SIMPLE PLEASURES - Beautiful Tilghman Beach home with private pool

This fabulous beach house is located on North Ocean Boulevard in Tilghman Estates, and North Myrtle Beach and across the street from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Simple Pleasures sits on a large corner lot with a large private pool and beautiful tropical landscaping.

Hardwood and ceramic tile floors are throughout the vacation rental. The upper level features a great room in the middle of the house that is perfect for socializing, games and dining. The well equiped kitchen is open to the great room and includes a breakfast bar, stainless steel oven and microwave, side by size refrigerator and dishwasher. Each side of the center greatroom includes two bedrooms and a bath with a privacy hall that separates the sleeping quarters from the living quarters. The upstairs screened porch is furnished with wicker group seating and is a great spot reading, relaxing and enjoying good conversation with friends and loved ones.

Downstairs you'll find a living and dining area, kitchenette and laundry area in the center of the home. There is also a bedroom and bath on one side and two bedrooms with two baths on the other side of the downstairs living area.

For outside enjoyment and relaxation there is a front covered porch with rocking chairs, plenty of fenced back yard with a large private pool and a grill for barbequing. Simple Pleasures has everything you need for a North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina vacation. If your pleasure is walking, biking or sunning on the wide sandy beach, water activities in the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, golfing at any of the 100 plus golf courses, world class shopping at malls, outlets and boutiques, enjoying the many entertainment theaters or dancing the night away--you will have unforgettable experiences and a wonderful vacation here!

Prices may be subject to additional taxes, fees, linens, departure cleaning and damage deposit. Motorcycles, campers, boats and trailers of any kind are not allowed. There is a six (6) vehicle limit permitted. Rentals to families and responsible adults over the age of 25 only. Pets and house parties are not allowed. This is a non-smoking property.

Perfect spot for a family get together.

This property was a perfect for our family vacation and parents 50th wedding anniversary. The house was very clean, the owner very responsive to any questions or needs and the backyard and pool created many fond memories. We had a great time in NMB and this house and location meet all or needs and more.

Nice clean and comfortable location with easy beach access. Large pool was a well enjoyed feature of the house. Great water pressure in showers and kitchen well stocked.

Beautiful home and very clean. Check in was easy and everything you need for your stay is right there. Wonderful location too. Jean was an absolute delight to work with and she communicated as needed throughout our stay. The house accommodated our large family perfectly. Highly recommend Simple Pleasures!! We hope to be back again next year!

Perfect vacation hime

Large, tasteful and comfortable 7 bedroom 5 bath home with private pool, easy and short walk to the beach and beautiful landscaping. Our family of 11 adults and 7 children absolutely loved it!!!

Awesome Beach House!

Property manager was very helpful and responded quickly to any issues. Location is absolutely amazing! House is spacious for multiple families! Pool was the highlight for all ages! Only issue was grill was very old and needs to be replaced.

Family Vacation

I was so happy with this location. We were literally across the street from the beach. When we weren't at the beach we enjoyed the big pool. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. There was a television in every room. This felt like a home instead of just a house rental. Jean, the owner, was so accommodating. The house is a little bit older but really has charm.

Family trip

This house was great for our 11 family members, ages 3-66 to get together. Lots of space, great private pool, well-stocked kitchen, making it easy to eat at home. The beach is right across the street, in a less populated area, so perfect for taking the kids there. Unfortunately, our first two nights were very loud because of some kind of motorcycle event that resulted in bikes driving past on Ocean Drive at all hours. Much quieter after the weekend ended. The screened in porch was a very nice spot to hang out but no beach view. This is an older home but well cared for. We rented the linens with the house and they were sub-par. Sheets didn’t fit the beds well and towels were thin hotel towels. Nothing to ruin our stay but an area for improvement. All in all, a lovely week in North Myrtle Beach at Simple Pleasures.

Great location

This is a nice house with a short walk to the beach. Kids enjoyed the pool and the yard. It has big yard with grass to play outdoor games.

Lovely Week

We were comfortable & happy to be together after months of semi- quarantine. We stuck close to home, and only outings were to the beach, which was a very easy walk across the street. It was an awesome time for us - just what we hoped it would be! Jean couldn’t have been nicer - made us feel welcome.

Good multi-family accomodations

The layout of the home works well for different family groups. Both floors have a lot of room for visiting, especially the upstairs which is open and spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped. The nearness to the beach access is a plus but the biggest plus is the pool. It is large, beautiful, well maintained and where we spent an enormous amount of time. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Jean Pritchett, the owner.

Fantastic Family Getaway

We loved our stay here! We had 3 families together for Thanksgiving. The property just a few steps to the beach and an excellent location. There was plenty of room for our group and the place was well taken care of and clean! We would love to stay here again!

Great home close to the beach!

Family Thanksgiving Get together

This property was excellent for our purpose. Family members joined us from Texas and South Carolina for Thanksgiving. The property is spacious and clean and the location is excellent. Our relatives visiting from Texas was so excited about the space and location of the property. In fact, it is exactly as shown in all the photos that on line. I didn't expect the place to be so like the photos on line. We had more than enough room for the number of relatives that were celebrating Thanksgiving together. We've decided to do this again in the near future and hope this property is available for rent.

Super Lovely Beach Home

This home has the space and qualities needed for a wonderful family vacation! The backyard swimming pool was a favorite place for us. Each corner of the pool has steps and there is a ledge around the perimeter. So, the pool was especially great in helping young children increase their swimming skills. It is also big enough for grown ups to get some lap swimming in. We also loved our trips to the beach. There was never a problem for us in crossing the street. It is a short walk to the beach. The ocean water was warm and the beach itself just great. We have made reservations for next summer!

Summer Beach Trip

We held our 12th Annual Family Beach Trip at Simple Pleasures this past summer and had a fantastic time. The house was big enough to accommodate all 18 of us (8 adults - 10 children ages 2-12 years old). The biggest surprise was the great salt water pool and big back yard!!! We spent a lot of time there and it was a big pool and we had room to play badminton and corn-hole in the yard. We were initially concerned about the traffic on the road we had to cross to get to the ocean but it really was never a problem crossing it even with all of the little ones. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils (maybe too many plates and glasses) but we could have used a little more space for groceries and although towels were provided there was a need for hand towels and kitchen towels. Overall I would give Simple Pleasures a "Two Thumbs Up" and would highly recommend it for a vacation spot to consider. It is close to everything and the owners, Jean and James Pritchett, are a pleasure to work with!

Amazing Extended Family Reunion

Our extended family group of 11 adults and 4 children (ages 5 through 85) stayed at Simple Pleasures the week of June 24 - July 1. The house was perfect - beautifully decorated, well maintained and clean. The highlight of the property is the large pool and yard; even though Simple Pleasures is across the street from the ocean, we had a difficult time tearing ourselves away from the house. Jean was terrific to work with and responded to every question we had, both before and after our arrival. We've already booked our 2018vacation, and look forward to spending another great week at Simple Pleasures!

Wonderful vacation!

This house is everything that you see in the pictures. We were very pleased when we arrived. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room. The outside was just as nice with a beautiful pool and landscaping. I would highly recommend a vacation at Simple Pleasures. Thank you and hope to come back very soon!!!

Our Home Away From Home

This is the fifth time our large family has rented Simple Pleasures and the name certainly owns up to this beautiful home. The location is so close to all the amenities but it feels like you are in a place all your own. Its quiet and surrounded by all the privacy you could want. It is an older beach home that has all the charm of long ago, but it is updated all around. That is one thing we like about this beach house, the owners are always updating/repairing the home to keep it at its best. All the furnishings are top quality, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked for large groups, and all the appliances are large capacity. Our large family loves this beach house and highly recommend it to big groups. We've already rented Simple Pleasures again for next summer!!
