Freshly painted with new furniture, lamps, rugs, fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, cooler, and more - it's the perfect place to enjoy everything St Simons Island has to offer. We have a new "work from home" area set up for those that need have to work while away complete with a large desk, Herman Miller office chair, printer and more.

You'll love the LOCATION! You can walk to everything shops, book stores, restaurants, grocery store, seafood market, Chick-fil-a, Starbucks and more! Red Fern Village is a walk or bike ride away. The property is situated in the back of the community, overlooking tranquil green space, perfect for the dogs to enjoy while you grill out and swing in the bench swing, all so close to the pool. Parking is easy. It's truly home away from home. Come visit, grab a bike and go explore the island. We promise you'll be back!

The Island's invitingly mild weather is ideal for beach combing, bird watching, golfing, boating, fishing, shopping, or exploring. Island Retreat condo 2025

Very nice property. Condo was very clean and accommodating. Stocked with everything you may need or forgot .. Host (Jenny) was very responsive to questions and in a timely manner. I do recommend this property.

Relax in fine furnishings

This is a first class rental. Wonderful appliances, furnishings, kitchen ware,and towels. It was incredibly peaceful too.

Very Nice

We had a wonderful stay. Check-in was easy, the home was stocked on arrival and we had all the essentials, which made the stay even nicer. It's located in a convenient location, near quite a bit of shopping. The island was pretty busy, but it was over spring break, so not super surprising. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect week on the Ga coast!

My husband, 3 kids and I very much enjoyed our stay here. We booked a whole week so that we could enjoy time at the beach and explore the area. We visited Jekyl to see the sea turtles and driftwood beach and St Simon’s to see the pier and lighthouse. I wanted to see Fort Frederica and the avenue of the oaks, but we cut our trip a little short due to Hurricane Helene. The condo was very nice and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was surprisingly stocked with seasonings and everything you might need to cook! Also super grateful for the spare beach towels 😆 check in and out was super easy and I appreciated the owners communication. Just reading their guest book I could tell many many families felt the same about their stay as well :) can’t wait to come back next year!

This has to be the cleanest, most well stocked condo that I've ever stayed in. I highly recommend it! And the amenities were far beyond expectations. Location was great as wrll.

The perfect vacation

This is the best equipped and best kept VRBO I have ever stayed in and we have done a lot. Kudos to the hosts. Location is close to the best restaurants, a shirt drive to the beach and quiet. Lovely!! Book it with no worries!

Relaxing Getaway!

We had a wonderful time at Jenny and Scott's house! The home was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed playing tennis and using the bikes, although one of the bikes was not usable. Once they found out, though, the owners agreed to try to fix it. We loved that we could bring our dog, too!

St Simons Island Trip

The condo was immaculate. Kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals. There were many other items in the unit to make our visit stress free. The pool was beautiful and East Beach was only about 7 minutes away. We had a wonderful visit and would certainly return.

Exceptional start to finish !

The property was in a great location, relative to a lot of amenities. Easy to navigate the area. The unit was clean, bright, and accommodated every need. Jenny and Scott Stallings know how to 'do a rental'...they were super responsive, and the accommodations were complete ...everything you need has been thought of !

Perfect getaway

I was so happy to spend the week in this beautiful condo in St Simon’s. The layout was perfect for me and my young adult daughter…we both had our own ample space for rest and relaxation. The location was perfect and central to everything St Simons offers. The owner was lovely and accessible and we loved the pool area too! Will definitely make this choice again!

Spring Break!

We had a great week at this condo! It was nice and clean, had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable! The location was wonderful! Our teenagers could walk to the store and to fast food very easily! My daughter rode her bike to the beach one day, thankful there was a sidewalk the entire way! Also wonderful they accomodated dogs. Our dog had a wonderful time too and really enjoyed the comfy dog bed that was there! The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had!

Picture perfect and so so clean!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo! We couldn’t get over how clean it was. It was stocked with all the essentials and more. The location was perfect. So close to everything. We enjoyed the provided bikes and swinging on the swing in the backyard. Questions were answered immediately by Jenny and Scott. It was our first visit and it most certainly will not be our last. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

Just as pictured

This is a lovely well equipped condo in a gated community. It was very quiet and perfect with our dog. The yard area has doggie bags and a nice grassy area. The condo is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for your stay. Shopping is close by . Great communication.

Relaxing weekend

The condo was great! There are two main things we look for in a VRBO, cleanliness and owner/manager response. Both were 5⭐️. We had trouble unlocking the door upon arrival (our fault) and both Jenny and Scott immediately responded. The condo is beautiful and well maintained. Would love to come back and spend about a week. Also, great location.

Awesome Place

Dog friendly place with a cute back yard and very close to shopping and restaurants. We loved St Simon Island and Jeckell Island too. Both places were loaded with History. We went on trolly rides, Dolphen tour boat, the beach close to us and The Driftwood Beach on Jeckell Island. (must see). This was on my Bucket List!

Great week at SSI

Well appointed condo that fit our needs well with our doggie! Owners were engaged and responsive. Really enjoyed all the amenities like beach chairs, bikes and the welcome snacks & waters! Would definitely stay here again!

St Simmons drippy

Alot of rain but... the beach is still a great vacation even with rain! We had a nice day at the beach on Thursday. We had dinner at Demer Grill, Barbara Jeans and The Crab Trap... good food at all of them. Thank you for sharing your condo with us we loved it...

Scott and I are Realtors. We are grandparents and dog parents, sailors and serious travel junkies! We both have a hospitality background. We are super excited to have you as our guest and hope you enjoy your stay as much as we have enjoyed making "Swept Away@SSI" perfect! We may be out sailing, but we are always available through the messaging platform, via cell or email. We have a local maintenance and cleaning crew on-call for any and all issues (which there shouldn't be, but just incase - we have a plan in place.)

We chose this property because of the LOCATION! It's fantastic! You can walk or ride bikes to EVERYTHING and anything. We love that it's gated, lightly populated and shrouded in beautiful live oaks and Spanish moss. I loved that it has a private pool, tennis, pickleball, and a fitness center and that there is a big green space behind our building where our dogs could chase a ball. We especially like the fact that we can walk out the gates to multiple restaurants, a grocery store, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, lots of fun shops, and a seafood market!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This is just an easy place to stay for vacation. It's clean, updated, the pool is right there with a playground, tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness center and it's never ever busy. The location is super walkable and there are bike paths all the way to the beaches & the Pier Village. You can also rent a golf cart nearby and have plenty of parking for it right in front of our building.
