Sandy Bottoms Beach House is Gulf front, right on the Fort Morgan beach! The beach at Sandy Bottoms is shared by only 4 houses and is rarely crowded, so you should have no problem staking out your own personal space on the beach with plenty of room! You can be on the beach in just a short two minute walk from the house! (Please note that our listing details indicate that it is an 18 minute walk to the beach. This is not accurate.)

There is a minimum stay of 4 nights in Spring, Fall, and Winter, and 7 nights in Summer. Summer season is weekly only, from Saturday to Saturday. (Please note that the maximum number of guests is 6, including all adults and children. Also, no pets are allowed. The minimum age to rent is 25 years.)

Sandy Bottoms is a warm, comfortable, cozy beach front home with character plus! View of dunes, sugar white sand, sunrise, sunset, and the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico! You will feel right at home the minute you walk in the door!

Sandy Bottoms is located on the Fort Morgan Peninsula, about 15.5 miles from the intersection of Fort Morgan Road (Highway 180 West) and Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. You can arrive at your peaceful home away from home in minutes!

If it is peaceful relaxation and uncrowded spaces you desire, the Fort Morgan Peninsula is the place to be! Fort Morgan is surrounded by water, with Mobile Bay on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other - the most beautiful natural beaches in the area. Steeped in history, it is a place where nature abounds. The coastal dunes between the house and the Gulf are habitat for the endangered Alabama beach mouse and nesting sea turtles! You won't see high rise, high density condo buildings in our area! You will feel like you have come to a place that is lost in time, and it attracts like a magnet! Once you have visited, you will want to come back again and again!

Sandy Bottoms is light and bright with an open floor plan in the main living area, which includes the living room, dining area and kitchen. It is a great space for family and friends to gather! The main living area has a view of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and access to the spacious deck.

The living room has plenty of seating with a large sectional sofa with chaise, as well as an additional comfy chair with ottoman and a desk and chair with charging station. Enjoy watching TV and take advantage of the DirecTV full lineup and smart TV. Bring your device and cast to enjoy your favorite entertainment accounts.

For your dining pleasure there is a large table with six chairs, plus two bar stools. The kitchen always gets rave reviews from our guests! It has everything you need to prepare and serve a meal. There are plenty of excellent restaurants in the area, but if you prefer to stay in and cook your own meals, you won't find anything lacking in the kitchen at Sandy Bottoms. Just read the reviews!

The primary bedroom suite is separated from the other two bedrooms. It has a private bathroom, comfortable queen bed, large dresser, two nightstands, comfy chair with table lamp, walk-in closet, and TV with DirecTV full lineup. The lamps have a USB port for charging your devices. The primary bedroom also has a view of the Gulf of Mexico and access to the deck.

The additional two bedrooms have two twin beds in one room and a queen bed in the other. Both the twin and the queen bedrooms have closets and chests for plenty of storage. The queen bedroom also has a desk and chair with charging station. Both bedrooms have multiple USB ports for charging devices. The second full bath is located on the wing with bedrooms two and three.

Step out of the living area or primary bedroom onto a large deck with a beautiful view of sugar white sand dunes and the gorgeous blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico! The deck also provides an additional sitting area and dining area, with a table and six chairs, two loungers and a glider. This is a great spot to view the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, watch the dolphins frolic, or catch some rays. You might even be lucky enough to see a show from the Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron as they practice!

Want to get out of the sun for a bit? Enjoy the additional covered living and dining area underneath the house in the carport area! You will love the outdoor enclosed shower which has hot and cold water, vanity with sink, lighting and electrical outlet. You must experience a hot shower where you can feel the ocean breeze and hear the crashing waves! There is also a sandy sitting area on the beach side of the house with Adirondack chairs. A great place to watch the kids play in the sand!

Step from the Gulf view deck to a boardwalk that leads to a covered gazebo with built-in seating. From the gazebo walk about 50 feet on the sandy beach access lot to the dunes, and over the dunes to the beach! The beach is normally shared by only 4 houses (however it is a public beach).

The beach at Sandy Bottoms is uncrowded and unspoiled and one of the widest sections of beach on the Fort Morgan peninsula. The dunes are beautiful and majestic! The beach is not groomed, which means you can happily hunt for driftwood, seashells, and other treasures. You might spot dolphins swimming and frolicking in the surf, pelicans flying in formation, or blue herons or seagulls right on the beach. Relax, unwind, soak up the sun, frolic in the waves, surf fish, and watch nature. Enjoy gorgeous sunrises and sunsets during the day and star gaze at night to the dark sky!

For added safety and security for our guests, Sandy Bottoms has security cameras monitoring the entry and exit points. The cameras only show the entry, the driveway in front and the dunes in back. The cameras do not show any other exterior area where you may congregate while at the house. There are no cameras or recording devices inside the house. Your privacy and enjoyment are important to us!
