The Cove at Fairview is open again! Our rental homes are as inviting as ever.
There are many things to do in the Asheville Area. You have your choice of many restaurants, bars, and breweries in both Fairview and nearby Asheville.
The Biltmore House, the Arboretum, the Asheville Museum, and parts of the Blue Ridge Parkway (with access to some trails) are all open.
Go shopping downtown, play pinball at the Asheville Pinball Museum, take a comedy bus tour with LaZoom, go horseback riding, get a massage, or simply relax in the serenity of nature at your rental home. Oh, and donā€™t forget to get carrots for the horses, mini-donkeys, and our goat!

The Huntley Cabin was built in 2011. This home features vaulted ceilings, Oak flooring, furniture made from refurbished barn wood, and a fully-equipped kitchen. This home has three bedrooms (one of which is a large sleeping loft), three bathrooms (one has an antique clawfoot tub), and two swinging beds on the screened - in porch. This home is always impeccably clean. There are two indoor fireplaces (the Living Area, the Basement Bedroom), and one outdoor fireplace underneath a covered porch. Relax in the seclusion of nature while still having the conveniences of technology - two flat-screen TVs, WIFI, +.

The Huntley Cabin features three porches and two decks. The screened-in porch (with swinging beds), the front porch which overlooks a gentle waterfall (with a propane grill), the covered side porch (with an outdoor fireplace & a pool table), a deck with a hot tub, and an additional deck. There are many places to enjoy a view of the surrounding forest!

We have a hobby farm 2 minutes away ā€“ visit the Horses, Koi Fish, and Chickens (fresh eggs provided).

The Huntley Cabin is conveniently located ā€“ just 15 minutes to downtown Asheville, 10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 15 minutes to The Biltmore Estate. Fine dining, local festivals, and mountain vistas are some of the local attractions our guests enjoy.

Location was within a short drive to everything that we wanted to do and see. The house was very well equipped with all required equipment in the kitchen and plenty of towels! Frank was easy to work with and answered all of our questions. We had a great time!

Relaxing Home Near Lots of Activities

The small waterfall, swinging beds, hot tub and pool table all provide a relaxing retreat. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was spacious and well stocked. Lots of variety of activities near by to enjoy and Frank was available and wanting to make your stay as perfect as possible.

Ashville getaway

we loved this property! Lots of outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the mountain. The screened in porch with the hanging beds was a unique place to relax, read a book or take a nap. The mini waterfall on the side of the property was lovely! Property is close to lots of small towns and the Biltmore. We'll for sure visit again!

The house was very nice and clean. I booked the house because we were traveling with my daughter, son in law and there 2 and 4 year old. We specifically rented it because they all could stay downstairs and I wouldnā€™t have to worry about the upstairs railings. As you know children and railings are dangerousl. When we arrived the downstairs had a ton of air fresheners plugged in, We were exhausted? as we drove 12 hours all day. When morning came they opened the closet door downstairs and the MOLD smell was HORRIBLE. I know that they had Healne hurricane damage and flooding because of the wall of mud had eroded so badly. I feel horrible for them as we ourselves had an enormous amount of hurricane damage as well. My daughterā€™s allergies reacted badly to it from sleeping there. Well no one could sleep downstairs so we had to buy an air mattress and bring the whole family in the living room to sleep. No one else could come upstairs because of the railings so they were forced to stay in the main area for the duration of our trip which was 4 more days. The owner offered a de humidifier. That was surely not going to help the situation. Just to let you know thereā€™s no bedroom on the main level, 1 upstairs and a loft next to it. Also be prepared to have a 4 wheel drive truck or SUV as it is VERU STEEP. Fortunately we didnā€™t have ice but even with nothing it was very nerve wracking to dive up and down so steep. The owner was very nice but it just didnā€™t work for us.

Great getaway!

We loved this property during our long weekend getaway to the Asheville area! Very clean and well stocked with towels, coffee & fresh eggs. We especially loved the two full size wood burning fireplaces! Also loved meeting the owner at cbeckin. We hope to come back on the future

After retiring from a 33 year career in sales management/ marketing, we visited our oldest daughter Etta and fell in love with Asheville. We moved to the Asheville Area in 2002 and lived in the house that became our first rental, ā€œOur House.ā€ (We built a cabin on the property and moved into it). Soon to follow, came our youngest daughter, Farris, and her now husband Danny. In 2009 their daughter Alyssa arrived and in 2015 Haley was born, making this a true family business.

We then decided to share the beauty of the Asheville Area and the hospitality of the Smokey Mountains with others. ā€œOur Houseā€ and ā€œMy Roundetteā€ were on the property when we originally bought it. Both have since been remodeled. We then purchased additional land and built ā€œMy Place,ā€ ā€œThe Huntley,ā€ ā€œThe Garden Cabin,ā€ and ā€œHideout.ā€

The Cove at Fairview is a family business that offers high quality rental homes. We utilize reclaimed wood in our houses as well as offering luxurious amenities. Our homes are truly have rustic mountain elegance.
All of the homes have private places to gather, such as porches and decks. Our larger homes feature indoor/ outdoor fireplaces.
While being very private and close to nature, you are still afforded all of the conveniences of technology such as high-speed internet.
Kick back, relax, and have a true retreat or a wonderful place to land after an exhausting day of fun (downtown is only 15 minutes away). Downtown Asheville has many restaurants and shops, as well as many as well many outdoor activities nearby including hiking. There are breweries and several restaurants in our town of Fairview. There is something nearby for everyone!
