*We are located in the mountains with beautiful nature around. This home does not have screen doors, so if doors are left open, the nature could come in. We do treat for pests, but it is best to close the doors behind you to try and keep mosquitos and such outside.

* Quiet Policy: Parties, loud noise and unruly behavior are absolutely prohibited, and guests are expected to respect the neighbors and the peace this mountain retreat area affords.
* Trash will need to be placed inside the bins located outside of the home to try and keep bears and other animals away.
* Any damage or excessive messes that need additional cleaning and/or repairs, the cost will be passed on to the guests from the maintenance crew.
* Upon check out, clean any dishes or load them in the dishwasher and start it.

Wonderful place to stay. The location is perfect and is close to hiking, the Biltmore, or anything you may want to do in downtown Asheville. The jacuzzi was wonderful and a great way to relax after a chilly hike. It is supplied well, and everything was clean and pleasant. Only downside was that we couldnā€™t stay longer!

House was incredibly clean. So many thoughtful touches, toys and games for the kids, everything labeled making clean up a breeze. Hot tub was hot and clean. Beds were very comfy.

Perfect visit!

We so enjoyed our stay in Fairview. The moment we walked in we felt at home. The house provided lots of spaces to be together or apart. Loved the hot tub at night in particular. Will definitely come back.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Nick and Carly's home in Fairview, NC. They are incredible hostsā€”seriously, the best we've encountered! They responded to our messages quickly and were so thoughtful throughout our trip.Their home is the perfect blend of comfy and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxation of the hot tub every evening. Most importantly, the kids absolutely loved the game room; it was a huge hit and kept them busy for hours!We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a memorable, comfortable, and fun getaway. This place was great! Owners were welcoming andresponsive. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, check out the restaurant across the street, it may be connected to a gas station but they have an awesome breakfast and lunch!

Comfortable Holiday getaway

Our hosts were fantastic with communication, always checking in and making sure we were comfortable. The house was super clean and equipped and we were able to pull of Thanksgiving dinner away from home. We had a lovely family time, enjoying the hot tub and game room and living areas. Having stayed in quite a few vacation rentals, we have decided that Misty Mountain Retreat is our favorite, hands down! Carly was responsive and friendly, making sure our issue was resolved quickly. From the cozy interior design to the well-stocked kitchen to the premium (!) paper towels and toilet paper, this vacation dream home has it all. We loved the gameroom, playing pool and pinball and TMNT video games. We appreciated the calm and quiet neighborhood and the wild turkey flock that roamed by each day. The views from the front porch and back deck were lovely, especially the misty mountain views out front.We highly recommend this lovely home away from home.

Great family experience

The property was exactly as pictured and perfect for a weekend away with our family! Tons of "extra" special details for a family getaway. The area was convenient if you wanted to travel into Asheville but Fairview provided unique options as well. We totally enjoyed our stay!
