The location was great, just a few minutes walk to the beach. The pool was a great temperature. There is a train that comes through town and blows its horn so bring earplugs for sleeping if you aren’t used to that. The kitchen was well stocked.

Carpenteria is my go- to vacation location. This was my 3rd trip, 2nd in this lovely condo and I hope to return next year and years to come. The location it perfect, the neighborhood/neighbors are wonderful. I highly recommend this rental

Month long stay

We had a great stay. The apartment was clean and included everything we needed. The property manager was quick to respond to the few questions we had. The location can not be beat!

Adorable beach condo

Great condo for our family of 3. Location is perfect, condo is fully stocked with anything you could need for a beach vacation (and 1/2 a block walk to the sand!), manager is super flexible and easy to get a hold of. Planning on returning soon.

Moving to CA, linking with the beach

A wonderful stay in Carp at the beginning of my move to CA, a super apartment with all amenities at a great location. The host has really supported me greatly in arranging everything, simplifying my arrival and integration to the a super area.

Perfect location

We had a fantastic weekend. This condo is in the perfect location. Just one block from the beach and a 10 min walk into town. The condo itself was very clean and well maintained. The bed is comfortable and the shower pressure is awesome. The owners have everything you need for a fun day at the beach, chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys. I would totally stay here again.

Everything we needed near the beach

We enjoyed our stay. The unit is just a block to the beach, and there were beach chairs, towels, umbrella and boogie board for us to use. Inside, it had everything we needed for meals and relaxation, and the WiFi was strong enough to do work meetings. Communication was great - and they’re actually sending us an important item we left behind, which is so appreciated.

Excellent communication!

Originally we had this trip planned for April 2022, unfortunately, our flights were canceled in Seattle, and we were unable to make it at that time. Sarah, the owner, generously allowed us to postpone our trip until March 2023 instead without any extra fees! Communication with her was quick and easy! The apartment was clean and perfect for our stay! It was a very quick walk to the beach and state park area. In fact, we walked all over town because the location was so great! Highly recommend staying in this lovely apartment!

You can't go wrong with this place

We just wrapped up a 1 month stay at this Carpinteria Beach Getaway and we can't wait to go back. It starts with the response time from the host (who in this case is the property manager NOT the owner)---Sarah is fantastic. Not only does she respond almost instantly but when we told her there were a few things we needed, she had them to us within hours. The condo itself was wonderful for us. It is completely re-done with a very understated beach theme. The one-bedroom was perfect for our stay and when our daughter came for a few days, the Murphy bed in the living room worked our great. We have stayed in a lot of AirBnB's and VRBO's and Time Shares but this is probably the best equipped/best stocked one yet. Every cooking tool and utensil was supplied. The best part is that you are HALF A BLOCK from a beautiful beach. The condo building is an older 2-story one and at one time (1960's) was a motel. The rental unit is at the back of the building with a great view of the mountains. The pool is heated and the laundry room is large enough to accommodate everyone. (they are pay-as-you-clean washers and dryers). My ONLY complaint is that the internet can be slow in the unit. I was working throughout our stay and found that a bit frustrating as well as very low AT&T cell coverage. Finally, never having been to the central coast of California, we had no clue what to expect of Carpinteria. We FELL IN LOVE with this sleepy, beach town that has great restaurants, a wonderful beach and fantastic/friendly residents. Check out Esau's for breakfast and the Island Brewery for great beer. We did rent a car for the month and traveled all around the area. Santa Barbara is basically 10-15 minutes away. Don't miss the Sunday market in Ojai (20 minute drive) or the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library about one hour away in Simi Valley.

Very Comfortable

Upgraded and modern accommodations in apartment complex setting. Close to everything. Walk to beach or downtown for a glass of wine, dinner or shopping. Quiet but train runs through town a couple of blocks away. No horms agfter 9:30 pm or before 8:30 am, so no issues.

Wonderful long weekend stay

My daughter was in town for a lacrosse tournament at the Polo grounds. We thoroughly enjoyed being steps from the beach. The local shopping and dining was also very convenient and within walking distance.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Carpinteria really is a wonderful unspoiled small town. It has a warm feel that makes you relax as soon as you arrive. We love that we can walk to everything. The beach is just steps from our condo and we enjoy walking onto the sand for an early morning jog or evening sunset walk. Excellent restaurants are just a couple blocks away and shopping is also close by. There are many places to hike, bike, and enjoy all the natural beauty Carpinteria has to offer.
