurants and cafes. The beach was also very close by and the walk through the neighborhood is peaceful and I’m missing it now. I would definitely stay here again. The check in and check out instructions were thorough and helpful. Loved our stay here!

Perfection

A terrific stay at the most well appointed home. The hosts have anticipated every need. The house has amazing finishes, appliances, books, a stunning kitchen, comfortable beds, you name it. Whenever we come to Vancouver, we will look to stay here. Can’t say good enough things about this place.

Best rental stay in Vancouver

From the moment we arrived to a warm and welcoming home which included personalised Christmas gifts for our kids, we knew we were staying somewhere special. The host and home were everything we expected from the property details and more. We can’t recommend Demetri’s home more highly. Thank you for making our Christmas even more memorable.

Perfect in every way

This is a perfect haven! The hosts have truly thought of everything. The gourmet kitchen was such a pleasure to cook in, and the steam shower was an amazing treat. We enjoyed the outdoor dining room, the cook’s kitchen and the cozy living room before retiring to the spacious bedrooms. The house is well Insulated and pin-drop quiet at night. We loved the neighborhood too - an absolute treat to stay here!!!
