A three-bedroom, two-bath house in Del Ray, minutes from Old Town Alexandria and a short ride into DC. Sleeps up to 8, and two dogs are welcome. Large fenced backyard with a pergola, teak dining table and gas grill. Free and ample street parking, and a 15-minute walk to Braddock Road Metro. The Junction bakery and several good restaurants are a few blocks away. Inside, Danish and Swedish furniture and prints by a well-known Swedish drone photographer.

Del Ray is one of Alexandria's most walkable neighborhoods - tree-lined streets where people walk, run and take their dogs out, and neighbors who actually say hello. The Junction Bakery is a couple of blocks away for coffee and pastries. Matt and Tony's, with a 4.7 Google rating, is a short walk for lunch or dinner. Mount Vernon Avenue, the neighborhood's main street, has shops, restaurants, and a Capital Bikeshare station with 9 docks.

Keys are in a coded lockbox attached to the railing by the front door. I will send you the lockbox code in a message before your arrival.

A three-story house in Del Ray, an adorable neighborhood in Alexandria. The main floor has the family room, dining room and kitchen. The second floor has two bedrooms and a full bath with shower and tub. The basement has one bedroom, a full bath with shower and tub, and a laundry room. The house sleeps up to 8, and two dogs are welcome. For parents with infants, there is a baby crib, a Pack 'n Play, a high chair, and one stair gate. One or two people can also sleep in the living room: the BoConcept L-shaped sofa is quite large and can accommodate someone who wants to sleep on a firm sofa, and there is an inflatable Serta mattress with a built-in air pump that inflates in a few minutes. There is a large backyard and a deck with pergola that has a gorgeous teak dining table with stylish outdoor chairs. There is a gas grill so you can grill steaks or some fresh seafood.

Easy access to DC, Old Town Alexandria and the Braddock Road Metro Station. Free and ample street parking right in front of the house. 15 minute walk or 3 minute car ride to Braddock Road Metro station. Scooter and bike rentals, plus a Capital Bikeshare station, are on Mount Vernon Avenue only two blocks from the house.
