After a busy day exploring Blue Ridge, come back to Skyfall to unwind in the lodge-style living room. It features a large stone fireplace, a big screen TV, large windows, and easy deck access. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and plenty of cooking tools and dishes. Get ready in the spa-like bathrooms and escape to peaceful bedrooms at night. Kids will especially love the bunk room, and everyone will appreciate shuffleboard, pool, arcade games, and a huge sofa with a big screen TV in the game room!

R & R Fall Get Away

A perfect home away from home, perfect for relaxing. Wonderful views. Hosts go overboard with the amenities that are available. Couldn’t have asked for a better place. Hopefully we will be able to return in the future.

PERFECT FAMILY CABIN! SPECTACULAR VIEWS!

This cabin was absolute PERFECTION for my family. The views were absolutely incredible and breathtaking - beautiful mountain views all around us. The entire home was thoroughly cleaned. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (coffee pot, cooking utensils, even smores toaster forks). The decor was so homey and beautiful - the owners really put thought and effort into everything. The downstairs game room was a hit with our kids. We did not want to leave! We will DEFINITELY be back and cannot wait!

Poor management

First of all, the cabin was clean and beautiful and the view is stunning. However, we had issues with lack of response from the management during our stay. We had bad weather and a temperature change on the first night of our trip, which I feel contributed to the following issue. The next morning, when we attempted to leave the cabin, the door would not close behind us as if the door had swelled and no longer fit in the frame. We called the rental company and explained the issue and they told us they would place an urgent work order request and send someone to fix the door that day. However, no one ever showed up. The following morning, we again called the rental company and they were very apologetic and stated they would place a call to the dispatch team and someone would be there that day to fix it. Again, no one ever showed up. The following day was our checkout day so we called to let them know that the door was still unable to be closed or secured as it had still not been repaired. The entire weekend was very stressful, as we were nervous leaving all of our things in a cabin when we were gone with no way to secure the door. We also had 2 nights of very restless sleep as it is very unnerving trying to sleep in a dark cabin in the mountains with a door that will not shut or lock. One member of our family had to sleep on the couch each night to be near the doorway in order for us to feel more secure. There were other minor issues as well that we reported and would not have been a big deal if it weren't for the fact that we were already frustrated due to the issue with the door and lack of response with the company. These issues include lights being out, plugs not working, Buck Hunter arcade game guns not operational, and an empty propane tank on the grill which we discovered as we tried to cook the steaks we had purchased and ended up having to buy a replacement in order to use.

Our guests' safety is very important to us, and we sincerely apologize that you felt as if you were not safe because the door was not closing properly. Your concerns are very concerning to us as well, and your feedback has been shared with all involved departments to see how we can improve to prevent this from being the experience of any future guests. This issue has since been resolved post-stay, along with your other concerns and reported issues. We hope that you are able to return to the Appalachians in the near future for a more enjoyable experience, regardless of where you may stay.

Christmas reunion

Our family of 8 came together from all over from Germany to Hawaii to be together for Christmas. Everything we needed was there not to mention the cozy cabin with a game room and most incredible view! The beds were amazing, the kitchen was well stocked. They even brought us extra fire wood so that we could enjoy the outdoor fireplace for multiple fires. We didn’t even need to leave and enjoyed much needed family time. I would definitely stay here again!!

Mountain top luxury

The property was so nice and very tastefully decorated. The views are fabulous of the mountains and gorgeous sunrises. Floor to ceiling windows on the mountain sides provided the beautiful views. Decks were great and we really enjoyed the outdoor fireplace.

The ottoman was broke, bar stools need to be repaired and shower curtain downstairs to short water got on floor. Several items to be fixed. However everything else was perfect. Thank you for your kind words. Just letting you know the ottoman has been removed and the chair that went with the ottoman has been replaced. The large ottoman in the living room has also been rewelded to insure safety. The bar stools have also been replaced and the shower curtains were replaced with full length curtains.

Although it’s a good bit away from most things, we loved how quiet it was, and the views were absolutely incredible. The cabin was well stocked with kitchen utensils and dishware/pans. The furnishings were beautiful. The only reason I didn’t give the overall stay 5 stars is because things were a bit unclean and lots of pieces were missing from the wonderful games in the rec room— a ball was missing from the bumper pool table, a pin was missing from the bowling pins, the shuffleboard table needed sand, etc. Apparently there had been a bachelorette party there before because we saw lots of pink sequins on the floor, and my son found a plastic toy phallus on the floor of the rec room. LOL! We all have a good sense of humor so no harm done, but it did make me wonder if the carpet had been vacuumed well. Even though things weren’t perfect, it was still a wonderful cabin, and we would definitely stay again. It really felt like home. And that rec room/kid bunk bed room downstairs is a wonderful idea! Kids stayed down there, sat out on the porch, and played/watched tv. They said it felt like a little basement apartment. We had a great time hiking and white water rafting and just hanging around the cabin on the porch with that heavenly view. The ladies in the office were so friendly and helpful in helping me prepare to travel there. Thank you, ladies!! Such a great trip! Thank you! Can’t wait to go back!

The bee was absolutely amazing, conveniently located, stocked well enough for me to cook a Christmas dinner (lots of pots, pans and dishes- the only thing I missed was a strainer). The most important thing... the cabin was very clean. I am OCD and normally spend my first day cleaning places we stay. We travel quite often. We have definitely seen a variety of things. It was so nice to step into this cabin and begin to relax instead of clean before I relax. We will definitely return. A very strong 5 star cabin for me!! Thank you!

We were here for 4 nights 4 days, everything was taken care of for us by the rental company. Any minor issues we had (pilot light on the gas fireplace inside was off and would not re-light) was immediately taken care of for us without interfering with our plans. The views were gorgeous, the cabin was in great shape, towels and blankets as well as firewood And hot chocolate was provided for us. would strongly recommend this stay!!

Perfect Getaway....

Clean, big enough for everyone, and the most beautiful view! Had a minor power issue with stove, but the property manager was incredibly responsive and was there within the hour to fix the issue. Would DEFINITELY recommend!
