Beautiful View...and a short walk to Boardwalk!

Amazing location and views, this house captures the very essence of Santa Cruz. Walk to boardwalk, Seabright beach, the wharf, the yacht harbor, downtown Seabright and its variety of restaurants,......there are so many choices, you may choose not to drive during your entire stay.....And with our open floor plan, large windows, huge deck, and amazing views, you may choose not to even leave the house.

This house is perfect for a family retreat. The 35 foot long deck offers amazing views, a BBQ, and tables and chairs for outdoor dining. The dining room/great room has a large table with seating for 8 but can easily hold 10. A large supply of games and puzzles offers more family fun time around the table. Walk downstairs to a huge 'hangout' room that boasts a large flat screen TV with satellite and DVD. There is a love seat, easy chair, sofa/sleeper, and papazan chair for comfortable seating. There are also extra sleeping mats and bean bag chairs in the closets.

The master bedroom offers a queen bed, large flat screen with Dish TV and DVR, and a magnificent view. Bedroom 2 offers a queen bed, and bedroom 3 has a king bed and Dish TV. This house is ideally set up to be shared by two families. With 3 bedrooms and baths, each couple can have their own bedroom, while the kids can pull out the sofa sleeper, throw down some of the provided floor mats, and have a sleep-over in the family room.

For your enjoyment we also provide 2 beach cruisers, a beach umbrella, beach chairs, boogie boards, and an ice chest.

For added convenience and comfort we supply all towels and linens, toilet paper and paper towels.

Come fall in love with our house as so many others have done.

Location to the Beach Boardwalk can not be beat! We celebrated my son’s 18th birthday and let him invite friends. The four boys took over the downstairs living area while my husband, daughter and I stayed upstairs. We were blessed with beautiful weather and roasted S’mores on the fire pit in the back. Highly recommend this place for families going to the Boardwalk! Spacious, plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

The location is wonderful. Very close to beach and boardwalk and in a clean, safe neighborhood with stunning views from the expansive, well furnished balcony. It is not fancy inside but extremely clean and comfortable with two living rooms and a table for 10. Lauren texted the day before to make sure we had access information and was very helpful and friendly.

Great location, easy accessibility to the freeway, in and out of the area.The house was everything that was advertised. The patio was a great place to relax after our daily excursions and the beds were very comfy. We were very pleased.

We had a wonderful stay! The indoor and outdoor dining area and balcony patio with the viewer spectacular! The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable, with plenty of bedding. Great washer and dryer! Having two water heaters was awesome. Having full size laundry was very handy since we were in town for a race. Our host has a nice closet set up with laundry detergent batteries extra cleaning supplies shampoo conditioner etc. Plenty of hand soap. Much appreciated.A couple of quirky things that might need some attention would be a coffee maker that spit grounds into our coffee and the kitchen is a bit disorganized. Also, there are two metal sheet pans, neither of which actually fit into the oven that is there, so that was a bit of an issue, we made it work somewhat sideways and tilted. There are some mismatched lids etc. Otherwise no complaints whatsoever. We would gladly stay in this home again and we so enjoyed our friends and family in the space. Thank you!

The view was spectacular. The house was extremely cozy and spacious. The host was very accommodating and had great communication with us. The location was perfect for trips to the beach and the boardwalk. We will be back!

Perfect Family Spot

We had a wonderful time. The house is equipped for a family stay. And, since we had every age group - toddler to over 70 - we were delighted to be in this house, this location, so close to the beach.

Walking distance to the boardwalk, beach, and Verve coffee and Seabreeze Cafe. Easy to bike from there. House is good for families. Host is easy to communicate with.

Great house near the Beach Boardwalk

This was a great house near the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Since you could walk there, you don’t have to pay for parking and they don’t charge admission, so you could go anytime, very convenient. The house itself is a little older, but still really nice even though it’s screaming to be upgraded. Great deck with a great view. No TV in the living room which was annoying and refreshing at the same time. Needs to have some sort of Bluetooth sound system though. All in all, the house was everything we needed it to be. But the location was the best part.

Great location for Boardwalk

We walked twice to the Boardwalk with our kids, 4 and 8 and it was so easy. We walked to the park behind and up through the neighborhood of lovely historical mansions with their beautifully fragranced manicured gardens spilling into the sidewalk... Walked to 2 restaurants for dinners (5-6 blocks) and to the market for supplies (this walk was about 1/2 mi. ea way) Love the city lights at night. Beds are decent...kitchen definitely needs upgraded...we like to cook and this worked out fine.

In Santa Cruz for a wedding

My husband and I and two adult daughters (not their spouses or college age kids) enjoyed ourselves in this perfect for us place. We were busy with festivities so spent little time “at home”. Would have liked to spend time on that great deck. It was a little chilly though.

Stunning house and perfect location

When you first pull up to this property, it is very unassuming… But the minute you open the door the first words out of your mouth will be “WOW! The door opens to this large living and kitchen area and your eyes go straight to the amazing view out the back windows of the house… the view off the back deck is stunning and is perfect for sitting out there and watching the sunset… It is literally a short walk to the boardwalk, which is amazing considering parking down there is 25… This place was so conveniently located for Boardwalk activities… The inside of the house was very spacious… It is stocked with more than enough blankets, pillows, and towels… I will definitely be booking this place for all my trips to Santa Cruz.

Gorgeous View!!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The balcony is gigantic and has wonderful views of the river. The home itself is much larger than it appears in the pictures. The bedrooms are huge, everything is perfectly clean, kitchen is well stocked with equipment, and the furniture (including the beds) is very comfortable. The owner was very accessible and responded immediately to any question we had. My only slight complaint is the description that it is "5 houses from the boardwalk" is a little misleading. It's 5 houses away, down a big hill, over the river and then a bit of a walk after that. Highly recommend this property and will definitely stay there again the next time we are in town.

My husband and I have finally fulfilled our long term goal of moving to Santa Cruz and we could not be happier. We are enjoying walking along West Cliff Dr. everyday, gardening, taking art classes, the multitude of restaurants that this city offers and much more. After many years of craziness with kids and a husband who was in business for himself, this slower pace is a very welcome change.

My husband Rick and I bought this property because we knew that we would regret it for the rest of our lives if we didn't. The opportunity of a location this great within walking distance of so much, plus the bonus of a beautiful view was too much to pass up. In fact, I wasn't aware, but my husband had been eyeballing this side of this particular street for years. Our house is built over a ravine so the back yard has a panoramic view of open space, the San Lorenzo River, and the Boardwalk.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We enjoy walking to Boardwalk, the wharf, Seabright beach, the yacht harbor, Java Junction for coffee, Linda's Seabreeze cafe for breakfast, Betty's Burgers for any kind of burger you want, the Seabright Brewery for a beer, and the local museum in Seabright for a little bit of native history. We also enjoy bringing our bikes down to the path that runs along the San Lorenzo River and taking it into downtown Santa Cruz.
