Guests enter front sidewalk gate (combo padlock). Then unlock driveway padlock (combo padlock), to enter property. Drive to back and park in designated parking spot on back right, next to the cabin. One vehicle if a truck. 2 (1 behind the other) if small to midsized car.
Other things to note
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN ENTRY DRIVE ALONG SIDE FRONT HOUSE, as it could block in/out other front house guests. Or coordinate with front guests if you would like

Note: As I do with all our vacation rentals, I have personally stayed at this property 6 or 7 times, before listing it, and have walked back and forth to the stockyards everytime....during the daytime, early evening, and late night coming
back. I have walked by myself and with others, as have many of our Lady guests. I can tell you that its an easy, and safe walk, with street lights.

The cabin was cozy and we felt at home. The hosts were great if we had any questions they were quick with their responses. We were walking distance from all the shops. It was a nice enjoyable weekend.

We had an amazing stay at this property! The location couldnā€™t have been betterā€”just a short walk or drive to the Stockyards, but it still felt quiet and private. The home was decorated perfectly for the area with a true Western vibe, and it really added to the experience. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we felt safe and relaxed the entire time, even though itā€™s tucked into a neighborhood. David was extremely responsive and provided us with any and everything we needed. Highly recommend this spot if youā€™re visiting the Stockyardsā€”youā€™ll love it!

Cowboy cabin was very conveniently located to Ft. Worth Stockyards. Walking distance for the younger ones. The cabin was very comfortable. It is nicely decorated. We will stay again if ever in the area.

Cozy Cowboy Cabin

We loved our 2 night stay in the Cowboy Cabin! Walking distance to the stockyards, bars, shopping and amazing restaurants. The added detail to the western/Native American decor in the cabin is fitting for the name! Very clean and very peaceful location. Next time we are traveling to that area, we would stay there again. Hosts are wonderful!

Blade Show Texas

We came to town for the Blade Show at the convention center. We have done this show for the last 4 years, and each year, we find a new place to stay. After this yearā€™s stay, we may have found our go-to spot! Great location, and the group loved the house.

Pros- close to stockyard district. 3 block walk. - lots of tv channels- good amenities- outside porch/deck niceCons- very small cold bathroom. No where to set anything. - Floor always cold. - bed in room by bathroom is very high and uncomfortable. Mattress needs to be replaced - near airport and train tracks so that needs to be considered- no dish cloth - furniture in living room is tired and uncomfortable.

A nice place to stay and close to the Stockyards

When we got there at night I was unsure about the place since it was in the backyard of another house.. but it was a very nice place to stay!! There are two different gates to help with security.We were able to Lyft to the Stockyards everyday for a few dollars. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, and it had everything you need for a weekend away!! We definitely recommend!

Great location

We had a wonderful stay. I felt safe once in the gate and house but definitely a rough part of town. If you walk, make sure you are in a group, as sketchy things and gunshots were all around us. The place is as shown. Squeaky clean and cozy.

We had a great time at this great location!

This was a short walking distance to the Stockyards. Everything was as representedā€¦actually even a bit better. I would stay here again and highly recommend. Great condition and perfect for our family of three (college-aged girl). Yā€™all enjoy!

A wonderful little home

Canā€™t beat the location! Within short walking distance to the stockyards, a quiet comfortable neighborhood. Perfect size for 4. We certainly recommend and certainly plan on coming back! The host is incredibly accommodating, thereā€™s nothing like southern hospitality!

Weekend getaway

The little cottage was so cozy and decorated perfectly for the area. We had questions and they were answered immediately and kindly. I highly recommended staying here. The location is perfect. I hope to visit again.

We enjoyed the closeness to the stockyards. Had no issues at all walking back and forth. We were only really in the house to sleep, because we were out having fun! Will book again!
