Exactly as described. Walking distance to sugar loaf trail head was such a bonus. Views not as good as expected but still the house was wonderful. Clean and well stocked.

Great location for a relaxing stay

Great place to stay

The location is very close to many restaurants and hikes. House was cozy and comfortable with plenty of space. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very well located! The house was plenty big for our friend getaway party of four. Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Communication with the host was seamless. Overall the stay was wonderful! Only note would be to be aware that one of the bedrooms is more like an office with the bed being a murphy bed. Not terribly uncomfortable just not what we had expected.

Maxwell House

Great location for hiking and biking as well as food and drink. Loved the birds and javelinas too.

Perfect stay in Sedona

Loved the house! Close to everything in town and the trailheads. House was perfect for our needs and exactly how the pictures show it. Beautiful views and perfect for our girls trip!

Location is amazing

The location is great, tons of hiking trails in just 5-10 minutes walk. House is super comfortable, big and with all that you need in the kitchen and bathrooms, you don't feel trapped, super spacious. We had a great time and the family enjoyed a lot of outside time.

Very Nice, perfect actually

We enjoyed our stay and appreciate very much the furnishings, house layout, cleanliness, the modern appliances, and the especially the way the kitchen was stocked with a nice selection of important basics. I would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay

A party of 6 friends stayed comfortably. Very clean, plenty of towels, the kitchen has everything you need. We loved the beautiful location, which is on a quiet street but close to activities, restaurants, shopping. We did star gazing at night as it’s dark enough. I definitely recommend it.

We stayed at Maxwell House Ridge for 9 days 8 nights. The house is spacious and comfortable. We are pleased. However, the check in was terrible. They gave me the code, but I cannot get in. I called the number they gave me several times. The phone system stated-- push one for reservation. push two for guest experience, push 3 for owner listing....etc...there is no choice for "current guest questions". It states if there is any other questions push 6. So, I push 6 and waited for an hour, no answer. I called again and again total 4 hours by pushing 6 (because it asked me to stay online and someone will be with me, but no one ever come online for 4 hours) -- no answer. And I cannot get in the house. Finally, I push one for reservation, Michelle answered right away and walked through the checked in-- she said that I should be slowly to push the code. The checked in experience is terrible. But the staying is good. I hope the management host change your phone system to assistant staying guests. It should states "If you are the current guest with questions, please push 6"...

Great Stay in Sedona

Host was great with multiple forms of communication. The property came as described and the process was overall very easy. Didn't find the mattresses comfortable, but everything else was top notch. Thank you!

Family Room

This property has a great open plan for a family. We enjoyed our stay over Christmas and the dogs were also welcome which was a plus since there was a dog virus going around and kennelling them seemed dangerous. Everyone had their own space as well, there was plenty of room. A grocery store was very close and we were able to find everything we needed. There was a hiking trail in the neighborhood that was very nice. The stairs created a small problem for an elderly family member.

overly strict management company

The house was fine and the management company responded quickly to a problem. I would have rated five stars except that the management company rules and attitude are overly strict and condescending. You want to arrive a few minutes early - 100. Similar on leaving. Picky, overly detailed rules (not presented before making reservation) that you have to sign and return before receiving check in info.

What a location!

We needed to get away from the snowy northeast US, and decided to revisit an area we had explored with family many a year ago. This time just the grownups, with different location needs: Close to waking trails, a food store and, of course, Starbucks.The Maxwell House location checked all three boxes, the trails less than 10 minutes from the front door and the food and coffee at the bottom of a rather long hill. Perfect for early morning 'constitutionals'.The house was clean and very much like the web images. We cooked for ourselves most days, utilizing the surprisingly heavy pots and pans, and exceptionally clean propane grill. Bonus: the kitchen knives were of good quality and had a sharpener to maintain a reasonable cutting edge! This is a rare find in our experience.We had one issue with the coffee pot requesting itself to be descaled (we've all seen that before, eh?). The We Love Vacations maintenance staff exchanged the previous machine for a brand new one within a couple hours of texting them a request. Very much appreciated!Lots of linens, logically located, and all windows with substantial shades to block out the sun when needed. Overall, a comfortable home away from home.
