Extended Stay for Holidays & Business

We specialize in extended stay at our beautiful second floor, self contained apartment with your own entrance. Once a week regular cleaning with fresh sheets and towels is done by my housekeeper as a courtesy. For your convenience parking is right behind apartment next to back gate and below apartment we have a coin operated laundromat with detergent/softener provided. We provide 1 GB Internet Spectrum Speed and wireless setup for better streaming on new 55" Roku TV with free access to Direct TV and Prime Video TV.

Our dogs are part of our family. Two labradoodles and one Yellow Labrador welcome our guests but will give you space once they meet you. We all live in the front downstairs apartment.

The 1940's construction style of the apartment with refinished wood floors, doors, and molding has been recently updated with a modern bathroom and kitchen. The view from upstairs of the beautiful fruit trees and garden makes this a relaxing place to just settle in and enjoy!

One space of parking is available in back of apartment in front of back gate.

We look forward to welcoming you to our home and Long Beach!

Great place to stay

I stayed here a few months while finishing my education. It was a great and safe experience. The location is in a nice area and the dogs on property are the best part 😁 built in friends and security. It's quiet and kept clean by the owner. I definitely recommend staying here as it's a fully stocked location with all the comforts of home.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Denise was a gracious and responsive host, the unit was comfortable and well-appointed, the property was lovely and secure. Great central location. The dogs were sweet and well-behaved. Denise set a high bar for any future longterm stays!

Another five-star stay

We enjoyed our stay in the Magnolia apartment. One thing we didn't know beforehand was that there is another apartment attached to the guest house. There is a longtime renter staying there and even though we saw him pass our window twice a day, we never heard a thing from his apartment. We loved the electric fireplace which looks surprisingly realistic. I opened the fireplace doors and sat right in front of it and it felt realistic too. We started to worry about hot water in the shower because it takes about three minutes to get upstairs, but once it arrives it is super hot. We also loved the view of the orange tree from our sitting room. The only downside we experienced was the dogs barking excessively one day when Denise and Vance were not home. But it was our last day and I did let Denise know about it. Our favorite spots to visit were Signal Hill Park and Del Cerro Park in Palos Verdes.

Sorry about our dogs barking...new neighbors with a dog! Also the apartment has a tank-less water heater (hot water on demand) so it does take a minute or two to heat up. Very happy that your stay was 5 stars...Come back again...denise

Quiet and awesome

Great little place and very clean. Bed was comfy and shower is large. AC rooms in the summer was perfect. Denise accommodated my large truck and I was very grateful. Recommend this place anytime.

Magnifique séjour !

Je recommande a 100% cette location, d’ailleurs si je devais retourner à Los Angeles c’est bien chez Denise et Vance que j’irai ! En plus d’être des personnes adorables et discrètes, nous avons adoré séjourner dans leur dépendance. Nous avons été agréablement surpris par la fonctionnalité de la maison (vous trouverez absolument tout le confort nécessaire et plus encore) et la tranquillité du quartier. La maison reste cependant « loin » du centre de Los Angeles mais ce sont les dimensions incroyablement grandes de LA qui veulent ça, si vous n’avez rien contre un peu de voiture chaque jour foncez ! Je remercie encore mille fois Denise et Vance pour leur hospitalité, pour une première fois aux États Unis nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour.

Great little place- fully equipped ;o)

Denise and her husband (and four fur babies) are very kind and helpful. There are stores near by, a designated parking spot, laundry on site and I feel safe. The home is equipped with everything and Denise checks in to see if I need anything. Couldn't have asked for a better situation. Would definitely recommend this property.

Such a lovely apartment

Great Stay!

This home has everything you need for an extremely comfortable stay. It is quiet, clean, a complete kitchen, a comfortable bed, and even a parking place (which is a rare thing in the Los Angeles area). We would highly recommend this home. Thank you Denise for a wonderful stay!

We loved the apartment! It was everything we needed and more. The property was nicely renovated; very fresh and clean. Well supplied with paper goods, soaps, and cleaning supplies and the kitchen had all the dishes and pans needed. Towels and bedding were very adequate. Also appreciated the laundry room on site. The property was very well secured and had appropriate lighting. The parking space was a huge asset! The owner's dogs were delightful and very well behaved. Even though the owner was away on vacation she provided a very nice substitute property manager that saw to our every need. Thank you, Scott and Della Beall

The guest apartment is part of our residence located in Wrigley area of Long Beach. Wrigley was one of the first communities to be established in Long Beach. The neighborhood was first developed in 1905. The town received its name from William Wrigley, the owner and founder of the well-known Wrigley Spearmint Gum Corporation in Chicago.

The residents are very active in our community organizations which focuses on neighborhood and major city issues.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Of course, nothing can be better than Southern California weather for the sports enthusiasts. The Los Angeles River Bike Path is a half mile from the apartment and bikes can be rented in the area. There are standard stores like grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants nearby, as well as an authentic Mexican market and Mexican, Thai, and Vietnamese eateries.
