We're happy to share "Sam's Beach House", a beloved family home, full of fond memories. Located 2 blocks from the beach, this is the perfect place to unwind and experience the beauty of Belmont Shore, Long Beach’s hidden gem. This home is clean, well-appointed and full of charm. The living room, dining room and kitchen are flooded with light and space. Sam's Beach House features 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, front patio with conversation area, a back patio for eating and relaxing, and washer/dryer facilities.

If cooking is your thing, you’ll enjoy our fully equipped gourmet kitchen, and a formal dining room that seats 6. Or dine al fresco on the outdoor patio, equipped with a dining table and chairs for 4, umbrella and Weber BBQ.

The cottage is located 1/2 block from the popular Belmont Shore 2nd Street Shopping district. There you will find restaurants of every kind, bars, trendy and folksy coffee bars and unique shops and services – all within walking distance. The Belmont Pier and Belmont Shore Beach are within easy walking or biking distance, as is Alamitos Bay Beach. There’s so much to do at The Shore from lounging on the sand (towels provided) to enjoying the scenic 3.1 mile bike path, to renting a kayak to cruise the canals of Naples Island or enjoy a visit to the famous Aquarium and the Rainbow Park Lagoon.

Charming and comfortable home in a lovely neighborhood. Easy 5 minute walk to many restaurants & shops, but on a quiet and residential street. Everything was very clean. There are two nice outdoor patios and though we didn’t have a car, our daughter (who lives in Long Beach) was usually able to find street parking right out front. Host was easy to communicate with and we would stay again next time we visit.

Very cute well-maintained cottage right in the heart of Belmont shores. Easy walk to the beach or restaurants, excellent location!Host is very responsive and will work with you if early check in or late check out is needed. Highly recommend this property for get away trip or family vacation.

It Is The Best!

Perfect location. Perfect bungalow. Host had everything available in the house. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend and would definitely book if we were to return to SoCalWould covered from charging station

Beautiful home in a perfect location

House is cozy and well equipped for cooking and enjoying indoor activities and/or outdoor space with its front and back yard. The quick walk to Second Street and the beach make it an ideal location.

Idyllic, relaxing, quiet space to rest and rejuvenate

My family and I have rented several vacation homes, but we’ve never had the experience we had in this beautiful cottage. Not one detail was forgotten, and there were so many small surprises and pleasant details that I can’t imagine we’ll be staying anywhere else when we visit Long Beach. Our hostess went well above and beyond anything we’ve ever experienced. The property was quiet, clean, relaxing, and left nothing to be desired. The area was safe and inviting, the beach was a very short, pleasant walk away, and the local shops and restaurants were amazing.

Lovely cottage in great location

Before we arrived, i received a detailed welcome packet that told us all about the cottage, the codes to access it upon check in, it's contents and local restaurants and attractions. The hostess was so friendly and helpful. The cottage was stocked with so many extras that made our stay better. Beach chairs,a cooler, bikes, coffee, paper plates, etc. We would definitely return!!

This place really is the best

Staying in Suzanne’s cottage is like visiting the home of an old friend. The beds are comfortable, and the living room, dining room, and kitchen are spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with pot, pans, spices, and small appliances, and the Suzanne leaves out some nonperishable snacks to greet you. The house is in a great location with tons of food options within a few blocks. We did not have a car except for one day-trip to Orange County for whale watching. There is so much within walking or biking distance or any easy bus or Lyft ride away. Suzanne is a very attentive host, and I highly recommend this cottage.

Beach stay with grandma and grampa

The cottage was the perfect spot to be. Beaches are close, lots of choices for good eating, a day trip to Disney, and a home away from home feel at the cottage. It provided for all our needs and more and Suzanne was an amazing host. We would definitely use this cottage again!

Beach Cottage

Great location near 2nd Street and a couple of blocks from the beach. Quite neighborhood. Very clean. Comfortable bed and well stocked and organized kitchen. Would definitely stay here again. Many thanks for a delightful stay!!!

Perfect beach getaway home

Why would you stay at a faceless hotel when you could stay at this perfect little home by the beach. Indoor space is perfectly sized for 4 adults with a full kitchen, living room and two great sized bedrooms, outdoors you can enjoy a private back yard dining space and out front sit in a great little spot in the front yard and engage with your neighbors and passersby. The ocean, bay and restaurants and bars are all within an easy walk of the house. On street parking is hit and miss to get right outside the house, but just drive down the street till you find a spot, if you move your car while you’re staying, you’re doing something wrong! We have stayed at several rentals in this area, this is by far our favorite. We took the bikes out for a nice relaxing cycle along the beach path and stopped for a cocktail (or 2!) along the way. The hosts were so accommodating and let us check in early at no additional cost as they had no bookings the day before our arrival and checked in with us everyday. This place is a hard 5/5 stars.

Short trip, perfect location

This was the perfect house for my adult daughter and me. The house came fully equipped with everything we needed. We were able to cook as if we were in our own home because of all the available pans and utensils. The air conditioning was an added bonus. Loved the easy keyless entry and exit. The beds were comfortable and the decor was inviting. The walk to the beach was so easy! Before arriving, I was afraid parking would be an issue, but thankfully we were always able to get a spot nearby every time. Thanks for a great stay!

Awesome place to stay and visit

Charming cottage. Had a great stay enjoying all the Long Beach area has to offer. Cottage was immaculate and had everything needed and more! The owner communcated very well and timely for our stay. Highly recommend this cottage!

Fantastic beach bungalow

Great! Just like all the ratings and reviews. 1 block to 2nd street for food, drinks and shopping. A few blocks from beach. Great kayaking in the Naples canals! Very nice outdoor seating areas to unwind with a glass of wine. This house met all our needs and then some. Very likely to return next year!!
