Escape to "Trout Pond," a rustic lakefront cabin on Lake Wylie for up to 6 guests. This retreat features stunning views from a large deck, a private beach, and a floating dock. Enjoy a cozy wood fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and direct lake access for boating and fishing. Perfect for a serene getaway with modern comforts, just minutes from local shops and dining.
Step inside our welcoming, rustic cabin and make yourself at home. The main living area is designed for relaxation and connection.

LIVING AREA:
Comfortable sofa (converts to a queen-sized sleeper)
Mesmerizing natural wood fireplace
55-inch Smart TV with cable and WiFi

KITCHEN & DINING:
Fully appointed and equipped with a full suite of appliances, including an updated refrigerator and freezer.
Dining table with seating for four.
Coffee options: French Press and Keurig coffee maker.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
Master Bedroom: Queen bed and a 50-inch Smart TV.
Second Bedroom: Queen bed and a 50-inch Smart TV.
Living Room: Queen-sized sleeper sofa.

BATHROOM:
Upstairs bathroom features a shower/tub combination.
Large, well-lit vanity with supplies provided.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
Large rustic deck with scenic lake views.
Private beach area.
Large floating dock for lake access.
Brand new cedar outdoor shower to rinse off after a day on the water.
The property is an ideal home base for hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and birding.

Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire cabin and the surrounding property, including the deck, private beach, and boat dock. For your convenience and a seamless check-in, the home is equipped with a keyless entry system. You will receive your unique access code before arrival.

We believe in giving our guests complete privacy to enjoy their retreat. We will not be present during your stay but are always available via the booking platform or by phone should you have any questions or need assistance.

Stairs Required: This is a multi-level property. As is common for homes on Lake Wylie, there are many stairs leading down to the boat dock and beach. Guests must be comfortable and able to climb stairs.

Security System: For your safety and protection, the property is monitored by a video surveillance security system on the exterior of the home.

This was a beautiful cabin with all the modern updates, but the old feel will definitely stay here again. The host had everything perfect and the views were amazing. Recommend this to anyone.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Trout Pond! From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, the experience is wonderful. The home is beautifully renovated while still keeping its cozy cottage charm. The lights leading to the dock make the whole area feel truly magical. It’s the perfect spot to relax, yet still close to so many great things to do.The real highlight, though, wasn’t just the house, it was the lovely Allen Trout. During our stay, we had a small issue with the air conditioner, and within 30 minutes Allen was at the house working to figure out the problem. He was so friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable.Allen is a big part of why we would absolutely stay again. 10/10 would recommend this beautiful space for your next trip!

Great Views and Location

Stayed here with my family and friends for a few days to relax and we had a very peaceful week. Beautiful views from the house overlooking the lake and very large dock with deck to lay out and enjoy the sunshine. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful stay at Steele Creeke

We had a great 3 night stay at Steele Creek. The cabin was just as advertised - with a very nice dock where we kept a 26 ft pontoon boat during our stay. Allen was an excellent host who was very responsive throughout the booking process and during our stay.

Beautiful and charming lakeside home

Home was charming and welcoming! Perfect cozy and quiet lakeside house. We had a blast at the lake and the home had everything we needed for a great stay. Our family had a great vacation here! House had all the amenities we could have wanted for a visit to the lake. Will visit again!

What a great spot. Photos don’t do it justice. Open floor plan on first floor, whole place tidy and comfortable. Such a private and relaxing view above the lake, from two different levels, the patio, and then the large upper deck. We saw turtles, heron, fireflies, and the fish were jumping. There’s a covered portion of the dock with a picnic table, and a separate floating dock with a swim ladder. Jumping in the lake is recommended!

Perfect Lake Getaway

The house is really cute! Decorated stocked well with necessities. It was the perfect location right on the lake. We did not get a chance to use the patio around that over looks the lake but it has these amazing rocking chairs on. I was so impressed with the bed I am on the hunt for a bed just like it for home. It was everything we could have asked for and we will definitely be back.

Great Place to stay

It’s hard to find an affordable place for a family of 5. The house was great and Allen was very responsive. There is a lot of stairs which is in the description so be aware of that. The house had everything we needed and the location is great. You’ll get some great sunsets here!

Continue to explore upstairs as you enter the spacious master bedroom with its newly appointed Queen comforter and decorative pillows. Tastefully decorated with rustic furnishings you’ll be delighted no matter which bedroom you choose to fall into a peaceful slumber. Sleeping arrangements are 1st bedroom with Queen bed with large 50" Smart TV, 2nd bedroom - with Queen also with large 50" Smart TV. The living room features a Queen oversized sleeper sofa and a large 55" Smart TV. This delightful natural lake cabin sleeps 6 adults comfortably in beds.
